Regardless of version I'm currently running, whenever there's a new version, I ALWAYS get TWO SIMULTANEOUS update notices. Why? One would be adequate!

Try updating to Firefox 43, and setting Firefox to update automatically, then let us know in a few weeks when the next version comes out if you still have problems.
