Since the latest instalment of Firefox, my websites have what look like Japanese or Korean symbols along the top above the tabs - is anything known about this?

Everything on the website is in English. However, along the top, slightly above the tabs is a stream of Japanese symbols. These are somewhat intermittent and go away for some time after I restart. They do come back.

Anyone else have this problem. thanks for any advice.

hello xanadu3, some other affected users tied the issue to the mcafee site advisor extension - please try to disable or remove that in case you have it present.

Many thanks for your prompt response with a definite solution. I took out SiteAdvisor and no longer have the characters. If they return, I will advise you of the situation.

Thanks again.
