In the past thunderbird recognised new versions and updated mostly automatically (potentially asking for approval). Since few weeks (I think since thunderbird 10x is running on my computer) I only get the message that Thunderbird was unable to update and that I shall download the newest version. While that is clearly a possibility it is also a bit more cumbersome to do, so I am wondering what might have gone wrong / what might have changed and - more importantly - what needs to be changed to return to the old behavior. Unified folder not working for default account

Until today all new messages for all of my accounts showed up both in their own accounts' inboxes and in the unified inbox. As of today the messages for my default email account have been showing up in the inbox of the default account, but not in the unified one. The new messages for all of the others show up in both inboxes. The settings are the same -- new messages are stored in the "inbox for this account." Any ideas?

Running vs 91.9.0 on Win 10 Lenovo Carbon x1. Several weeks ago, I started getting a popup in TB every night around the same time, telling me there is an update available. When I go look at Help/About it tells me my TB is up to date. How can I make this stop? (This started happening around the same time TB suddenly stopped processing my email filters. I had to remove and re-enter the filters and they work now.)

Thunderbird keeps stating that it needs to update and it's failing. I manually updated thunderbird to 102.3.2 (64 bit) which is the latest version. However it continues to state that I need to update manually due to it failing to install update.

How do I fix this issue with thunderbird continuing to request updates per failures even when there are no updates to install

Ever since the last automatic upgrade to my Thunderbird just over a week ago I now get a message every time I switch on which says, "Thunderbird can't update to the latest version" - "Download a fresh copy and we will help you install it". However, this refers to your latest version 102.3.0 and when I check my installed version, About Thunderbird says that I am already on 102.3.0 and below it says, "Thunderbird is up to date". How can I stop this annoying message? Michael

Request to re-install Thunderbird. My computer keeps asking me to re-install the new Thunderbird 102.3. I have done this , at least twice but it still keeps asking and according to the programmee I have the latest version already anyway?

I keep getting an error message (see uploaded image) that says Thunderbird can't update to the latest version and to download it manually. When I look at the About for Thunderbird, it says it already is the latest version (see uploaded image). So, I ignored that error message the first few times, but when it kept appearing, I downloaded and installed the update (after backing up the Profile folder in case of mishap; see uploaded image). It said it was installing and then the Install box disappeared (it did NOT say "You already have this version" and stop installing); I assumed it had finished (although, it never asked me to do anything, even though the error message implied I'd need help, and I couldn't see any difference in Thunderbird after it finished). Today, I got the error message AGAIN (even though I updated yesterday). What does it want me to do? Is it updated, or not? I'm confused.
