I have used Thunderbird for years! The TBird icon on my bottom toolbar disappeared 2+ weeks ago, and I replaced it. When I tap it, nothing opens. I have tried locating TBird with "Search," but the wheel spins and then stops with no results found. Was Thunderbird deleted? Is it on my hard drive? A non-active email account with important messages had been incorporated into my TBird email files, and I need to restore all the data from my TBird program. I am not tech savvy by any means, and want to avoid the $199 cost of the Geek Squad. Can someone please HELP ME restore my missing TBird and all my accounts that were held there?

creating a new message or forwarding one it needs a few characters to put into the address field to get offered the available addresses. Since upgrading to V78 (.10?) this does not work any longer for address lists... To write to an address list I can create out of the address book, oh. But forwarding is nit possible in this way. How to do?

Approximately 5 years ago, I set my Thunderbird account to automatically forward my emails to my personal Hotmail account. As of yesterday, it is no longer doing so and, in turn, sending my "senders" error messages.

When I start a new e-mail, the address list that shows on the left is now "Collected Addresses" instead of the Personal Address Book it always used to be. I can change from Collected Addresses to Personal Address Book but it always goes back to "Collected..." when I start a new msg. What caused this? How can I go back to the way it used to be?

Also, There is no delete function at top of email screen-why not?

Thanks for trying, and thanks for your response, but your answer didn't work. When I type in "about:config," I don't get a "This might void your warranty!" warning. Instead I'm shown the coded version (HTML?) of your message with the appropriate words highlighted.

Perhaps I'm leaving out an important part. I just downloaded Thunderbird today and have never used it, have never been to the newsgroups. The problem occurs at my initial attempt to get a list of newsgroups, not when I'm trying to go to the groups on a regular basis.

I need a little more formatting flexibility from Lightning. When I print a weekly calendar, the title reads "Week 10" in large bold print. Is there a way to change this to my name? I searched through the entries in the Tools/Calendar/Advanced file, but didn't find what I was looking for.

I have had Mozilla Thunderbird as my e-mail program on my P.C. for several years. My wife noted yesterday morning that while receiving e-mails, she could not send any e-mails OUT. We are on line with Time Warner and I called their technical support this morning only to be told that every thing was alright on their end and it must be software problems with Mozilla, contact them. I tried sending you folks a message initially, but the screen said I needed an account to ask questions. I worked around your system and this is where I have gotten. Initially, you folks, during my attempts to log on, kept saying a new temporary password had been sent to my e-mail, but I have received NOTHING BACK from you. I am, however, receiving my regular e-mails at that address, minus, the problem I mentioned. We can not answer or send any e-mails out. My telephone number is ***. Any assistance to resolve this matter would be appreciated. If you can include a telephone number to respond back to you, it would help. Thanks.

After I delete a message, it doesn't always go into Trash bin but disappears.

In a number of instances, when I delete an e-mail from my Inbox, it doesn't appear in Trash but completely disappears--usually it's one I decide I need to look at it again. Most of my real junk mail stays in my Trash folder until I empty the Trash folder.

contact (contact@dhl.com) The e-mail system had a problem processing this message. It won't try to deliver this message again.




Diagnostic information for administrators:

Generating server: exchange.dhl.com

When I try to send them from my gmail address directly from internet it works perfectly so the issue come from thunderbird for sure.

Could someone help?

T'bird is getting slower and slower; Temp files: gone; Norton A-OK...
