This started yesterday. Opening Thunderbird I get a popup saying its from Yahoo and it has my Yahoo mail address on it. If I delete that popup by clicking the upper right "X" another popup takes its place. And so, and so on. One popup after another all for various Yahoo products. Meanwhile Thunderbird can not be used - can't write, can't send and can't receive anything on Thunderbird.

What do I do??? If I reinstall Thunderbird I will loose all my saved emails, and anyway will that work???

I have run my antivirus, checking my whole disks, and nothing.

How do I get rid of the Yahoo popups???? Please someone help me.

like the topic says i cant get my outlook acount to work in thunderbird,i read some where that i need to change the settings but since it wont allow me to log in i cant do that. i have no idea what to do.

I have to keep hard copies of e mails. The problem is that as a trhead gets added to it means the print outs get longer and longer and are of course repatative Is there a setting that allows me to only print the most recent mail in a thread?

I am switching from Mac Mail to Thunderbird as my main email handler. I prefer to keep and use my Mac Contacts which Thunderbird seems to import with no problems. However when there are multiple email addresses associated with a contact, I cannot select which one should be used when I use a group as a distribution list.

It is important that I continue to use Mac's addressbook as I use it with other applications such as Messages.

For example, I want to automatically check the messages every 24h on Sunday and every 10min on the other day; how can I do?

On my Thunderbird I have many account: when I am at work, I need to check my working email box every 10min on working days, but when I am not at work I don't want to check the working box every 10 minutes but only one or two times in a day. Actually if I set the automatic check on every 10min, on Sunday I receive continuously the notification of new message (only message that I use on Monday) having a distraction for the other message of the other account that I need effectively to check every 10min on Sunday.

So I want to set the check of the message depending on the days of the week, or better by choosing a specific time/day. For example, for the account "Work" I want to ckeck mail every 10min from Monday to Saturday from 8.00 to 18.00, and every 180min from 0.00 to 7.59 and from 18.01 to 23.59. On sunday I need to ckeck it from 0.00 to 23.59 every 12h. For the account "Personal" I need to check it every 180min on every day from 0.00 to 23.59.

We have this annoying problem at work that emails with attachments don't get copied to the sent folder. Even small attachments of 5k are a problem.

When at home, with the same computers, it's not at problem. We have both mac and pc.

We use IMAP and have a Lan with more than 100 Mbit/s at work. Still we get:

"There was an error saving the message to Sent. Retry?"

"The message was sent successfully, but could not be copied to your Sent folder. Would you like to return to the compose window?"

Any ideas what to do?

how do I print all of my saved usernames and passwords? OR even one at a time? my handwriting is so poor that printing would be a great HELP thanks so much rex thompson.

Hello, I need to send many messages to my contacts adresses, but also to their secondary addresses. When I compose a message, I can access only the main email adress from my contact when I open the contact window. How can I do that ? is there a recommandable addon abble to do that ? I can see only the main but not the alternative address. Many thanks Regards Birdee

Dear Thunderbird support team,

I wanted to set up a filter sending a copy of e-mails from a particular sender to another e-mail address (within the same company) but I did not find such an option. There is only a possibility of forwarding the e-mail to another address.

Would it be possible to add it in the next release please?

If you liked the old toolbar from Thunderbird 2, you can quickly make that change with the Migration Assistant." Migration Assistant isn't listed under Help.

Using v24.6.0.

I am sending out mass mailings. I want to make it easy for the recipients to unsubscribe to my mailings. How can I include a simple one-click customized "please unsubscribe" in the email?

My corporate font for all documentation including emails is sans Serif and I cannot find our how to add sans serif and set it up as my default font. Can anybody let me know if this is possible and help?

I am trying to upgrade from ESR to Release. I saved my profile successfully, went to the install page and clicked Download. Got a request to donate, which I did. Then I got a page saying Thank you, Finish installing and enjoy Thunderbird. But there is no way to finish installing and I never got a download file. I've tried multiple times, nothing happens. Help!

I would like to upgrade my o/s to Windows Server 2012, however I need to know that Thunderbird email client is fully compatible under Windows Server 2012? Otherwise I will stick with Windows 8.1. I just trashed my server, so I am having to reimage Windows on my Drive C:, and was considering upgrade to 2012, or stay with 8.1.

I have spent 3 hours trying to figure this out. Nothing works for me.

Authentication always fails yet when I log into Outlook it always works.

I turned off using the new hub and was able to setup my email account but it told me OWL was not active (or something about OWL).

Godaddy is my provider.

What am I not doing correctly?
