I've read some articles about this but I can't find what they're talking about. What is the message header? I'm not sure when this started but I don't like it, it's confusing about what message I'm reading or discussing. I only want to see one message at a time and I can't seem to change the setting.

I'd like the quick filter to be in the huge empty void above it and not open in a new line unnecessarily. Also the quick filter button is too far to the right, out of reach it should be aligned left by default.

The Thunderbird Inbox is a mess..... Everything has lots of room, except the actual message. Mine is about 1" tall! How can I either fix the problem or go back to the previous version? Please bear in mind that I am not a very good problem solver, so I will need a step-by-step solution. Thank you.

I added another e-mail account to "Thunderbird 115.6.1" but its not being displayed in the column on the left, how can I get both accounts to show up? It does show up in the account settings. Hi, since the latest update when I open the thunderbird app it now opens my web browser on this page:

It does not seem to happen if I have already opened and closed thunderbird but each time I start my computer or after thunderbird has been closed for a while when I go to check my email it takes me first to this web page.

Please can you talk me through how to stop it from doing this as I'd like it to juwst take me straight into tha app like it did before.

Hello to all, I am having a real challenge with the latest version(s) of Thunderbird (115.8.1) on Windows 10 (i7 with 16Gbs Ran, 1TB SSD)

Background... Have been trying to add some accounts from a domain and this is where it seems to got astray. Added one account (acc#1) some time ago. At that time there was some issues at the time with the changing of the mail servers and the old provider. Left it partially entered within Thunderbird. With that, waited for a week or two to re-add these addresses. The one left was still there, redid the server settings, and added several other addresses from that domain. All seemed to be working just fine at that point... So closed out Thunderbird and shutdown the computer.

Upon rebooting the computer and opening Thunderbird... The account that was partially entered was there, but with the old incorrect settings. The other addresses were no where to be found.

Each time I shutdown Thunderbird and either restart or turn on the computer, the old (acc#1) is still there but with the incorrect settings. Have tried to delete it but it keeps coming back.

Assistance with this would be appreciated...

Do occasionally run CCleaner on this computer... could that be causing any of these issues?

After being abandoned by my ISP (and the problems this caused) I installed Thunderbird. Some month after this I raised an email account for my wife - so that I could do her entries to a sports club.

Now when I raise a business email to firms, the reply is sent to her account.

Could you advise me what if anything I've done wrong please?

I use many(!) different profiles. I would like my signature to be identical for all profiles except for the email address. Is there a way to do that?

Right now, if I want to change the content of my signature, I have to do it for all my profiles and that gets tedious when testing stuff out.

This is what it would look like:

At least you have the website, which will have the switch in the bottom right hand corner. Anyway, it is a little switch in the bottom right hand corner of the website that allows you to switch the colors from light themed to dark themed. The dark theme has a shade of white writing on it. Thunderbird has dark fox as an add on, will that do the same thing? will it come in the form of a switch? so i can go back and forth from light to dark to light, depending on my mood???? for the record, i also have no idea where the clipboard is in vivaldi/thunderbird. I can see it is on the clipboard, but no idea where the clipboard is. For even more record, i would like to have 6-10 items on the clipboard and be able to take them off the clipboard and put into my emails depending on the recipient.

Trash sits immediately below Junk. I frequently empty Junk (daily, sometimes more than once). My mouse occasionally moves slightly and before I know it, I've inadvertently emptied Trash, instead - oops! This is inconvenient because I occasionally need to fetch something from Trash, thus it's not emptied as often.

So basically, I need guardrails to protect me against myself! A menu item to select protection, would be nice.

I'd like to be able to configure the format of numbered lists, both for a particular list in an email, and as a default template that will apply to all future emails that I compose.

I can find no documentation on how numbered lists are supposed to work. Mine are currently giving me roman numerals at all levels, e.g.

1. Top level

 1.  Next level
   1.  Lower level

I recently have a new dialog box at the bottom of my email inbox. It opens with a welcome and asks for a donation. It then shows the top part of whatever email I click on in the inbox. I see no purpose for it and would like to delete it. How can I delete it?
