With the moving of Cox emails to Yahoo would it be feasible for Thunderbird to put an instruction list(with screenshots) of how to get all our TB email accounts from Cox to TB? Do we have to delete all our TB email accounts and re-enter them into TB under the new Yahoo or can we just change the server settings on the existing Cox settings? If just changing server settings what are the settings for the new yahoo? All my accounts are IMAP so if instructions could be made, maybe one for IMAP and one for POP for those who use either. v115.7.0 I have been a user and contributor for years. OS is still Win7. I have had a IMAP connection to Comcast for years, now it will not connect. I have made sure I am using the correct password. When I start thunderbird, a secondary window pops up with the error message unable to connect. WEnt thru lots of posts but no results. One interesting said to disable IPV6 security option, but the way they described the fix was to access thry the EDIT menu then Preferences, but my system does not have Preferences under Edit.

How does one enable calendars in Thunderbird version 115.8.0? When I click the calendar icon on the left of the page, I get a calendar displayed but it has a message highlighted in yellow that says: "All calendars are currently disabled. Enable an existing calendar or add a new one to create or add events."
I cannot find anything in settings or elsewhere to enable calendars.

Hello, I have been using Thunderbird with the Manually Sort Folders app for years. The ability to place folders and subfolders where I need them is essential for what I do. With the latest Thunderbird "upgrade", it was downgraded as the Manually Sort Folders app is no longer useable. Until Mozilla fixes it to where either the app can be used or Thunderbird is improved so that it will let me sort folders itself, I cannot upgrade. Please either render the Manually Sort Folders app useable again or make Thunderbird so that folder can be sorted. Thank you.

I'm using Thunderbird 115.8.1 (64-bit) on Windows 10 with IMAP, a gmail account, all folders are set to sync offline.
Two days ago someone sent me a message with a couple of attachments, I read it, it was downloaded ok.
Today, working offline, I try to read the same message and I get "The Body of this message has not been downloaded for offline use".
Searching for this problem online is insanely frustrating as there appears to be an infinite number of explanations online telling me how to get the message body downloaded. It WAS downloaded, I was looking at it two days ago! This has been a common problem in Thunderbird for me for several years now. Messages are downloaded, read, I go offline, they are still there ok, then a few days later they mysteriously say "The Body of this message has not been downloaded for offline use".
Fragments of the message bodies appear in search results, even at the same time as trying to read the messages gives me "The Body of this message has not been downloaded for offline use." It's in there somewhere, I can even find the entire message body by searching the data files in the profile folder, but Thunderbird THINKS it's not downloaded.
I need to work offline a lot, and any help would be very much appreciated.

Its driving me crazy as when an email comes in after a short time it disappears into the threads and then I have to open each thread to find out who sent the email. At one stage there were 6 emails noted near the inbox but no new unthreaded message, all went to respective threads. Very time wasting.

Everything I have is in Seamonkey Mail (2.53.18.1) and I am trying to get them out. all I want is all my mail folders, don't care about the rest of the settings, all contacts are in my gmail , it's just all the mail folders
You cannot see from the screen shot but clicking the button does totally nothing, all the seamonkey folders are name & name.msf

Thunderbird has oldest on top. This includes emails within a thread/conversation. Changing the sort to newest on top does not change the emails within the thread/conversation. The sort does not apply to all emails. I find this very annoying.

Hello, Linux environment is running on my chromebook, thunderbird has been installed. 2 issues: - When I try to install an extension, I always get a message "This extension will have permission to have unlimited access to thunderbird and the computer". and I'm stuck. The add button does not trigger any action. This does the same thing if I want to install a dictionary from the settings. - I have no access shared folders like my Drive on my Chromebook, despite having Linux sharing enabled.
