Dzień dobry, Chciałbym uzyskać pomoc z odblokowaniem możliwości wysyłania wiadomości, mianowicie prowadzę restauracje i wysyłałem duza liczbę wiadomości z ofertą gastronomiczna i nagle pojawił się problem.

I remember when you could select a range of messages and delete the lot quickly. This is how I maintain my email. For a while now, and still, it takes a bit to sort messages, normally for me sort is by "Correspondent". Then when I select a range and hit delete, I may as well go do something else. Thunderbird goes unresponsive for the long duration. It is a major problem.

I am still using Win10 Pro, system disk is an SSD (1 TB) and the data disk is a normal HD (4 TB). 16 GB RAM, a Lenovo tower. It is not running out of memory, the drive isn't over utilized either. A 15 message delete is slow, try over 100 messages!

All other programs run fine, it is used in electronics design mostly. This issue popped up a while ago and I kept hoping it would be fixed. It hasn't yet. The OS is kept up to date, no other changes. I do compact folders regularly, so indexes should be optimized.

When I start T'bird in normal mode, I get what you see in picture #1. Notice the custom menu bar at the top. I can still receive emails into the Inbox (but can't see or access them), and I can write an email, access the Address Book, Calendar, etc.

When I then start in Safe mode, with Shift key down, I get what you see in Picture #2. Notice that the custom menu bar at the top is gone. I have to recreate it every time I shut down and restart T'bird. That is unacceptable.

Please advise what I should do to correct this situation. If I can't, then I'm through with Thunderbird (after some 15+ years).

My Local Folders has become corrupted after restoring from a backup. I can't delete or move subfolders, and can only delete messages by holding down the shift key. Is there a way of repairing this? Thanks.

Several days ago, my comcast email said it couldn't connect, and after trying a couple other things, I removed the account and tried to add it back on. When I try to add it as an IMAP account, it pulls up a window that loads for a minute then says "Unable to connect. An error occurred during a connection to localhost." On the thunderbird window where I entered my password, it says "Unable to log in at server. Probably wrong configuration, username, or password." I logged in on a browser, so I know the username and password are correct. I tried adding it as a POP account, and that worked fine, but I need it as IMAP.

Hi, I have Windows 11, Intel processor, 64 Gb RAM, TBytes of SD storage. Lately I have been experiencing issues displaying email with attachments. It is intermittent, but occurs when I display an email with one or more attachments such as PDFs. I have a preview window open to the right of my mail list. If I click on the item in the list I see a properly formatted email in the preview window .. for a few seconds. Without me touching anything, the mail converts to HTML and the attachment is gone. Redisplaying the item goes right to HTML. Further, the HTML has nothing to do with the original message. If I go to my mail server the original item might still be there, but it might be gone. I have not seen a pattern to determine why some are gone. I need to solve this. I don't see this problem described in previous posts.

Attachments: tbird_before.jpg - preview email with attachment (personal data obscured) a few seconds later it switches to tbird_after.jpg and I cannot get the email back.

My TB repeatedly downloading all the emails in my Inbox, it is slowing down TB and can't access and reply to current email due to it. Is there any solution to it without losing my data?

Apparently the latest Thunderbird update is causing our Windows 11 print spooler to stop. I've seen this problem talked about elsewhere but have not seen a solution. The spooler has to be restarted, otherwise no app/program will print, since only Print to PDF is then available. This is making Thunderbird almost useless to us. Help.

It all started about 3 days ago. I was having problems accessing my att.net email account on both my iMac running Thunderbird 115.10.1 and on my iPhone running iOS 17.4.1. I changed login password and was able to get the mail on iPhone, but not on the computer running Thunderbird. I got the settings information for both POP3 and IMAP from att. I first tried to go into Thunderbird and was able to find the email protocol settings and they were correct for POP3, but still not retrieve email. The error message I last received is, "Sending of password for user ******@att.net did not succeed. Mail Server inbound.att.net responded:[SYS/TEMP] Server error - Please try again later.

Thunderbird Error Message (attached). Sending of the message failed. The message could not be sent because connecting to the Outgoing server (SMTP) cs15.uhcloud.com failed. The server may be unavailable or is refusing SMTP connections. Please verify that your Outgoing server (SMTP) settings are correct and try again.

I am trying to send out an emergency email asking for GoFundMe contributions to a very large amount of addresses. Thunderbird has suspended my ability to send emails completely. Please help, this needs to be done immediately. Here's what Tbird is now saying: "Sending of the message failed. The message was not sent due to exceeding the allowed number of recipients. The server responded: <wdr@nc.rr.com> service deferred. Too many recipients in a short amount of time. Please try again later. AUP#Out-1440."

I think this is unreasonable. I understand the need to fight spam, but this most definitely is not that.

I downloaded Thunderbird from Microsoft store. I enter my name, email and password. The first message was "Configuration found in Mozilla ISP database", but the last message was the Error: "Unable to log in at server. Probably wrong configuration, username or password".

Email is from gmail. App version is 115.9.0 (64-bit).

I have tried to restore a backup made with Mozbackup. This was a bad idea. I now have 2 profiles xxxdefault-beta and yyy.default. So I asked Tbird to install from yyy.default where i've got my recent emails and it tried to import without success. I humbly ask for some options. Can I merge 2 profiles ie copy them into one profie folder? Can I hide/rename the profiles then delete Tbird and install anew? I promise on my grandmothers skateboard I will never use Mozbackup again, + . As an aside in appdata,local,tbird,profiles,yyy.default,cache2 there's a whole bunch of alphacoded files. what do these do?

Thunderbird processes in version 125.0 are not exiting cleanly, just like it was in v115.10.1; user intervention is required via task manager to kill the the open Thunderbird processes, before Thunderbird can be restarted.

Yesterday my Thunderbird was sending but NOT saving sent messages. I was receiving all messages. Today, however, I CANNOT RECEIVE or SEND messages. I have used Thunderbird on this computer for years . . . what has happened?

how can i stop thunderbird from interacting with windows defender anti virus scan? when ever i download or delete emails i get a few seconds of "not responding " and the whole computer is non responsive. i used to be able to turn off real time scan in security and it would work for a day and then windows would enable it again. now since the last upgrade windows isnt allowing me that option any more. solutions?

About 3-4 days ago, images no longer appeared inline and there isn't a button to show images, just an empty box. My T'bird is set to auto update, so not sure if an update caused this? Not sure if it's related, but at the same time, my rss feeds stopped due to "invalid security certificates." I did not make any changes to previous settings. Thanks for any suggestions!

I am asked to get a new password from my mail server (AOL) every day when trying to send messages. Have to log on to AOL, ask for app password, enter at Thunderbird. DAILY!
