When I compose/write a new email the text correctly displays the font and size I have selected In PREFERENCES -COMPOSITION - HTML STYLE which is Times New Roman with FONT SIZE selected as Medium.

However when I view the very same email composed with line and length and breaks fitting Times New Roman Medium in my SENT box the font and size has been changed to what appears to be a HELVETICA font with the SIZE being larger than medium and this causes sentence wraparounds and corruption of the entire appearance of the email composed/written

How and what do I set to ensure the compose/write fonts display the same in SENT/RECEIVED.

Greetings,

I am running 91.5.0 (64-bit). And for the last year or so, I was accessing all my various TB profiles by going to HELP -> MORE TROUBLESHOOTING INFORMATION -> ABOUT PROFILES and then I would get the option to launch any profile I wanted.

The problem is that now when I launch any other profile then it comes up totally blank. It is just a shell. All the info is missing.

Your guidance and help is kindly requested...thank you!!

I hope someone can help me. Up until the last week or so, I have had no problem with my signature file in outgoing email. I've been using the same signature file for at least 5 years. Suddenly, Thunderbird is blocking my logo image in my signature file in all outgoing mail. Instead, it is showing my alternate text. I am using version 102.6.1 on Windows 10

About a month or so ago Thunderbird updated. After that one of my email groups of 54 addresses no longer went on separate Bcc rows but were all included in one row. That was around the time when my ip address became blacklisted by Spamhaus and MXToolbox. Now they want $100 a month in fees to ensure my emails get through because they are all being returned to me as spam now.

I want to go back to placing each of my address book contacts into SEPARATE BCC rows by using a global drag and drop, not an individual posting.

Can anyone show me how to do that as I have been unable to discover how to get back to that old way. Vic

I have been having difficulties with Thunderbird account definitions for 6 months. I didn't recognize it as a definitions problem because I hadn't made any Thunderbird changes. I finally have all but 1 of my 5 email accounts working... but, my now-working Gmail account has a lot of extraneous folders (like multiple trash bins, etc; see attached).

Gmail shows 2 lists of incoming email: "Inbox" and "All mail". The "Inbox" folder is incomplete, most recent email shown is from last August; the "All Mail" folder appears to contain a complete list of emails for the Gmail account.

Can I get rid of all the extraneous folders? How?

When I selected the TB icon a window came up saying I must set up my existing email account. I fill in my name, my eddress and password. The next window that comes up shows TB found mobile.charter.net but my email was set up using email.twc.com. The port numbers are the same but the server names are different. When I complete this activity the end result is that my information if rejected. I attempted to configure it by hand but it too was rejected. I am using an HP desktop with the latest Win 10 OS. I don't know what to do.

When TB recently updated from 78.14.0 (64 bit) to 91.2.0 (64bit), all my extensions did not load. I reviewed and verified they are compatible with 91. Toggling the enable/disable in add-ons manager did nothing although some mysteriously did get disabled. Restarting TB from scratch had no impact. (I note that closing TB tends to cause a crash.)

I was able to get the most extensions to function if I re-installed them into TB but the minute I closed TB and restarted, they all went away again.

I note that clicking on "Check for Updates" causes an "Updating add-ons" message to appear.....forever.

What gives? This is only slightly less painful than the transition to 78.....argh!

Hello, Just installed thunderbird the other day. Noticed today that I am missing a sent folder for the two accounts. I've spent a couple of hours now trying to figure it out (I am not techie at all). Following through the config options I thought I had it solved when at Message Storage > local directory > browse I'd find the missing piece. However, there is no sent item listed. Below this is Advanced POP settings yet I seem to not have that feature in my settings either. thanks,

Hello,

I am using Thunderbird on both Linux and Windows and ran into the same problem on both OS after installing updating to Version 91.5.0.

Under preferences I have "Always ask" enabled for PDF-Files because I want to be able to choose the action depending on the document. I have the same config for Docx-Files.

When I click on a pdf - it opens a promt where I am asked what I want to do with the document - "Open with" or "Save" and no option is pre-selected. If I then press enter, nothing happens. I have to manually click on one of the two options and then press enter or "OK" to confirm the action.

With docx for example, it works perfectly. I get the same prompt but "Save File" is pre-selected. I can press enter and another prompt about the saving location opens.

I am guessing this is a bug since I only found this issue with Pdf-Files but if it is not, please let me know where to configure this option so it auto-selects "Save File" in the prompt.

Thanks in advance for any answer!

Hi, I am using Thunderbird 91.2.1 (64-bit) on Windows. When I click on Find more add-ons, the addons.thunderbird.net site show that most all the addons are incompatible. And those that are indicated as compatible are compatible with older versions. See attached e.g. for smart templates. Is it because of some preferences set wrongly?
