Hi there,

I love that anything I save in my bookmark folders syncs across desktop and the android app. However, whenever I bookmark a page on the android app these days, it always saves it to a specific folder. It used to save it to whichever folder I last bookmarked a page to, but it doesn't do that anymore; it's like it's got stuck and by default now, only saves to a folder that I rarely want to save to. That means that every time I bookmark a page, I have to edit the bookmark and save it to the folder I actually want to save it to.

Now, the way it worked before, if the folder I wanted to save the bookmark to wasn't the last folder I'd saved to, I'd have had to edit the bookmark. But most of the time, I was saving to the same folder as the previous time, so that was fine. But that's not the case now.

So in summary: I have a folder I occasionally save to and that is now the default that Firefox Android saves my bookmarks to. I have another folder (called Books) which I use 90% of the time. So now, I have to edit at least 90% of my bookmarked pages so that they end up in my Books folder, whereas relatively recently, they would have saved there automatically (seeing as Books would likely have been the most recent folder I'd saved a bookmarked page to). So: is there anyway to change the default folder for bookmarks please? Many thanks.

I noticed something that feels really inconvenient when working with many open tabs. Right now, when I try to bookmark multiple open tabs, there’s no simple way to select all of them at once. There’s no “Select All” option, so I have to manually pick each tab, which becomes frustrating if I have dozens of tabs open.

It would be very helpful to have a “Select All” checkbox or button when adding open tabs to bookmarks, so users could quickly save everything in one step.

This seems like a small feature, but it would make managing tabs much easier, especially for people who research a lot or keep many tabs open.

Hello, I work a lot with favorites and have built quite a sophisticated folder structure. Since the latest updates, it’s become easier to manage everything when creating a new favorite—it’s clearer and easier to navigate.

However, there’s one issue: every time I want to add a new favorite, the same folder is always shown as the default, and I have to navigate to the desired folder each time. If I want to save several pages in a row to a different folder, this becomes very annoying. It used to be that the last selected folder was offered as the default.

Could this perhaps be changed or improved again? Thank you very much!

I went to save a bookmark in my mobile browser to a folder that I used to have access to. Now when I went to save a bookmark to that folder, I am allowed to save t to mobile bookmarks, bookmarks toolbar, or bookmark menu. You changed the 3 dot menu so now I have to use both hands to awkwardly make adjustments in that menu, and I can't use the "forward" arrow either.

STOP FIXING SHIT THAT WASNT BROKEN.

Suggested Fixes or upgrades.

1. 1: Way to disable auto zoom on android.

Have screen zoomed up manually to see screen content on android phone. Start typing phone zoomes in to close and can not see whole field or other important info on screen I had previously zoomed in to see. every time I zoom out to see again and start typing auto zooms back to where it it difficult. Makes it difficult to be productive fighting the auto zoom feature. would like to be able to disable it, if possible. would make my life much easier as I work away from home and have to use my phone for many tasks. Prefer Desktop to avoid these issues but situation is what it is.

1. 2: Fix sort order on Bookmarks (Have in My Manuel order of importance order on desktop), on Android (sorts alphabetically). difficult to locate bookmarks

Hi. When I want to bookmark a site, it says the error "invalid url." It doesn't add to the bookmarks. But when I bookmark the same site on the PC with the same profile, it adds to the bookmarks. I will help you give every data you want to check. The sites I want to add to the bookmarks do not add them on sites such as Google Twitter etc. Thank you in advance. I hope you will help.

Unable to view the subfolders in the bookmarks folder when I add or edit bookmarks:

three vertical dot icon > bookmark page > edit > bookmarks > tap on ">" next to "bookmarks" to view the subfolders

This problem started happening after the latest update.

For some reason I can now no longer save my bookmarks to a specific folder anymore it's not giving me the option. As is shown in the image below, this is the only thing that pops up when I try to save my bookmarks now, even when I click on the arrow next to bookmarks it does not expand out to show me all the folders that I have in my bookmarks so I was wondering if there's a way to get it to work properly.

I used to be able to save bookmarks in specific folders. That option is no longer available. When I try and select Bookmarks Menu nothing happens. I can go into Bookmarks and see all my folders. I don't know after which update I noticed the issue. Is there a fix for this? I'm running Firefox 148.0.2 (Build #2016148295), on Galaxy Tab S6 Lite, SM-P 613.

Int the main Bookmark menu, the sub folder "Food" does not show. Cnnot place the bookmark in the right folder. None of them are showing. Selecting the edit button doesn't show them either.

I'm using firefox mobile version 148.01 on Samsung A55 running Android 16. When i create a new bookmark, i can't select which folder to put it into, i can only put it into 'bookmarks' folder, not any subfolders inside of it. Editing the saved bookmark doesn't help either

Recently I haven't been able to properly edit my bookmarks. I can't sort them into sub-folders when saving or editing them. The subfolders still exist, I just can't seem to add anything to them. And going further back picture-in-picture doesn't work. It works for another browser but all I get from Firefox is audio only. Solution?

Firefox 148.01 on Android 10, when attempting to save a page in a bookmark subfolder I click the 3 dots, save bookmark comes up, I click on it, then I click on bookmarks edit which appears a few seconds on the bottom of the page and than it says bookmarks and underneath new folder, my subfolders don't show up anymore. So I can only save under bookmarks or underneath start a new folder. I don't see a way of moving the page from bookmarks to the subfolders either.

As above and when I click on the 3 menu dots to save a page in a bookmarks subfolder only bookmarks shows and clicking on that doesn't anymore bring up the subfolders like in version 147. So I can save pages only under bookmarks and there is also no way to move it to a subfolder from there.

I can't edit Bookmarks on Android anymore to move bookmarks to subfolders of Bookmarks that were previously created. This is a recent issue. Android 16, Pixel 10 Pro. I have previously created a number of subfolders of the Bookmarks folder. I used to be able to move bookmarks easily with the edit option to a subfolder. Now the carrot next to the Bookmarks folder does not expand. Restarted phone, un/reinstalled Firefox. I can edit my bookmarks in Firefox in Windows 11, and now this is my only way to move bookmarks so that they are in a subfolder on my phone. I have to move them on my laptop. I mainly browse on my phone, so this is very inconvenient, and not a good development from my point of view. Thanks for your help!

Ever since the new update I can't save to any of the bookmark folders on my phone anymore. When I click on bookmark now all I get is the options to save in the bookmark menu, the toolbar, other bookmarks or create a new folder. But all the other bookmark folders that I have I can no longer save to them it no longer gives me the options.

Even created a new folder to see if that would work, but I still can't access it when I bring up the bookmark menu so I was wondering if there's any workaround or a fix to the solution?

When adding a bookmark on Android, I used to be able to sort bookmark order within folders by custom sort, A-Z, and age. Recently (as of 148.0 (Build #2016144279)), the folder menu when adding a bookmark is now different, but the sort options no longer work.

I'm making a post here before making one on Mozilla Connect, in the hopes this bug can be passed on to a developer.

When I simply want to save the page I am on to my bookmarks, I press the Bookmarks icon, then I go to the destination folder, and there I have several icons but no option to save.
