Please allow force-enabling of the "Open in App" button on all domains.

The cause of my asking this is that YouTube no longer has this option. Presumably because they explicitly disallowed this. I want my end-user control over this back. To note, reddit still has this option.

So my request is to add a toggle to force this button to appear on all domains, if at all possible.

basically what I said on the subject field, everything works fine on any other app and browser but on firefox on mobile is just inverted and I can't find any setting or guide or anything related to this issue and is so confusing when navigating on any site is just inverted but going on like the settings or clicking on the 3 dots it just works as it supposed to work. I got tired of this weird bug so Imma report it now

The 'Open in App' button is missing in the overflow button.

I'm using Firefox beta for testers on Android. Version 115.0b3

Idk if this it's common knowledge or not, but I couldn't find anything anywhere about this! I accidentally opened a menu that let me change the background of my homepage on Firefox Nightly (Android)

I was just tapping around and a drawer poped up with a bunch of options including some limited edition ones at the bottom

I didn't think to screenshot the drawer but I did pick one I liked the looks of from the preview. I'll include a screenshot of the default homepage grey and the purple gradient I got through the theme drawer

The only other thing I remember is something about "add a splash of color" (it was spelt the American way specifically I remember)

Does anyone know how I can get this menu back? I want to try the different themes and theme my main Firefox app too

Hello, chromebook user here. I dont know if i count as android or not but still i have a problem. Just today i switched from chrome to firefox, and i realized i cant customize wallpapers! I have searched up every possible tutorial on here and youtube and on firefox itself. Hopings devs can solve this

I have an android tablet, which I use for browsing the internet but firefox always open the websites in mobile pages which is not useful and gives very bad experience

I hope that you can help me to make it always open in desktop mode

Why does Firefox purposely choose to alienate their Android users by not allowing them to choose their own home screen. The Firefox web browser on Windows does.

As much as I distrust Google as a company and avoid using their products (as much as convenietly possible), I am very comfortable using their search engine and comfortable seeing a Google homepage with the Google search bar.

Firefox doesn't even give me the courtesy to: 1) know or understand which search engine I am using when I am on the "forced" Firefox homepage, or 2) set my own homepage. Therefore, I have to ensure the cursor is in the "search/web address" bar, start typing "google", and hit enter in order to get to the familiar Google homepage of which I am comfortable. I hate that Firefox forces me to do that!

Otherwise, I like using the Firefox browser as an alternative to Google. Nonetheless, it's your company and you can do what you like, but as soon as I come across an alternative browser that allows me to adjust it's settings to my preferences, it's adios MFr's to Firefox.

FYI, I would LOVE to meet the decision maker at Mozilla that OK'd this change and listen to him/her/they hem, haw and double-speak through their ridiculous justification. Another thing, while I'm at it.... Exactly, when did it become a better idea for companies (challenging the industry leader) to alienate their users?

am using a Chromebook with FireFox. It is a large screen. By default FireFox open site in Mobile display. Is there a FireFox setting to open all sites in Desktop display? Could it be possible to add a setting in FireFox to open all site in Desktop format by default?

I was told to post this here so someone could look into it. I use the Dark Reader Addon, which seems to be the only dark mode add-on for Firefox, but lately it is causing issues with simple scripts on websites, namely the "read more" button on pretty much every news article. The button is just completely unresponsive unless I disable Dark Reader. Very frustrating as bright white backgrounds strain the eyes and dark mode really helps.

I posted a review directly on the Dark Reader Addon page as well.

I'm using a Samsung Galaxy S22 running Android 13.

It would be nice if dark mode capabilities were standardized and built into the app/websites instead of needing special workarounds like add-ons.

There used to be an optio open in app option under 3 dot menu right hand corner but after updating to latest version it has gone.

I need that option badly. Please help getting that back I don't want to clear data or uninstall as it will completely ruin many settings logins layout ETC it will be chaos for me

I think it was the update to 1:15, but I'm not certain when the search engines I had disabled were unable to again. I don't understand why I can't delete, for example, Bing and eBay which I will never ever use, but to have to disable them adventuresjust because I update Firefox, seems ridiculous.
