Had a bit of a glitch in my gadget and unfortunately had to clear all cache in every app on my s20.

Now, my extensive collection of bookmarks is gone. (Snif)

How, if possible, can I recover them in an android? (Yup, no longer have a laptop, or PC.)

Please add the following features.

Once the bookmarks are in a collection, then save the whole collection to bookmarks.

When selecting open tabs to save, have the ability to save to both collections and bookmarks at the same time.

Have the ability to select all open tabs so you don't have to select individual tabs.

When trying to open a bookmarked site, for example "https://mstdn.social/@noelreports", it suggests the site up until having typed in "noe". So, I can type in "n", "o" and "e" and get it suggested all the time. But as soon as "l" is added, the suggestion disappears. But this "l" is part of both the page title and the address, so that is really strange. Very irregularly, when I delete the last letter and retype it, the bookmark suddenly appears. On the synced Windows 10 installation of Firefox, everything works flawlessly.

I just updated to 109 and years of bookmark are gone. In previous versions there was an option to import bookmarks. 109 has nothing. Menu,bookmarks has one option:desktop bookmarks. In there are 3 options all of which give a message ,no bookmarks here, when tapped. 1. Have I missed something. 2. If not can I roll back the update, if so how? Thank you

I use Firefox on at least three different devices, and my Firefox account is linked on all these devises. And I have a huge amount of bookmarks, and almost daily create new bookmarks, as well as store links into existing bookmarks on my Linux Laptop. The problem is that when I then later use my Android smart phone or my Android Samsung Tablet, the bookmarks are not reflected in the same user friendly fashion as it was created or seen on my Linux Laptop. So much so that it is extremely user unfriendly and nearly impossible to store a link into an existing bookmark or to create a new sub-bookmark into an existing bookmark - also because the bookmarks can not be collapsed or navigated as easily as on my main device, which is the Linux Laptop. I need Firefox to reflect my bookmarks in exactly the same fashion and same order as I create them, and I need the bookmarks be be collapsable and navigable. I really want to use Firefox, but this disability forces me to now use Chrome, and I do not want that. Please fix the bookmarks in Firefox. I want to see all web pages in desktop view, without having to change the setting for each page I go to. This is an option in other popular browsers. Why not this one?

And please don't tell me why mobile view is better or why I don't really need the feature I'm asking for. I know what I want. And I know exactly why I want it. And I know I'm not the only one who wants it. in July 2021 someone asked for the same thing and Paul replied, "This is something that we are currently working on and hope to include in a future update very soon (it is currently in our Nightly version while it is being tested)." A year and a half later, it's still not available, including (as far as I can see) in the Nightly version. Yet in both instances of this feature being requested, the topic is marked "Solved" and archived. I guess the "solution" is to ignore what users want and force us to use the product in the way you think we should. Very Apple/Google of you!

Between this, no ability to export bookmarks from mobile, and very limited extension support, I'm finding myself ready to give a very bad rating in the play store and switch to another browser.

Hi, When any other app in my device uses the browser to open a tab instance within the said app itself, there is no option to add to bookmarks. The only options available are - 1. To move back and forward 2. Reload the page 3. Open in Firefox 4. A toggle for the Desktop site I personally add a lot of such links to my bookmarks for further reading and it would be a huge help if an option of "Add to bookmarks" could be added to the options there. Google Chrome has an implementation of what I'm talking about and you could just look to that for inspiration.

The year is 2023, still no import function for bookmarks from a different browser on Android phones?

Should I just give up on Mozilla Firefox and use something else??

When are we getting the bookmarks bar? Users have been asking for this feature for YEARS, and yet you keep ignoring us, why? Why is it so hard to make?

You don't want to give us the bookmarks bar? Fine, how about fixing the home screen? Only 2 rows and 2 pages of bookmarks? Are you guys joking? How about, I don't know, 10 rows and five columns, and 10 pages? You don't have to resize anything, you just have to use the space more wisely.

Also, can you get rid of the top left logo? It's a waste of space, I already know I'm using Firefox, you don't have to remind me every time.

Also #2, move the "private browsing" icon to the 3 dots menu.

Also #3, remove the pin icon from the bookmarks tags.

Also #4, remove the grey border of the favicons, it's more space wasted, you really love wasting space and our time don't you?

Sometimes I feel like you are you do things wrong on purpose, is Google paying you to be this bad? Honestly I can't find another answer, I hope I'm wrong.

Please add one option to drag up and down by tap and hold bookmarks and folders in bookmarks menu, this function will be very useful to arrange bookmarks properly.

How can I transfer my bookmarksto Chrome IN THE SAME order as I have them in my Firefox? I know how to transfer them, but I need them in the same order as I have them in Firefox

Just migrated to Pixel 7 Android. Was able to sync my logins and passwords from my PC. However Boomarks didn't sync even though I selected/checked them to be synced. Why not? How do I get my PC boomarks to appear on a Pixel 7?

I recently bit the bullet and am transferring from chrome to firefox. I was able to transfer my hundreds of book marks from chrome into desktop firefox, but I cannot get them on my phone. I saw one user suggest doing a "sync now" to force it, but when I tab "sync now" nothing happens and it continues reading "Last synced: Never" and I am logged into the same accounts on desktop and mobile.

How do I get this to work?

I recently lost my bookmark star on the address line at the top of my Samsung Galaxy. They appear in the drop down menu but it's easier to have the star right next to my download flag, etc. I can't seem to remember how to customize the top line of my android phone.

How to Add bookmarks to folders in "firefox mobile"

Step 6 is the absolute weirdest way to add bookmarks to folders and it doesn't even work!

"6. Tap a few times the ←arrow at the top of the screen until you return to browsing the web"

The problem is what arrow key?.. All I have is a checkmark on the top right of my screen! I already use bookmarks/folders in my Firefox for Windows so why does this one have to be so abstract, minimalistic and counter intuitive?

My point is that I really don't want to use a mainstream browser from apple or Google and I like everything about Firefox for PC and Android except this is damn folder UI on mobile is the bane of my existence atm.

I've looked everywhere on YouTube, Google, Reddit, and of course Mozilla support. What am I missing? Please send a video or something just to clarify what I'm supposed to do in regards to adding bookmarks to folders.

Need assistance in transferring my firefix android bookmarks from galaxy 22 to galaxy 23. These bookmarks aren't saved anywhere else. These are just for my mobile. Can anyone help? Thank you
