When adding a bookmark on Android, I used to be able to sort bookmark order within folders by custom sort, A-Z, and age. Recently (as of 148.0 (Build #2016144279)), the folder menu when adding a bookmark is now different, but the sort options no longer work.

I'm making a post here before making one on Mozilla Connect, in the hopes this bug can be passed on to a developer.

Initially the bookmarks on Android started appearing in apparently random order after every quit/restart. I signed out of Laptop and Android, then signed in again and set up syncing again on both, but now the bookmarks on my Laptop no longer appear on Android at all, even after syncing.

I use collections and it's frustrating that we can't sort the links added as well as the collections themselves. It would be perfect if we were able to sort collections.

​I am experiencing a bug where subfolders do not appear in the "Select folder" screen. ​In the Bookmarks manager, my folders exist correctly. ​However, when I try to save a new bookmark, the "Select folder" screen only shows the root "Bookmarks" folder. ​Even if I tap the ">" icon to expand, the subfolders are not displayed. ​Device Info: ​App Version: 149.0a1 (Build #2016143751) ​OS: Android 12

When I simply want to save the page I am on to my bookmarks, I press the Bookmarks icon, then I go to the destination folder, and there I have several icons but no option to save.

I foolishly upgraded to the latest Android mobile version. I like my bookmarks kept in the order I set them. Firefox, with the new version has decided they should be alphabetical once again. I have turned off this annoying behaviour in previous versions by disabling Compose Bookmarks in the secret settings. This option is no longer visible. How do I get my bookmarks back in the order want and stop firedox from screwing them up again?

What is this obsession the development team have with screwing up user bookmark organisation? This keeps coming back like a bad penny.

All of a sudden I am getting an "Invalid URL" error when trying to bookmark a website on Firefox mobile. I have tried pages with different extensions (.com, .org, .tv). I cleared the cache and restarted my phone. Did not work. I have the latest Firefox mobile 142.0.1 and a Samsung A25.

My bookmarks in Firefox Android are not sorted as they are with my Firefox Linux and Firefox Windows. The problem started about 4 to 8 weeks ago.

What needs to happen to have Firefox Android sort my bookmarks the same way as my Firefox Linux and Firefox Windows, please?
