When I opened my Firefox browser my browsing history suddenly vanished. I noticed this when I saw that my recent activity was empty in my new tab I just opened. My bookmarks and tabs is still here. This glitch has happened twice now! Why does this glitch keep happening and Is there anyway I can get my browsing history back?

Since updating to 123.4 it frequently happens that I tap a link in a website and it loads about:blank and won’t stop doing that until I force quit Firefox and restart it

I have iOS 17 installed on my iPhone, Firefox as default browser and DuckDuckgo as search engine. However, when I select a text and in the context menu I choose "search in internet", it does the DuckDuckGo search in Safari. How can I change it?

App links suddenly stopped working. Links for YouTube or Reddit no longer open the app. When a site does offer to open an app, it just brings me to the App Store instead of opening the app that’s already installed. How can I fix this?

Recently on my older iPad (5th generation) whenever I do an image search and click on a highlighted image (any highlighted image) or the corresponding thumbnail link, doing so always and only results in a blank page. If however, I choose the option to open the image in a new tab, then and only then does the search go to the desired site. All the other search options seem to work fine.

I have cleared my caches and deleted my histories to no avail. Removing and reinstalling Firefox did not help. Rebooting didn’t do it either. Have I caught a malware that my antivirus protection has failed to detect? Is it a bug in the app?

I’m stumped.

Hello. I was told viaApp Store review to come here and describe my issue. So I was hoping to upload my video to better show off what I am having major issues with. Unfortunately I cannot. So I'll settle with uploading the screencaps of what I see Everytime I go to a different tab in my plethora of tabs open.

The best way I can describe it is that I jump around tabs when I focus in on one, even if it's brief. And it's annoying to find out where I left off Especially when I open a new tab in the background. No other browser does that and if they did, it's been long fixed already.

So starting from the Homepage, I scroll up a bit to open up the next screenshot of Otakon. Once I go back to the tab page, I jump to a different area entirely, the last tab no where to be found but still present. So I then scroll up more to the definition of 'ambition' and then go back to the tab page. Now I'm back to where the Otakon tab was at. It's just lots of that using the browser and it's annoying especially if I'm doing a little shopping.

Why does the app force me into a new tab every time I leave the app and come back!?! Even for a moment. It’s messed up two things I’ve been working on now. How do I set it to behave like a normal browser and open to the page I was on when I left..?

I have tried erasing my browser history, cookies, etc. from the history tab and also from inside settings. However, the history is still intact. Looking for some help, I think it may be a bug. Thanks

would like to raise my concern my curiosity regarding a recent issue I encountered. Specifically, I need to address how my IP details are being accessed, especially when using enhanced protection measures. Additionally, I am concerned about the privacy aspects of private browsing and whether unauthorized individuals can gain access to my user details legally.

I am not receiving my email. When I try to, I am told to enter password. Even when creating a new password, I continue to get the same request to enter my password. I don't know how to get out of this predicament. Need help!

On an iPhone, Firefox stores your browsing history within the app’s local storage, which is not directly accessible due to iOS’s security restrictions.

However, you can only export your ~FUTURE~ local mobile browsing history by using Firefox Sync.

Firefox Sync does not work retroactively for local mobile browsing history from past sessions due to the way the synchronization process is structured.

TL;DR: I want to export my local mobile browsing history as .txt or .csv -- When you enable Firefox Sync, it starts syncing the data from that point forward. However, my pre-existing local mobile browsing history cannot be exported as a file such as bookmarks can, and it cannot be saved to my desktop via Firefox Sync for the reasons above. Thus, it is literally only possible to scroll over it and open the sites one-by-one in order to pop them into the Sync-able history, which I do not want to do using iOS automation...

I am having an issue where my Firefox is displaying suggestions from sites I have visited only ever in private browsing mode. When I type a letter with this site, it appears as a “Firefox Suggested” search, not a Google search which I have already disabled. I have cleared my history, cleared my cache, reinstalled, done the same on all my devices, ensured I have no bookmarks or any remnants of the site visited, yet they remain visible on my phone. I am on Firefox for IOS, my IOS and Firefox are updated to the latest edition as of 04/11/2024. I am ensure what to do, as I really can’t allow this. Is there a way to turn this off, or is my only option to just switch back to Safari for the time being? Please let me know, as I need this turned off or to figure out how to clear this specific suggestion despite it being nowhere in my history, bookmarks, cache, downloads, or anywhere else.

Hi - I deleted & reinstalled Firefox focus for IOS because I was unable to email myself articles from FF. Now, every time I open an email on my Protonmail app, instead of it opening in Safari, it opens in FF (where I have Safari turned off). What have I done? (lol) And could you please help?

After entering a potential URL or just something you want to search within the default search you see the search suggestions.

However, every single time I try to scroll on my search suggestions, it suddenly hides the URL entering interface which includes all of the suggestions making it impossible to scroll through suggestions.

This seems to be related to an intended automatic keyboard hiding behavior, but instead the entire interface goes away and you’re left with the previous webpage you were on.
