I want to acess fundednext.com on my phone and laptop using firefox It says not secure I want to access it anyway.

In recent attempts to join a few webinars I am now getting more and more "TLS Errors." I have noticed that many of the solutions to this problem involve actions that do not solve the problem but create larger issues. Do you have a solution that works safely? I am forced to use Windows 7 unfortunately due to work systems and a long story. I think this is my primary problem but I have to keep using it until the bitter end with this PC.

I've been trying to connect to discord for a while, left it on for 2 hours and hasnt loaded. when i opened the console log, all it said was "Firefox can’t establish a connection to the server at wss://gateway.discord.gg/?encoding=json&v=9&compress=zlib-stream" all over. Please help.

Lest update to 15.9 all my extensions are now disabled. Missing Lastpass and Surfshark from my menu bar. Doesn't seem to be any way to Enable them from Extensions screen.

I reloaded Lastpass from their site and this is now working on my Menu bar.

But what happened to cause this

Comments on YouTube videos are no longer visible after Firefox version 115.10esr update. They do however work on my other computer which also has Firefox but not an esr version since it has a more current version of windows. I tried deleting all cookies and cache, starting in safe mode, disabling ad-blocking on YouTube but nothing worked. I'm thinking of rolling back to the previous update but would rather have this problem fixed.

All Add-ons are disabled and Firefox still can not play SOME of the videos on twitter. All I can see is a spinning circle on the center of the frame and the video will never be played. I tried other browsers and they all works well. It seems this issue has nothing to do with my network connection.

I searched this forum and find out some thread reporting issues of not playing All videos on youtube/twitter. Replies to these thread provided some solutions ,like update ffmpeg , set media related options in about:config. I tried them all and neither of them work for me.

With the update to 115.10.0esr my bookmarks that were on the left hand side of the screen are gone. When I look at bookmarks there are a few, but I had multiple folders for different subjects, I do not find. I would like to have the procedure to return my bookmarks back to the left hand side of the screen with all of my bookmarks, bookmark folders, and other bookmarks like it was prior to the update. This newest release has a massive memory leak. I know it's Firefox, because I look at the system monitor, and there are even more entries for firefox.com running than usual. The first one on the top of the list is the biggest resource hog, and the next one is second. All the rest have something going on, but smaller. Looking at performance in the Windows Task Manager, under performance, the memory usage goes up. Right now, it's 5.35Gb of 16Gb. At worst, several days ago, it was at 12Gb. When I force close Firefox, the memory and usage goes way, way down, to a usable level.

I wrote last night. "Ed" someone got back to me, didn't quote my message, and said he was from another department. I DID EXACTLY THE SAME THING AS LAST NIGHT. I hit the blue button, which took me here, and he advised me to do today, which brought me here, AGAIN.

If this, again, goes to "restoring access to Mozilla accounts and subscription services such as Mozilla VPN", please be professional and forward it to the right department, possibly with my message quoted, as this is the second time I'm creating it, and only have my memory on which to fall back for the first time. The logical topic is "Fix slowness, crashing, error messages, and other problems".

At the same time, other releases have had big memory leaks, and they seem to get patched quickly.

Hello. I suspect there was a cyber attack on April 1 2024. All of a sudden,having problems crashing with more than 1 browser. My Brave browser would open,and then crash with multiple tabs that had been saved. My Mozilla history was cleared,and I want it back because I need to find all sites I have visited from time to time for logins etc,but they are now gone.I have tried importing all of my Brave history,login forms to Firefox,but not sure where to located them or where they would be stored.

I have never had to deal with this sort of thing before so i am saying that i may be somewhat noobish on this.I just want some expert instruction on what to do here,and how to do it.I,m not 100 percent sure if i can do it correctly on my own by googling this myself,then attempting it.Brave continues to open then crash right after,so I dont know whats going on there with the userdata folder in the appdata folders with regard to Brave. Everytime i try to install an older version of Brave,it says i already have a curent version of it,and i dont want to uninstall brave then reinstall it again,or not sure if i should do this. Hey folks... I am running the latest ESR version for windows 7. I know, its limited support and stuff but I have this most annoying problem that just doesn't seem to want to go away.

Every day, several times a day, I am told there is an update available. I have gone in several times and downloaded and installed the latest release. The install goes fine, there are no issues. Yet, over and over again I am told there is an update... but I have the latest version installed.

In the past, I have used the "distribution" folder trick to stop updates and I have removed that a long time ago. I can't figure out why it keeps telling me there are updates, when there are none.

How can I stop this from doing updates where there are no updates to get? It's driving me nuts...

I want to use a command option to open a new blank tab in a specified portable instance of Firefox using a specified profile.

I constructed my command like this:

"Path-to-Firefox-executable" -profile "Path-to-Profile" -new-tab "about:blank"

It partially works (it opens the correct instance of Firefox and uses the correct specified profile) however it always opens about:newtab instead of about:blank.

Seeing as I am specifying the exact page to open, any New Tab settings in the browser should not matter, and I should just get the page that has been specified in the command.

If I manually type about:blank into the url bar, then a blank page opens as expected, so the url is correct, it just won't work for me as part of the above command line.

Does anybody else have this issue? How can I get this to work correctly?

I start Firefox from a batch file (Win7) on the first boot of the day. Manually I choose my "NEWS" bookmarks folder, then slide down to "Open all in tabs". (attached image) (Then I go pour a coffee while the news article tabs open and load data!)

Please and thank you, is there a way to specify this action from the command line? And if so, what is it?

I believe that I could use such a mechanism in other ways, such as opening all tabs in my "Forums" folder of bookmarks, or on Mondays, opening all tabs in my "Weekly" bookmarks folder.

I tryed Firefox 115.8.0esr and 115.9.0esr 32Bit on Windows 7. (78.15.0 works) Firefox crashes(the whole program, i mean no tab) on "about:support" or some pages on support.mozilla.org like https://support.mozilla.org/de/kb/firefox-leistungseinstellungen always reproduceable.

I disabled all Addons, i disabled this power optimizion setting, removed usercrome.css same. With Firefox savemode it dont crash. Spyware is blocked, means datareporting/telemetry/ping by disabling the options and empty the urls (like on FF 78 but it dont crash). Somewhere i read firefox can crash on a empty url, but i assume its fixed long time ago. A wrong, unreachable or empty url should not crash on well programming. Think about countrys that blocks urls, adblocker, pihole and so on. I dont remember about what url i read.

Does the savemode revert all about:config settings? What does support.mozilla ask the browser that causes the crash? It know it seems to identify the Browser, but usual its done by useragent and no "internal" communication.

Then FF always crash on ebay.de search if you scroll or change settings while the page is not ready. Spyware is too blocked by Hardware, ebay may wait for some ad? But thats already on FF78 but on 115 it seems more often, this was not with FF 52. But some sites including ebay stops to work with FF52/78 so no choice.
