I restarted my computer tonight and when I came back to Firefox, I found myself unable to right-click "Save As" images. I click "Save As" and then the window for me to select a file path / rename the file etc. just doesn't pop up at all.

I also notice that on a site with a "Save PNG" button that should also bring up this window, it also now does nothing.

I Refreshed Firefox through the "More troubleshooting options" and strangely this enabled me to save ONE image with a "Save As" right-click/button, but then trying a second time went back to no window popping up. I refreshed twice like this and both times only the first attempt would work before all others would be unresponsive.

I'm really enjoying tab groups, but there's a feature that seems broken. After restarting my browser, I'd like to reuse the groups I've previously created. It appears you've added a menu option for that: "Add Tab to Group" -> "Closed Group" Unfortunately, selecting that just closes the selected tab, rendering those closed groups permanently closed. I can go ahead and add my tab to a new group with the same name, but that creates a duplicate item under the "Closed Group" menu. After using the feature for a bit, I know how quite a long list of duplicate items under a totally useless "Close Group" submenu.

yahoo mail is asking me to enable javascript. It isn't recognising my email and tells me to use another device (which does work), but I want to use laptop. Why is it asking for java when it's already installed?

First off I have always used Firefox as my default browser... better than all the rest. For the last week I've been working on a project on ChatGPT and have multiple times dragged and dropped a screenshot directly into the chat until today... now it gives me a red warning label at the top that says that this browser does not support import of jpeg, png, heic... but I've been doing it all week. Has there a change? How do I keep doing this? And now it won't even allow me to add an image here.

Honestly, I don't know that "topic" best describes my situation. I am not a "techy" and should not be required to be a "techy" to be able to use Firefox and have it not create terrible problems for me.

Where did my favorites and extensions and homepage go? I clicked "refresh" since you, Firefox, RECOMMENDED THAT I CLICK "REFRESH," and

EVERYTHING IS GONE.

Where is EVERYTHING? I cannot get it back and do not have anything saved. I trusted you. There is no Firefox folder saved to my desktop. There is NOTHING. I have simply lost about 50 FAVORITES PAGES that I NEEDED.

This is disgusting and a betrayal. Firefox? Never again.

Getting around 20ms for DNS lookups so thats not the issue. Why do I see Error Code: NS_ERROR_OFFLINE maybe once every several days when this Firefox has never been in offline mode and never will be? Env is MacOS 26.5.2 with current Firefox installed.

I just signed up for the annual VPN coverage. I've signed in and have selected an area of the world to have my ip address associated. However, I now am in a loop.

I click the VPN logo on the top right of Firefox, I'm told to "Get started" by logging in.

I click "get started" and am told I've successfully already logged in.

I'm then told to click the "Turn VPN on" switch at the VPN logo.

I click the VPN logo and am told to log on, again. And again and again...

I've restared Firefox. I've restarted my Mac. Same thing again and again

Help?

I have Firefox 157 with multiple profiles. OS is Mac Tahoe 26.6.

I am unable to save images on some profiles. Clicking Save Image As does nothing. Attempting to change the Downloads directory also does nothing.

On my default profile, it also has intermittent issues with saving. Currently it works most of the time and the Downloads directoy is able to be changed.

What is the problem?
