Tried to update Firefox. Got the message: your updates are being managed by your organization. I'm a home user. No organization. What is the problem? Thank you in advance.

I am using Firefox on gnome desktop on the PureOS variant of Debian. About three days ago, I went to listen to my Spotify playlist on Firefox, not through the Spotify app. I had no sound, checked my system settings and turned the volume for Firefox from zero back up to normal. The rest of the song played, but when the next song came on, again no sound. I watched the sound settings and when the song finishes, Firefox disappears from the sound settings list. When the next song starts, Firefox is back in the list but volume is set back to zero. I suspect this may be something in gnome, but I thought I would check here in case anyone else is seeing this issue. Thanks so much for any help or at least a shoulder to cry on :D

Running Surfshark on Windows 10 or 11 and Unbuntu 24.04. Some sites and attachments giving error failures. Happening with Firefox and Edge. Need troubleshoot source.

Support Firefox to be able to use different tab view modes on different windows! For example, two Firefox windows on different monitors, in my situation below:

- One on a 1920*1080 hori screen, with vertical tab sidebar disabled - One on a 1080*1920 vert screen, with vertical tab sidebar enabled for this window only in this case.

It brings much more convenience, at least for situations just like mine :)

Since the latest version (152.0), right clicking on a file link, select Save As... and with the popup with the filename and saving location being OK just hitting <Enter> doesn't do anything anymore. I now have to specifically click the "Save" button (or use <Alt>+S) to get my file saved. This is highly annoying as my muscle memory gets in the way all the time. Please get the original behavior back. Just found out the same behavior is with file upload.

I am using Firefox on Ubuntu Linux. When I open WhatsApp Web, it does not work correctly. The page may not load properly or login does not complete. I have tried refreshing the page, clearing cache and cookies, and restarting Firefox, but the issue remains. Please help me troubleshoot this problem.

I was finally forced to update my Firefox to the released version. I am increasingly unable to log in to various "secure" websites with Firefox 140...1 although Chrome 106 (old, but can't update) has no problem. There are also a number of captchas that are simply invisible to firefox. Why is this happening?

A long time ago I was able to set the max number of rows for shortcuts on the Firefox home page to 5. Sometime fairly recently it has changed to 4. I don't know why nor can I remember which line in about;config I used to change it. I think the line was "browser.newtabpage.activity-stream.topSitesRows" but when I try to change it, it does nothing. At the time I first changed it, the max it would change to was 5. The max now appears to be 4 if I did it correctly. Your help would be appreciated.

When filling in the PDF documents, at each section/line I move too, the font reverts back to the super large size, without being prompted too. Is there a way to set the font, so it remains the same, unless prompted? When attempting to adjust the font, it goes from super large to super small, any suggestions to set the font in between these two sizes?
