After FTP upload, jpg images are displayed rotated in FireFox-Browser (111.0.1 - 32-Bit). In IE looks OK. The website is built with dreamweaver 8.0. What can I do?

I am lost. The articles in Mozilla Support explaining how to backup and migrate my current account , after reading them, just gave me a headache. Can someone explain (in plain english) please, how I can save my passwords, bookmarks and cookies that Firefox has associated with my 8 year old Win 10 Pro desktop so I can transfer that data to a new Win 11 Pro desktop. I recently noticed in Firefox Settings the statement --- "Your browser is being managed by Your organization".

When I clicked on that statement and printed off the information, that information was apparently about "Enterprise Policies", the management is "Active", the Policy Name is "certificates", the Policy Value is "ImportEnterpriseRoots", and then it is "true". I do not understand the message that is being shared here. Does Firefox understand it? If Firefox does understand it, would you mind sharing your understanding with me?

What is "ImportEnterpriseRoots"? What is its function? Concerning the statement, "Your browser is being managed by Your organization", what is meant by the words, "Your organization" and what is meant by the word, "managed".

To rid myself of "ImportEnterpriseRoots", will I need to rid myself of Firefox?

For the past week or two I have been getting these annoying pop ups with the Mozilla Firebox emblem demanding that I download the Mcafee and scan my computer for viruses. I don't want to have anything to do with Mcafee or download ANYTHING from them. What's going on? How do I fix this?

Regarding the extensions drop down menu, how does one re-arrange (and possibly hide) these extensions that are not pinned to the toolbar? I know how that to rearrange the extensions pinned to the toolbar: one has to go to "Customized Toolbar" and drag and drop. But I can't find information on how to re-arrange these other extensions. When I try to log in to tradestation.com, I get a 403 Forbidden message. I have gone to Settings - Clear all History, and checked all the History and Data boxes, and clicked OK. Also, I only use Private browsing, which is set to remove all history, caches, etc. whenever I close Firefox. I have been logging in to tradestation 4 or 5 days a week for months, until today. Please help fix this.

I have Adblocker Ultimate as an add-on. But I can't seem to put it in my toolbar. I have searched the internet to resolve this problem and nothing worked. It is listed in my Add-ons manager but I can't get it to show up in any bookmarks or the toolbar. It does work but I can't find it anywhere.

I have physical limitations and need to use middle mouse button to scroll.

However, in Firefox, middle mouse button to scroll is interrupted whenever the mouse hovers over a hyperlink or linked object -- and, fun fact, there are A LOT of links on the Internet, so this equates to a very janky and sub-optimum experience, in my personal use-case.

How can I make it so that the middle mouse button functionality is not hijacked by mouse-over context? I've already tried/disabled middle-mouse-button-click-to-open-link-in-new-tab.

I subscribe to a website called flat.io. It's a site where I can enter music notation and get playback through emulated instruments.

I want to connect my Yamaha MX88 music keyboard directly to flat.io in order to have the site software record my music keyboard keystrokes instead of entering music notes by hand. flat.io tells that you are compatible, but I need to change settings to allow midi.

I am able to scan a QR, but when I try to enter the OTP codes that show up, I receive the following message "Incorrect two-step authentication code". This has happened with Raivo and Authy (the previous 2FA app). What is causing this?

I just started working from home for a UK branch of an USA company. My work involves having to use VPN to their USA head office. It all works fine. My location is obviously incorrect showing that my computer is located in the USA in their home city. I understand that.

It causes me problems with Google Search because it always show me USA based results, not UK based results. I need to be able to force Google to show me results from the UK. No, going to www.google.co.uk doesn't work, it still shows me the USA biased results.

To a lesser extent, it causes me problems with Google Maps as it keep on searching the wrong areas and returning the wrong results/directions.

I understand the VPN is causing the location issue, I am not disputing that. I am asking how to make Firefox show Google my actual location, please? I'd much prefer to avoid browser extensions. I tried changing "geo.provider.network.url" in "about:config". https://browserleaks.com/geo shows the fixed location, i.e., the location I put in. However, Google isn't fooled by this and still show me the wrong location in the USA.

Any way to force Google to show me the correct location, please? Many thanks.

I use a PIN for my Microsoft laptop and I have forgotten my Microsoft account password. I don't want to change the password as my PC back-ups using Paragon software "might" be tied to my current pin and password.

If I log into my Microsoft account with Firefox, I am prompted for an email address. After entering my address the password is automatically entered by Firefox. Great.

But the login details are not stored under Firefox - Paswords. There is no Microsoft entry in Passwords.

Where might the password it be stored?

Beginning with 111 when I start I get 'glxtest: failed to read data from glxtest, we may fall back to software rendering.' It works. I don't know that anything bad is happening.

This all started when i wanted to use a user.js file for firefox.

I followed a youtube video to create a new profile to use the user script but I wanted to change the directory so I deleted it, made it anew and somehow the default profile file that i used was gone (I realised this only later). I think I had somehow overwritten it, but its weird because in my trashbin i did not find anything.

When asking me to login to sync I gave my password but it said it was wrong i realised I was using a vpn so i turned it off and then it worked, however then it asked me for a confirmation code from my email wich I also gave but it still refused saying it was wrong, which it wasn't!

After that I gave up and made a backup of my profiles and resetted my password still thinking I had my old profile file. My logins were gone and copying and pasting the login.json with the key4.db files from other profiles didnt give them back.

Luckily am still logged into my mobile app where i have my logins but there is now a warning sign to reconnect to resume syncronizing and Im afraid if i reconnect its going to delete my saved logins on the app instead of using them.

What do i do now? Is there a way to export all my data from the mobile app? Do I need to copy my logins one for one? Or can everything be resolved by reconnecting?

Firefox always brings up the saved password for a particular website, but the password is old and wrong. Going to the Logins and Passwords management page, I enter a search for the website as it appears in the address bar, but there is no associated login in Firefox. There is no password associated with any part of the website's name or URL in 'about:logins' . Yet still some password shows up with a saved login. How do I find the password for this website and correct the password?
