I found a charge of $28.50 on my credit card from Saint Gervais Sur Mar with something to do with DownloadHelper. I do not remember that charge and believed it was free. How can I cancel any subscription and get money back?

What's the deal with Firefox not allowing people to be able to use Chrome extensions like some other browsers do? I have a password manager that has a Chrome extension, but Firefox does NOT have an extension for it.

Whenever i start typing a "g" in the address bar, Google is recommended first. I would prefer for it to be something i commonly search for starting with g, but I can't seem to remove it. Using the usual shift+del doesn't remove it for some reason.

I've gone down a rabbit hole of authentication in regards to Sync with Firefox. I'm wondering if I can regenerate a recovery key by removing the recovery key from my account and then choosing to re-enable a recovery key on my account? I do have the password for my primary email on my account, but I can't find the recovery key value for it.

I also have a secondary email on my account that I don't have a password for, and need to reset a password for it, but one problem at a time...

Running FF 107.0.1 on Mac 10.15.7 and there is unexpected padding around each website I visit. I've disabled all browser extensions. I'm using the default theme. I've tried restarting Firefox. I've tried restarting the computer but the issues seems to persist. I do not see the same rendering behavior when loading these websites on Google Chrome. I'm including screenshots of what I'm seeing.

Firefox not loading and missing VCRUNTIME140_1.dll preventing re-installation. Full message is: 'The code execution cannot proceed because VCRUNTIME140_1.dll was not found. Reinstalling the program may fix this problem.' Tried to install an old version of Firefox (28.0) but this is not upgradeable.

Hi, my google ads don't display correctly in google searches - can anyone help please? Mac M1 / Latest Firefox

Formatting is fine for the first second after the search, then chanegs and text displays over the images in the ades and is unreadble, unless I hover my moude over the ad.

I cannot save my credit card number in Firefox, in Settings I don't even have the option to save them and the directions in the Firefox help don't work. #2 below there is no Forms and Autofill section in the settings let alone a credit card option.

1. Click the menu button Button and select Settings.
2. Click the Privacy & Security panel and scroll down to the Forms and Autofill section.
3. Click the checkbox next to Autofill credit cards to turn it on, or uncheck the box to turn it off.

Any help to what's going on would be great.

I am using Firefox 107 and have seen this issue with previous versions. My laptop is a MSI GS76 Stealth with the core i9 11900H / UHD graphcs, and a RTX3070 8g GDDR6 which can be run in mshybrid mode. When in mshybrid mode and Firefox hardware acceleration enabled, I have seen issues where scrolling in Facebook causes resets of the feed and / or the screen will became 'fuzzy' like the refresh rate is off. If i close the lid and open, the screen resets back to normal. Once I switch to full fledged RTX3070 support or disable the hardware acceleration in Firefox the problem stops. I have not noticed this issue with Microsoft edge or Google chrome. Has anyone else seen this behavior?

I have the notification setting set to block all requests for website notifications.

NOTE: I recently had to reset FF due to the installation being corrupted during the install of an upgrade. I believe I have restored most of my settings on topics like access to microphones, push-notification requests, and the like, but I may have missed something relative to this. (When I first shut down all requests for push notifications, I believe it was still required to do so via about:config.)

Hyperlinks (URLs) do not open anymore in Firefox, but do so in other browsers. I have tried many really complicated suggestions and cannot make it work. I am ready to give up.

A msg. suddenly appeared at the top of my ff general settings page saying "your organization is managing your browser". Upon clicking on it it appears that Chrome has taken over most of my ff settings and disabled some of them. I have NO organization; I am retired and have a personal computer that only I use for personal things. I have run numerous anti malware programs that have found nothing. I have restored the computer to a much earlier time. I chose Firefox, NOT Chrome. Please help me get rid of this. And please don't assume I have knowledge as I am old and not very computer literate so if you could use simple terms I can understand that would be much appreciated. I have 3 PCs with Firefox. The bookmarks and bookmarks toolbars were all synced but one machine required re-installation, and now I have a fresh Firefox and have forgotten how to import the bookmarks and bookmarks toolbars. I don't seem to have any password for Firefox sync and I can't find where and how to import the bookmarks. Can anyone help?

The process to change email address requires a verification be sent to old email. That account is not active so no verification can be received. How can I change my email from the dead ([edited] @cox.net) to the new email ([edited] @mailfence.com)?

How do I stop websites from auto playing videos that I don't click on? Don't remember this being a problem before the latest updates. Getting tired of wasting my limited, paid for, data.
