Last week Adobe Flash stopped actuating/working with Firefox and there is no black box in the address bar or any place else that I see that asks me to activate it. I have it set as Always Activate on the Plug-Ins page but that isn't helping. I checked and have the most recent version. I had to go through several steps to activate it but it does work in Chrome. I run Win 7 and Firefox is my default browser. Please advise how I can get Flash to work again as it is hampering a lot of my activity on the web. Thank you.

...Pretty much exactly like the title says. I checked the plugin checker after updating to Firefox 30 to see if there was anything that needed updating. Of course, there was: Shockwave and "Adobe Acrobat NPAPI Plug-in".
While I was able to get Shockwave up to date just fine, the Adobe Acrobat NPAPI Plug-in is presenting some trouble. As in, when I click "Update Now", instead of redirecting to an update page, it redirects right back to the Plugin Check page.
Where can I go to update this plugin? Does it need to be updated? Is this a glitch in the checker, and therefore I don't need to do anything?

I'm using Firefox ESR 52.9 because it is the latest version that the Pocket extension still works with. It just suddenly (without any updates or warning) disabled the AdBlock Plus, Roboform, and Google Shortcuts extensions (all of which were working perfectly fine yesterday) because "they cannot be verified." and it isn't giving me the option to re-enable them.
The info at https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/add-ons-disabled-or-fail-to-install-firefox?redirectlocale=en-US&redirectslug=add-ons-failing-install-firefox and https://blog.mozilla.org/addons/2019/05/04/update-regarding-add-ons-in-firefox/ is not helpful because the verison of Firefox I have doesn't show the studies option that is referenced there.
And an update that is to Firefox ESR 53 or later also isn't useful because then my old Pocket extension won't work (and that extension is KEY for me). Please provide an immediate fix for Firefox ESR 52.9.

The Firefox plugin checker is reporting "vulnerable - Update Now" for my Java Deployment Toolkit 7.0.510.13. and Java(TM) Platform SE 7 U51 plugins.
The 'update now' link takes me to the Java download page which invites me to download the latest Plugin 7.51. but i already have 7.51 installed so the plugin checker is incorrectly displaying "vulnerable - Update Now". I have had 7.51 installed since January 17th and run the plugin checker on a weekly basis so i'm not sure why it has suddenly decided that this is a vulnerable plugin.

Until today the options for stopping videos auto playing worked OK, suddenly they don't work at all. I had changed all the settings in about:config - please see screen shot attached - a couple of weeks ago when they suddenly started auto playing and that solved the issue, but now I am back to square one. Even when I have ensured that the autoplay option is changed in the preferences section they are still auto-playing. Any suggestions please as this is driving me crazy!

After installing v65, when I go to the addons menu, no items are showing. Evidence exist they are there 1/ I have addons working quite well with this version, I tried a new theme which after a few re-starts, eventually took hold 2/ when I do open add ons menu, there is evidence that there is a list there, but they are only place holders. My mouse shows a blue line around the entire field, but absolutely nothing inside... like a white out. So I can't uninstall themes, even though I have installed a trial one... nothing at all appears. HELP!

I'm running Adobe Acrobat 8. I'm happy with it. Firefox has a new feature that automatically disables the PDF plugin unless it's clicked. It's called the "Click to Play" feature. Even when disabled, it's not really disabled: it activates itself for "vulnerable plugins." Though there is an option to make a website trusted for plugins, there is seemingly no way to make the PLUGIN ITSELF trusted. As a result, every time I get a PDF, I have to Click to Play.
Question: How do I truly disable this stupid new feature?
There is the following support article that explains this new system, and that the only solution is trust a website, but apparently can't disable the feature or trust the plugin:

I am a computer dummy. Firefox is installed in our Windows 8 computer as our browser. Whenever we use it, a very annoying thing called Default Fire Fox Developer tools comes up at the bottom and takes up half our screen. Sometime it lets me hit esc. to close it but then it just pops back up. We use our computer for the net, e mail and social media alongside learning sites for our kids. How can I get rid of this thing? Please help me and explain it like I am 6 .

On two different profiles, the Customize option simply isn't working. I see three different places on the GUI to click on Customize, and none works. Nothing happens when I click on them, beyond the letters "Customize" appearing at the top of a tab.
After appearing earlier this evening, the LastPass icon is also failing to appear on both profiles.

I need to deploy a customized configuration for a limited access network, and have created a custom mozilla.cfg file. It appears as though mozilla.cfg is not being read. I have intentionally created errors in the local-settings.js file, and it will throw errors (even when it cannot find the mozilla.cfg file). When I create errors in the mozilla.cfg file, however, no errors are thrown and no changes are made to the applications configuration.
