Firefox will not allow my to post comments on Yahoo. I have no issues with Chrome or Safari. I get the following error message: Your comment failed to publish. Retry

On a couple of sites (e.g. Petapixel) when I click "Load Comments", nothing happens. I suspect this may be because Firefox security is preventing comments from loading because of site tracking or other security issues. Is this the cause?

Hi, my proxy configuration settings got selected to No proxy and I'm unable to update it to auto proxy/manual proxy configuration settings as you can see in the below image, the pop got disabled and unable to select other options.

Steps to replicate 1.open fire fox browser 2.click on settings 3.select general >> Network settings 4.Click on settings

Actual result: unable to edit the proxy configuration settings got selected to no proxy and editing is disabled

Expected result: should allow user to select the below configuration options i. Auto detect proxy settings for this network ii.use system proxy settings iii.Manual proxy configuration

Today I installed a new extension (Bitwarden) and want to add the icon to the toolbar. I can't find it anywhere. The add-on shows up in the add-on manager but there's nothing there to help me add the icon. The little puzzle piece in the upper right of the browser -- click on that and Bitwarden isn't listed.

How do I fix this? In Chrome there's a simple toggle switch in the extension manager to add the icon to the toolbar. Frankly, if I can't get this Bitwarden icon to display I can't use Firefox at all. Thanks.

This started a few weeks ago. I thought it might have been because I synced the passwords with other devices. I reverted it back.

When in about:logins, I click on the log in button but nothing happens.

I've noticed lately that my Firefox keeps freezing and hanging up at random periods for no apparent reason. I have very few plugins and it even happens with them all disabled and removed. I've tried resetting Firefox to default everything yet it makes no difference.

Also I can not clear history. I've tried multiple different clear history plugins but none of them work at all. And when I try the traditional way of clearing Firefox history the window pops up and then the entire browser just freezes while 'clearing' and never gives me back control, I have to force quit and restart to regain control. And then when I relaunch the history is still not cleared!

So aside from the constant lagging and lockups it seems that any attempt to delete history whether using the inbuilt function or adding plugins messes up the whole browser.

Googling this issue it seems others are having the exact same problem with Firefox and yet any suggested solutions (reset browser) don't seem to be working for may of them.. Or me.

Why can't Firefox copy text to the clipboard anymore? It won't copy text from a web page, from a URL, or even from about:support "Copy text to clipboard"!!! I'm using version 1.22 64 bit on windows 11. I've reinstalled Firefox but it doesn't make a difference. I've tried "Troubleshoot Mode" and it's still broken!!!

I can paste into Firefox but something has broken copy!

Recently reinstalled Firefox for Windows on a new PC, and have since been having issues with audio playing on only Twitter. I have tried reinstalling my sound drivers, clearing the browser history and cache, clearing Twitter's cache, reinstalling Firefox, disabling all my extensions and nothing has worked. Any help at all would be appreciated.

It is ONLY Twitter, and it works on all other browsers.

I like to keep my browser windows slightly smaller than my desktop. I usually leave about a half inch or so free on each side. This way, I still have easy access to any desktop shortcut that is alone the top/bottom, or left right of the screen, without having to minimize my browser windows completely to see the entire desktop. But for some reason, for the last several Firefox versions, it will always resize its height to take up the entire height of the desktop. The width stays the same, the way I want it. But the height is always from the top of the screen all the way down to the task bar. I don't know if it happens every single time I close out of Firefox and reopen, but I know my manual resizing never lasts long. what is happening here?

I often see a Shortcut on my New Tab that I have never gone to, which says "sponsored" on it. I do not want these ads. I have looked up the answer: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/sponsor-privacy?as=u&utm_source=inproduct I can manually delete a sponsored shortcut once, but this does not stop them from coming onto future New Tabs. My problem is, the long-term answer simply does not work. Settings -> Home -> Firefox Home Content simply does not contain a section that says "Sponsored shortcuts" and therefore this solution is not accessable. I am on Version 120 as suggested. What is going wrong? How do I prevent these ads from appearing on the New Tab page?

What has happened to all of my Task Bar / Tool Bar? As of today, Sunday Nov. 26th, everything is gone. In addition the browser itself looks "different" some how.

After the latest updates the drm protection prevents any streaming of hbo or prime video content to discord. Is this just a mistake from mozilla's side or did 2 streaming sites decide on same week to start ruining their service for paying customers?

It has reinstalled all my other extentions, but hasn't my password manager for some reason. Or at least I can't find it. I also can't remember the name of it, and so don't know what to search to download it again. Is there a way to see historic extentions or something?

I have an issue with the address bar in private windows. Normally when you click on the search bar in the new tab page, it will redirect the cursor to the address bar instead of letting you use the search bar.

I found the following solution on the forum here that works for normal windows: go to the about:config page and set browser.newtabpage.activity-stream.improvesearch.handoffToAwesomebar to false.

For private windows, this fix does not work. It will still go to the address bar instead of letting you use the search bar. Is there another way for me to fix this so that it will also work in private windows?

I deleted some emails on the weekend by mistake so I went into trash to retrieve them but couldn't find them. I checked again this morning and they are still not there. Please help Thank you, Basma Brown

On https://careers.usmc-mccs.org/psc/hprd/EMPLOYEE/HRMS/c/HRS_HRAM_FL.HRS_CG_SEARCH_FL.GBL?Page=HRS_CAREERS_FL&Action=U when I log in and go to my page, Firefox will not allow me to scroll and see all of the information whereas Chrome and Edge does. I am not sure if there is a setting incorrect in Firefox or it is blocking an area from scrolling. I added a copy of the screenshots below from Edge and Firefox.
