'On my firefox browser, the bookmark toolbar disappeared and wans moved from the left margin. How do I get it back to the left margin and auto open on every tab?'

When opening History the column headers are there but no dates are shown in the Added and Last Modified columns. These columns are selected in Views and the listed web pages appear to be correctly sorted into Added date order. My browser is up to date an is 100.0.2 64 bit. Thanks

I changed approx 15 passwords in Chrome and I would like to import then into FF. I already have the old logins/passwords in FF. If I import them from Chrome will I end up with double entries or with they be over written with the updated passwords?

I see no way of doing this. You'd think there would be an ADD option somewhere in the search engine page. Instead it takes me to the Add-Ons page. https://addons.mozilla.org/en-CA/firefox/extensions/category/search-tools/ What has this got to do with adding a search engine to the browser? Must be a mistake.

When accessing my Google Drive on Firefox and opening a shared folder containing picture files, the files can only be downloaded, not previewed. This is the case for heic files (I am working on a PC; files were uploaded from an iPhone) and jpg files. The latter can be opened in Google Docs; the former can only be viewed using an outside app. In both cases, the files must be viewed outside the drive. The file previews appear (both on the icons and if the files are double clicked) when opened in Microsoft Edge.

My system disk failed, so I had to restore it from pretty old backup, with old Firefox version installed and old profile data. Now I want to start Firefox and reopen all my recent tabs from Firefox Sync, but not from my local (old) profile. How should I proceed?

Clicking the back button does not usually take me back to Google search results. When I do a Google search and click on one of the resulting links, it's often (but not always, oddly enough) as if I've opened the link in a new tab with no browsing history. I can continue to click on links and build the tab's history, but the oldest url in the tab history is the one I got to after the Google search results page. To get to the Google page, I have to open my full browsing history.

If it's just my problem, I'll just keep doing that, but I appreciate any ideas. Maybe it's how Google redirects? Is there a setting that could affect this? Some of my settings are inherited from Ubuntu Studio.

Hi So I had an old PC which somone wanted to use, I forgot that I was logged in on the fireforx browser so I deleted all the cookies, browser history and saved password, however forgot it was on my account so when I started using my PC today...passwords where not showing up and realised I deted them all and its now synced acoss all my devices...

Can I restore all the password?

i have re-install new windows and download fresh firefox and sign-in when i sync my account i didn't find any data (passwords , bookmarks , history , etc ... ) i found my firefox account as new

When I watch a video, mostly in Netflix, and go to the fullscreen mode, I see a url line on the bottom left corner of my screen. It doesn't go away when I click the screen. When I try to click over it it switches to the right bottom corner, which I find quite frustrating. Whenever, this happens I should refresh the page and hope that it solves my problem and most of the times it does. However, I still would be quite happy if I figured out what caused this problem and if there is anything I can do it to fix it for good.

Firefox version: 100.0.2 (64-Bit) Windows Version: Windows 11 Pro 21H2.

Our printers are added from a print server. FireFox is showing the full printer server path as the printer name. This is not good. Why is this happening? I have tried clearing the printer settings and re-adding the printers but this did not fix the issue.

In the last few days, whenever I visit certain websites, the web page opens without problems however it seems to download an empty (0K) HTML file which is starting to clog my downloads folder with HTML files. Cannot seem to find any reason for it.

I cannot install English GB dictionary for my spell checker. When I click add dictionaries it takes me to a page where I can select Englsih GB as one of the dictionaries available in my locale. It then takes me to the info and remove page for the dictionary but there is no option to install and no pop up to start the download appears.

I am using Firefox to interact with Babbel language software. I cannot get Firefox to allow me to use my standalone microphone. I tried all the Firefox recommended fixes, but I cannot make them work. I go to the "Microphone" permission setting. There is nothing listed there and it will "not" allow me to add the Babbel website? What do I need to do to allow my microphone to work with Babbel?

Please turn off the download drop down menu that appears every time I do a download...if you cant do that then give your users the option of turning it off or on...

My shortcut display had frequently visited websites shown and these have been replaced by several sponsored shortcuts I am not interested in. Plus, my saved user names and passwords are not loading even though they are still stored. I don't understand what happened, why these have changed, or how to restore what I previously had on shortcuts. I am not a tech savvy person and am stumped and looking for help

Every time I turn on my computer Firefox wont open until I open Chrome at leats once, after I open Chrone I have no problem I can close it and continue to work in Firefox, but it is still a weird problem, I have also uninstall and reinstall Firefox several times but it doesnt fix the problem.

When typing comments on YouTube videos, pressing the spacebar, does not work. In order to achieve space, I need to hold the "Shift" key while pressing the spacebar.

When typing the comment, if I only hit the spacebar, a blue line surrounds the area where the text is being typed. See attached screenshot.
