Hi,

There many extensions such as:

https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/search-on-imdb-context-menu/ that say when trying to install:

Installation aborted because the add-on appears to be corrupt.

I am using Firefox Developper Edition, with extensions.langpacks.signatures.required set to false.

This addon, after download, installs fine as a temporary addon.

How can I install it permanently?

First, I am disabled

When I goto to YT Homepage it will play all the sounds of the downloaded video's when I hover with the mouse.

But I want to hear the sound of that video AFTER I selected that Video or clicked on the title.

The 125.0.2 update broke Amazon Prime Video. Firefox refuses to play ANY video, causes website to return a "That shouldn't have happened" error page. Prime Video plays just fine on Safari 16.6.1, macOS 11.7.10. Amazon says just to use Safari, but I want Firefox to work right.

Whenever I get a link whether in an email from a verified sender or from using a site like Amazon, clicking on a link always results in "Hmm. We’re having trouble finding that site." This has happened ever since loading the most recent version of Firefox (124.0.2) and it is very, very frustrating. What is causing this? Even in "safe" mode this occurs. Please rectify this situation. I do not want to have to change browsers after more than 20 years with Firefox.

I've been having problems with some websites not displaying content, others displaying error messages. So have been going through the Troubleshooting Mode and diagnostic process.

The cause is the MS CoPilot extension for Firefox.

Useful in other ways as I discovered several other extensions I don't need, hence have remained disabled.

On the page listing passwords, it was possible to sort them by "Alerts".

In settings, there is an option to enable checking the vulnerable passwords: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/firefox-password-manager-alerts-breached-websites

On my other laptop using Firefox v121, the alerts are properly displayed. But on my second laptop using Firefox v124, the alerts are gone. I can't sort password by "Alerts", the option isn't there. Both laptops share the same Firefox account and have password synchronized between each other.

Obviously, I ticked the "Show alerts about passwords for breached websites" box in the settings but it looks like it does not nothing. I also checked in "about:config" and everything seems good.

Is this feature gone?

Hi, I did a clean install from win10 to win11, then installed firefox and logged in to my account but it havent synced anything? All my saved passwords and bookmarks are gone!?

Can someone please help me get them back! Does anyone have a solution for this?

Read something about that a backup is saved on your computer? Isnt saved to a cloud? Thats what a thought! I have done a clean install on a new drive, old drive i already wiped aswell! Doesnt have a windows.old dir or anything.

Please tell me everything isnt lost!

I don't want to be able to scroll the page by selecting text. That's what the scroll wheel is for. More often than not this 'feature' just results in frustration as scrolling the page selects more text. Can I just disable this altogether somehow?

I am unable to get printing to work correctly using Firefox with Epson POS TM-T20 thermal printers we have a work.

We're currently running Firefox on Debian 12. I've tried both the ESR version that comes with the Debian repository and the latest Firefox as a flatpak.

When printing to the receipt printer, the only thing that is printed is the left-hand most part of the logo and a little part of the text and this occurs towards the right-hand side of the paper. I've changing all of the settings, resetting the settings for the print in about:config, but nothing seems to work.

I'd love to get this working so that staff could use Firefox. I'm attaching an image of what the print job looks like and a screenshot of what the print-preview shows.

I can open the Chase bank site, but cannot log into my account. I can log into my Chase account using Edge. This may have happened after the most recent update to Firefox. Any ideas how to fix this?

I encountered a phenomenon like this:

• When I logged in to the application, in the tab I was working on, the Firefox session memory was lost (don't open new tabs)

What is the cause of this phenomenon? How can I fix it?

Hello, I'm using samsung odyssey g7 32' monitor connected to my laptop with a rtx 2060. The monitor is connected with a minidisplay port to display port cable. The problem doesn't occur on the laptop screen but it does on the samsung screen. The flickering stops when i make the window a little smaller. I am using KDE plasma 6.0.3 but the problem was also present when i was using Hyprland as my desktop enviroment. I tried troubleshoot mode but nothing changed. I am seeking help. Thanks.

latest 124.0.2 causing severe problems, it will near instantly bloat to fill all RAM and SWAP even in safe mode causes system load over 24! only solution is to reboot very problematic on for ex: https://epg.pw/xmltv/epg_CA.xml hard to get a screencap since system is nearly totally unresponsive. RAM is ok SSD is ok MX Linux is ok
