I travel for work and often stay at IHG properties (Holiday Inn, etc.). I have Firefox as my default browser; version 99.0. I cannot login to their wifi using Firefox; I have to copy the address and paste it into Google Chrome and after confirming my information I am able to browse normally until the next day; It must reset at some point.

I read this article about Captive portal detection: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1314194 I change the setting per the article hoping it would take care of my concern but it did not.

hi, does any one know how to make a short cut for the web on windows desktop. As chrome and Microsoft edge do?

Firefox only shows a black box when i try to run an embedded video. It works fine on other browsers, specifically Microsoft Edge. I ran it in troubleshooting mode which fixed the problem temporarily but reoccurs when computer is off and then turned on.

When I try to log into chase.com, I'm told my (FireFox) browser is out of date, but I am running the latest version. What can I do?

Hi, I am trying to save my most important Bookmarks as Shortcuts in Firefox Homepage, but Firefox is not showing the icons of the shortcuts, instead it is showing as Letters of the site. Please refer the image that I have attached. Incase if the image in the attachment fails, use this link Do note that the icons in bookmarks bar are showing fine, but the problem is only in Homepage shortcuts. I've noticed there is a "verified by Amazon" icon in my address bar next to the FF shield. How did it get there, can, or should, I remove it and how. I don't trust anything Amazon does, so if possible I would like it to be gone.

When i open up https://login.comptia.org i can see the website and it loads then it prompts me to login, but when i click the login button the website goes blank and turns all white and i refresh the website and it stays white. I have cleared all cookies and cache, and i have also refreshed firefox.

On Firefox for Windows (on Windows 11 release 99.0.1), the first setting in Settings is "Open previous windows and tabs". This is incorrect. It doesn't do this. When checked, upon startup, it will restore one window, its tabs, & maybe its sessions (?), and it will send all the other Windows & their tabs to the bit bucket.

Users: KNOW & HEED this warning! Team: Please take what you've already done for that window and merely do it also for the rest of them? In the mean time, please change the wording to something like "Open one of the windows and its tabs". Ideally, identify which window has been chosen for this.

the downloads icon in toolbar (the one that says, "Display the progress of ongoing downloads" when hovering cursor over it) keeps randomly opening and showing me the files that have downloaded as if i clicked on it. my cursor is nowhere near the icon, so no accidental clicking on it. and it seems to happen when I'm not touching the keyboard, mouse or trackpad. it just pops open. and there are not current downloads--just a list of files that have already been downloaded. odd...

I want to be able to preview pdfs in firefox in a new tab without first downloading the file like it used to. But this version (99) of firefox won't allow me to do that. I tried selecting the "action" for pdfs in the applications section of settings to "open in firefox". What it does is preview the pdfs without downloading indeed but it previews it in the SAME tab which makes browsing more difficult. If I select "always ask", and then select "open with firefox" in the dialogue box, it opens the pdf to a new tab alright but it downloads the file FIRST. Is there a way around this please?

Look I have memory issues I already have to change my password & now I just got a recovery key as long as my arm. Hi, I've been a Firefox user for many years and don't have the slidest idea of what password I used to setup the account. I read in the Firefox documentation that I could loose all my information if I change my email but that's exactly what I need to do. I currently use gmail and have switched to Outlook. I had to sign up for a Firefox Account in order to sign up for Pocket. I have questions about what Firefox Account is, how Mozilla uses it, etc. Is this a service like Google Account? Is Mozilla tracking my interactions across all of the products I use because I am "signed in" to Firefox, the way Google does?

My laptop had to do a restart and I have about 10 pinned tabs and I went to open firefox and they are all gone. I've tried to do the restore session but they aren't popping back up. How do I get them back???
