Hi there! Well, another company told my business partner that their product does not like Firefox so we should use Chrome and maybe Edge. First, that is a crock, but seems to be a standard answer from anyone in the business world, sadly. I would not trust Edge or Chrome, especially those two, if they were the last platforms on earth. So, help pretty please?

Is there a setting that we can use that will assist in using RSMeans Online Version so it will work more effectively? Whenever we get an error message or it just won't open, they blame it on Firefox.

Hi I don't know what has happened to Firefox, I used it all the time for many years, now I can't sign in to Outlook and have more problems than ever. It asks me to sign into Microsoft but all I get is a blank page. Firefox was always more colourful than other browsers that's why I used it and nothing you do to try to fix this problem doesn't work, it creates more problems than it's worth, that's why I use Chrome, but I do want to use FF. Not all of us are IT experts and can't do all these complicated suggestions every web site offers, so can you make it so much easier for us to understand and for example get Outlook to open automatically as it used to do, until you can fix this I will have to use another browser. I really do like FF but it's impossible. Geoff.

Recently some programs, such as Word, are opening behind the browser window, so the only way I can access them is by shrinking and moving the browser. I also find that when a program does open in front of the browser, (as did Excel just now, I am unable to pull the browser window back to the fore without shrinking or closing the app window - ie closing excel - as I did just now. I have tested this in Chrome and Edge, and they seem to behave just fine, so the problem would appear to be with Firefox settings, but I can't locate a setting to tackle this.

Windows 11, FF 100.0.2 64-bit: after changing my security settings my add-ons are no ölonger active, and o not show in the menu bar. Reinstalling FF has not resolved the problem. Entering add-ons on the tools menu shows that the add-ons are actuall - despite the deinstall/reinstall are still present and active.

How do I download an excel spreadsheet without having to save it? Is this a "new feature" or a bug. I was able to do it previously but now it makes me save all excel spreadsheets before I can open them.

Please help me.....

After update my firefox its showing a share option on each featured image on amazon product page. How may I can turn this off?

My laptop was out of action for quite some time with a u/s hard drive and no money to replace until now. I reloaded Waterfox, logged in and synced, however, I seem to have lost all my bookmarks. Can anybody advise me, please, as to if there is a way to recover them? My backups only go back to 20/05/2022.

I just had a glitch with the latest update to 102b, FF insisted I had an old version and would only let me make a new profile. So I had to set up multi-account containers again. I have specific sites opening up in each container, and I'd like to make a copy to make sure that if my profile gets goofed up somehow, I can always easily restore my setup with multiaccount containers just the way I like it.

What do I need to copy, so that with a new profile, all I need to do is copy over some files?

In my profile folder, I see an Extensions folder, as well as an extensions.json and extensions-settings.json.

Are those the only folders/files I'd need to restore multi-account containers on a new profile?

I have thought of using FF Sync, but I keep reading that it is not intended for copying, so much as sharing across different devices, which is not something I'm interested in. Should I just let sync copy my extensions, and then sign back in, in the event I want to restore addons to a new profile?

When I download a file, a small popup window appears showing all the downloaded files. I don't like or need this window! How do I turn it off? I have included an image of the annoying download popup.

cannot install fire fox I have used it for years as my main browser can you please help me get it back? This is a brand new computer. I should not be having any issues with Firefox

I use google meet a lot. I need to screen my screen very often. i have used other web browsers which let to share a singe tab in the meet, but in firefox, can only get the option for either a window or an entire screen which is very inconvenient. Hello Today I've installed Windows 11 and tried migrate my firefox data from old windows 10 to new windows 11 by online account, after login into my firefox account I've noticed all my bookmarks,tab,password,history etc gone. I don't understood why ... I never had problems like this before . when I logged and sync on another device I had all my data from firefox account... Could you please help me with that

I have been using Firefox for 64bit Windows (now Win 11) for years. Occasionally, when I open Firefox a message will appear informing me that a new version is available, and it gives me a choice to download it or not. I normally select not to download it, and instead go to Help/About which then automatically checks my version to determine whether or not it is up to date. Lately, that has not been working properly, or at least not the same as it used to work.

Today the message opened to tell me a new version was available. I closed that message, and went to Help/About which showed my current version, 100.0.1, is "up to date". So I then went to the mozilla website, and found that there is a later version, 101.0, available. As you can see by that the auto check in Help/About seemed to not have worked correctly. So, wanting to be up to date, I attempted to download the new 101.0 version. When I clicked on Download it immediately displayed the message, "Your download was interrupted. But all is not lost. Your system may not meet the requirements for Firefox, but you can try one of these versions."

No matter how many times I tried, it continued to give me that message without allowing me to download the 101.0 version. So I went back to Help/About to try that again. It still said my version 100.0.1 is "up to date". I started over on Moxilla.org, and instead of immediately trying to download I clicked on "See Release Notes". That displayed the release notes for 101.0, and when I clicked on "Windows 64 Bit" in that screen it did download the Firefox installer which I saved to my hard drive.

I then ran that Firefox installer which informed me that Firefox was already installed, and suggested I update it instead which I accepted. The installer supposedly did it's thing, but now when I go to "Help/About Firefox" it shows that I still have version 100.0.1 installed AND it is still "up to date".

So what gives? Is there really a new, 101.0, version? If so how do I update to it?

Can I please know the command to activate the swipe left gesture to go back in a site, please?? Right now it is set to- Browser:BackOrBackDuplicate.

It would be genuinenly helpful if you could tell me the command to activate the back and forward gestures.
