when trying to access our online banking with servus credit union it blocks access yet we can access it using firefox on our laptop or our phones this has been going on for about a month now and I would like to get it straightened out .

I'm concerned about cross-tab privacy. I have a paid Gmail account and recently explicitly removed the Google Sites app from that account as I don't create websites using it and I don't want Google tracking me on sites others create with it.

Using the most current Firefox for Windows and Duck Duck Go for search, I was blocked by Google from bringing up this site, with a message that "I don't have that app installed."

Gmail is open in a separate tab in my Firefox browser. I do power down my PC daily. On this same computer, I opened Bing and the site comes right up.

Why should I be blocked from seeing it in Firefox if I can see it in Bing? Is it because I'm signed in to Google to get to my mailbox in another tab? It appears that way since it is bringing up the same symbol top right as it does in Gmail.

Since the last firefox update, I cannot access the data at https://12580.portal.athenahealth.com/ . When I log in I get a graphic "can't load page". See attached file. Enhanced security is off and exception is set for this site. Popup blocker is off for this site.

First of all, thank you for your service!

I get a ton of notifications about viruses, etc. from Mozilla, and from McAfee via Mozilla. I have purchased virus protection, etc. from Avast, and am not receiving these notifications from them, so I assume, especially in the case of McAfee, that these are scares/warnings with the hope of sales. Also, these notification boxes are un-openable, and the sender looks like a fraudulent email.

Any light you can shed on this would be greatly appreciated!!

What should be my response to these messages? Dismiss closes the particular message, but it is immediately replaced with another similar one. I have no idea what the xxxx.mergenetworkprotocol is or how to use it. It is real or a phishing scam? Is it safe to simply tell Firefox to hide it?

Hope someone can help me on this. I am trying to access directly a device from Browser with an IP address. https://192.168.1.1 But i get the error : "Warning: Potential Security Risk Ahead"

Usually get the option of adnaced to proceed further. The Version is 130.0 (64-bit) and even set the about:config, security.dialog_enable_delay to minimum.

I have added the self signned certificate of the deivice to Firefox , but that is not helping, since i am accessing it with IP address and not FQDN. I cannot add it as exception in the exception list , since that setting also ask for DNS name.

Ip address access exception is no more available in this version , how can i proceed further and not downagrade to lower verion to support access via IP .

I thought at first that the Master Password was for that, it seems however its purpose is only to protect access to the saved sites passwords. I set it up and it did in fact ask me for a password at startup but with just 2 tries to close the window, the prompt went away and did not prevent me to use Firefox further. It eventually appeared again but the result was the same. How can i prevent unathorized people using Firefox right at startup?

I found a potential flaw that can allow someone to gather all passwords saved by a user. It's pretty simple to explain, but also to exploit, so I don't want to do it publicly. Is there some specific team member that I should contact directly?

I recently added an ADDON that function to, OPEN A LINK IN A NEW TAB.

I saw something about that the Addon wasn't monitored for security.

This lead me to ask this question:

DO ADDONS SEND INFORMATION TO OTHER ENTITIES BESIDES FIREFOX, FOR EXAMPLE DO THEY SEND INFO TO THE DEVELOPERS OF ADDONS?

I keep getting pop ups warning me that Firefox is infected with viruses and I need to download and pay for a McAfee security program. How do I stop the pop ups? My computer's protection does not indicate a problem. Can Firefox be infected?

I have a couple of websites now where the Cookie acceptance window/pop up, displays for 1 second then disappears. This effectively leaves the page slightly dimmed and locked. I've tried the URLs in Chrome and the Cookie window display correctly and allows for user selection.

I have tried to add an exception for the URL for pop-ups, and then disabling pop-up blocking completely, but I still have the problem.

Firefox browser desktop - I've cleared my cache, cookies and history and turned it on and off, signed in and out also. I can log in to my amazon spain account using edge or google. I always use firefox, but now amazon spain won't let me. Is this a problem anywhere else and what else could I be doing wrong? Thanks

I went to check one of my gmail messages and when I opened youtube in another tab It had me signed into youtube with the email I was checking!! what the F**K is this? I didn't want it to sign in with that, it's not only frustrating but I could see for people on public computers having major privacy issues with this. How can I NOT have it sign into youtube automatically when I used gmail? Those are two different things for me with different purposes. It's super frustrating and a breech of privacy, very upsetting.

If you choose to sync your browser history through firefox sync, does mozilla have a way to generate the relevant cryptographic keys to decipher your data on their servers? I know that they say even Mozilla doesn't have access to your data - even when at rest - but I also noticed that they don't seem to utilize the term "zero-knowledge encryption." In other words, does mozilla have the technical capacity to decrypt data synced via mozilla sync?
