I want to deny access to my clipboard on specific website. In fact, i want to take full control of my browser clipboard event, such as history, action and permission. I have tried to use "dom.event.clipboardevents.enabled" and "*asyncClipboard*" configuration options, but not work well, some harmful website could still read/write my clipboard. The extension "Don't xxxx With Paste" do not work well too. There are nothing about clipboard on firefox settings.

Hi Don't know if I'm in the right place for this topic. I'm constantly being asked to sign in to Google Accounts when I load Gmail in Firefox on my Ipad. All the Google community groups can say is Sorry we only use Chrome. Surely there's life somewhere other than in Chrome? How do I stay signed in ,alternatively can someone point me in the right direction please. Many thanks

Hi, I receive every week a newsletter, where are listed special offers more info, etc. Firefox always blocks this page and redirect it to 404 page of this website. However, when I copy the same link from the newsletter and load it to Chrome, there is no problem. Here is the example: 'Actual Link: 'https://www.newsletter.reallusion.com/click.html?x=a62e&lc=K7G&mc=b&s=wm4&u=v&z=SOOKj4J& Result in Firefox: https://www.newsletter.reallusion.com/error404.html This is very annoying and makes me to want to switch to Chrome as a default browser unless there is an option in Firefox how to fix it.

Please let me know

Local storage event listener not working in Firefox

I have a sandbox iframe which is hosted by various websites. Lets assume that this iframe is loaded like this: <script src="https://example.com/wie.js"></script> I have already added 'allow-scripts allow-forms allow-modals allow-same-origin allow-popups allow-popups-to-escape-sandbox allow-storage-access-by-user-activation' at sandbox. I also use document.requestStorageAccess() from inside the iframe and I set event listeners for the storage like this:

window.addEventListener('storage', onStorageFunc, false);. From the iframe a popup window is presented when user clicks a specific button and the popup opens at lets say at this url "https://paypal.com". After user navigation on popup, paypal at the end of the flow redirects user to this url "https://example.com/success". At this point when user is navigated to /success I add some data to local storage which I expect to trigger the storage event listener and the onStorageFunc to run. This doesn't happen, while in other browsers it works as expected.

Since both popup and iframe are under the same url (https://example.com) and I have used requestStorageAccess, I would expect this to work normally. Can you please help me to find out what is going wrong here? In the past I had the same problem but it was fixed when I added 'requestStorageAccess' and 'allow-storage-access-by-user-activation'. Now I can see it happening again.

The problem of Mozilla Firefox that when I want to see my save password, I easily see this. And this is the big problem for me. Because when another person want to see my save passwords he can also easily see it. In that case I can lost my password and could be hacking my important accounts and sites.

If you see another software like Google chrome or Opera mini, when I want to see my save password then the softwares offer to put me the windows password or pin to see the password. This is very secure to protect my save password.

Why Mozilla Firefox software's not found the option? For this reason I can't use the Mozilla Firefox.

I need to save many important Password. But I can't do it in Mozilla Firefox for security reason. Once a time someone hacked my password in [save password] option to see the password easily in Mozilla Firefox. Please Fix the problem.

Hi ,

I need to give my laptop for screen repair, its flickering, not going to last long... as I am giving this to a third party, instead of deleting all passwords, I want to set up a quick and secure way so that this person cannot access any banking information from any browsers.

Can I set up a password for passwords or is there a guest login where he cannot access any infomation from my browser?

This is urgent, your quick reply is highly appreciated.

Thanks

For over 6 weeks, and only on Netflix Canada, we (family members) have been getting the padlock with a triangle in the address bar only after I log into Netflix. This occurs on any and all of our 4 computers using all of the 3 different internet providers, one of which is the largest Internet provider in Canada, BELL including also the their BELL Mobility Network. I appreciate that as you can see we're using older operating systems, but Firefox reports our version 110 is up to date. Our adult children have much newer computers and later if not the latest Mac OS, and are attempting to access Netflix from other internet providers elsewhere in the province of Ontario. One of them is using the next largest internet provider in Canada, or at least the province, ROGERS. She too is still having this problem. I've been through the mill with Netflix's support people and they blame you guys and our internet providers. I cannot resolve the issue, and for that reason we have ceased using Netflix because of the implicit security vulnerability attached.

What can I do about this? -Peter

For sometime with Firefox I have been difficulty with sites loading but not showing all options. When I do the same thing in Google Chrome it works ok. Once I clear data in Privacy and security it seems to work. Seems like it is connected to near everyone going to MFA.

An example: I have a citi credit card and on Firefox it does not show the 2022 annual statement. In Chrome it does ok. When I clear data in Firefox it then works. With my PNC bank account it gives and error on the url and will not load the site. Clear data and it works?

Is there a solution so it works on all sites.

Hello,

Firefox keeps signing me out of online websites like gmail, Netflix, etc. Basically anything with a password. I have been using Firefox for years and never had this as an issue. It is on my iMac which never leaves home so I don't have to worry about anyone but me accessing these websites. The issue is especially with Gmail because I have been late to online meetings because I am finding myself signed out. This is very frustrating and I need this resolved ASAP otherwise I am going to have to use a different browser. I really like Firefox so I prefer not to.

Please advise how to fix this, I would really appreciate a quick response on this one.

Thank you, ~Ray

Hello, I have two questions about private windows.

First, on the Home tab it says: "Firefox clears your search and browsing history when you close all private windows"

but what happens if Firefox crashes during a private window session? Will some remnants of your activity remain in some files, as Firefox did not have the chance to clear data as it normally would when closed gracefully?

Second question, when in private mode, does Firefox write data to either favicons.sqlite or places.sqlite (even if only temporarily)?

Thanks.

This error might be the result of the Firefox update on 18 Feb. MS Edge works fine, however.

I have tried linking to other Search Engine home pages and also setting HTTPS-Only Mode to 'ON' for all windows - both without success.

Interestingly, 'thumbnail' links saved on the Firefox homepage work fine too. The problem seems to only occur when I try to input a new web query in the search box.

My passwords won't auto-fill. The selection for "Ask to save logins and passwords for websites" is unchecked every time I restart Firefox.

I've tried everything. Re-installing, refreshing, removed all of my plug-ins, etc. I'm not in private mode either.

This is really disappointing. I don't want to switch to another browser.

Hi, I want to sign in to icloud with my appleId via https://www.icloud.com/ with my security keys YubiKey 5C NFC, but the page states that this browser does not support security keys. Every other service as Gmail or Facebook etc ... works perfectly and the security key pop-up will show up but not for icloud. I have hardened my Firefox with uBlocker and disallowed cookies. Can it be because of this? I attached screenshot. I am running Win10 with firefox 110.0 (64-bit). I have contacted apple support and they told me it is Firefox issue. Thanks for reply.
