TL;DR: Moved firefox browsers, didnt properly export passwords, uninstalled other browser, had logins.json from profile folder, needed to know how to import manually.

Fixed. I just installed the older browser, and properly exported the passwords this time.

Team, I have inadvertently been using 2 different Firefox accounts (for years now), each with one of my primary email addresses. I have a new phone and have been trying to Synchronize both of my laptops to it, thus discovering my problem.

It seems that I have created 2 different Firefox Accounts, each with 1 of my primary email accounts, but both of which have the same profile picture. (Which is why I didn't recognize this before.)

Is there a way to combine my 2 Firefox accounts but keep both of my primary email addresses (thus Merge or Combine, not remove 1)? This will allow both of my 2 laptops have the same configuration and keep all my saved passwords/logins/bookmarks/etc.

Any help would be MUCH appreciated.

For Reference, my devices are: 2x Windows 11 Laptops 1x Android Smartphone.

all drop down menus such as donwloads/history/extensions/application menu suddenly have turned from dark to white in all of my created themes. I have not made any changes to my computer system, it's set to dark, firefox color scheme is also set to dark, I've tried automatic, played around with different combinations, that didn't change anything, and I've tried changing it in about:config, and everything in there is already set to dark.....i've no idea what to do at this point. I've reposted a few of my themes, hoping they would update back to dark, but that also didn't work. I'd really appreciate some help with this!

HOWEVER, recently those same page/s are now displayed in a foreign language which I cannot read? Even my "sign-in" page is now unreadable to me! Possibly, on those pages, there might be a setting to adjust the language display, but, since I cannot read anything, knowing what to click on is, and will be, a mystery! Please help if you can. Since the last update my email account with comcast.net was totally messed up. I finally did a system restore to an earlier date, but there is still at least one email I am unable to get. It is amazingfacts.org.

Hello All, I have developed a Mozilla Firefox Extension to publish on Mozilla Developers hub. But I get stucked on "Catagory". In which catagory my extension falls in. My extension help people directly transfer online data upto 8GB without providing their personal information. Can anybody tell me what category I need to select. The extension belongs to finding careers & jobs and transfer the data online to the associates.

For some reason, all of my Firefox related things have switched to a dark mode. My DuckDuckGo page switched to dark, my tab groups have switched to dark, my links have switched to dark! This happened when I was using the Dracula Dark theme, and the Lush Bold Theme.

When I read content on a web page, I like to use the up and down arrows and PgUp PgDn to go through it. I hate having to reach over for the mouse and line everything up to go to the next screen. Since the last update, it seems I can't do that. When I hit the down arrow, or the PgDn key, it skips randomly down the page. This is especially true if I am reading an article with pictures in it. I think this might have something to do with my clicking yes to an inquiry from Firefox that just appeared on the page while I was browsing. It asked whether I wanted to be able to block text with keyboard commands. I'd like to change it back to whatever it was before, but can't figure out how to do that. Bill

I use Firefox quite a bit and installed it on my wife’s MacBook air and I’m trying to get her to use it. I recently set up a gmail account for my brother-in-law who does not have Internet and uses my wife’s MacBook air when he visits us. 

A couple of days ago the mystery icon—Firefox logo with a tv screen on the upper right—started appearing on my MacBook pro every time she turned on her computer. There does not seem to be a way to get rid of it. Any suggestions?

The documentation says to use F11. F11 was removed from ChromeOS. The Full Screen Button on the keyboard will take Firefox out of full screen, but when you try to use it to put Firefox in Full Screen, the window gets slightly larger, and then goes back to its original size.

Other applications seem to be able to go to full screen using the Full Screen key that are running under Linux. For instance, gvim, thunar, meld, and gnucash all will go into full screen with the Full Screen Key.

Hi I am receiving an error in Netflix saying that my Firefox is not up to date. When i check my version I am

informed that it is the latest version 94.0.2 (64-bit) Netflix works in other browsers but, Firefox is my

preferred browser.

I have tried refreshing and reinstalling without success.

When using Firefox on my PC I am usually (not always) unable to load email content when using icloud.com. I am signed into my icloud account in Firefox and am up to date with Firefox. I can see email content when using Outlook, when using ios on my iphone and ipad, and even when using icloud.com on my ipad. Just not when using icloud.com on my PC. What gives? This used to be an occasional thing and has now turned into an almost always thing.

How do I stop the Firefox Privacy Notice Page: https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/privacy/firefox/ from opening in a new tab, each time I click on the home icon on any other tab I have open. This is quite annoying.

I don't want to save my Firefox profile on removable media and leave it accessible to anyone around the house. I don't want to use my iCloud to store it either, because files in iCloud drive aren't end-to-end encrypted; they're encrypted, but Apple holds the keys. I can store attachments in Bitwarden, and my plan comes with enough room to store regular backups of my Firefox profile. If I want to attach the entire profile folder (not all the individual files separately) in one shot, I have to make a zip folder first, and then I can attach it to the Firefox log-in entry in my Bitwarden password manager. Will the backup work correctly if I store it like this? I mean, if I restore a backup after extracting it from a zipped file/folder, will it work correctly, uncorrupted, etc?
