Hi Firefox, thanks for a great browser.

Could you please help unlocking the account for [REDACTED BY MODERATOR]

I was busy logging in to Firefox (today's update) using my account and wished to store my login info, but the link upon login was a long useless address specific to the post-login screen and related to adding more devices. I opened a new tab but this was, apparently, a sticky login and the new tab was logged in as well. I logged out of that tab with the obvious (hindsight) effect of interrupting the previous tab/s.

Long story short, the immediate effect was the message in the subject line of this mail. Firefox locked my account and I need it unlocked.

I am using Firefox version 100.0.1 (64-bit) and whenever I try to search in the search bar it will not provide me with any search results. I stays on the same page it was on before I hit enter and the address for that website reappears. If I click on the drop down menu and select a website, it will take me to that website, unless the website is Google.

found a bug with firefox 101.0b5 website https://www.express.co.uk/ it does not display the comments for an article. Works with Microsoft Edge

I didn't know which topic to select. Just started the computer and there was a TrendMicro notice to restart my browser to complete an update -- I opened Firefox and it opened in two windows with notices about updates, but had lost all my tabs. Other times the situation is different, but the result is the same -- fifty or a hundred tabs gone -- I just noticed the toolbar is missing too so I'm going to send or submit this and turn it back on and see if that stupid extension that supposedly saves my tabs has saved anything, but often, when this happens, it hasn't saved anything for weeks! I've tried getting tech support from them but however these things works something isn't triggering it. One shouldn't need a CIS degree to be able to use a laptop. Thank you, you're awesome regardless.

I am sick of the unannounced updates that occur without prompting me. Edge doesn't do this and I'm fed up with Mozilla unannounced updates. Going to uninstall Firefox because of unannounced updates.

I once found a live bug opened for this, but I don't find it anymore.

The spell checking dictionary, as many pointed out, is horrible. It lacks tons of common words, as well as commonly used tech,internet, you name it - jargon words.

Is there (there should be) a repository to add missing words? Through my usage I add words to my private dictionary. Would be shame not to use this as part of this bug handling.

Downloaded the latest version of FireFox, and have somehow lost the toolbar for my bookmarks. Have tried suggested things mentioned that i can find to no success. How do i get this much neede item back, HELP please?

I can't use pdf to printout my credit card statements. This has happened on different banks. Finally, I gave up & went over to Chrome & had no problems. Please fix it. Another issue about pdf, it used to pop up on another page so I can view it right away when I clicked on open or whatever it was . But now, it disappears in a file. I miss the old way. Please fix it. I have two mac laptops, each have Firefox (FF) installed on them. For Laptop A I am logged into my Firefox account so FF can sync with my iPhone. For Laptop B I am not logged into my FF account. Both laptops, however, are logged into my Apple ID account.

When I am working on both machines at the same time I will get a second FF icon in the Docks of both machines. Clicking on Laptop A's secondary's FF icon will result in the webpage that is open on Laptop B appearing in Laptop A's instance FF.

How is this happening? Is the information being passed through my Apple account?

Can I disable this feature?

For some unknown reason, I am no longer able to download anything in Firefox. The download manager just says "Failed". I tried using another browser and I am able to download okay. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I'm highly suspicious of an extensions i downloaded a while ago. It has blocked facebook from tracking me as some websites i access automatically uses Facebook. When I checked the manager to make an exception for a website I was using, I don't see it there, not even to disable it. I even double checked if my only blocker, UBlock Origin is preventing it from showing but it's not even there either. So now I'm worried my data is compromised.

I am learning to look at websites with help of the development tools and the inspector tab and I am trying to get into how the web works and how the different programming languages interact and so forth. When moving the mouse over parts of the website, the relating code is highlighted in the inspector tab. I am having an issue as follows:

The first image shows a part of the website code. The mouse cursor is on no specific position, I marked its position with a blue arrow.

In the second image the mouse is over the red "free options" button and in the inspector tab a div appears out of nowhere. It does not appear in the code unless the mouse is moved over the button and disappears as soon as the mouse leaves the button. I have never seen that before (maybe because I am a beginner) and have no clue what happens there.

Is that done with javascript? Or with php? Or with css? Or anything else? What happens there and how can the actual code change?

In the inventor tab, does the code have to do with the DOM rather then the sourcecode of the website is that right?

Please give me some light =)
