When I try to watch video on YouTube or other places. I encounter green line and reverse picture. I have reinstall Firefox but it still persist. Can someone please help me understand how to fix it. As the video bug only happens in firefox. And not in other browsers such as brave or edge. i also se that other people have the samme issue exampel https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1429053.

This only happens when clicking a link from an email in Thunderbird most of the time it is a news platform. I have to copy the link and open a new tab in Firefox to have it work.

So I opened firefox today and it updated and after it updated my tabs are now like a 4th of my screen (see screenshot) and also the bookmark bar is now white where I believe it was grey or black before. I am not sure what to do to fix this issue.

When I first started using firefox, I was using the restore tabs feature, so when I shut down my computer and reopened it I would find myself back where I started. With time I had a lot of tabs open across multiple windows. One day I lost these tabs when I opened my computer, I'll call these tabs set one.

I didn't use the restore feature, since I figured I would just restart and maybe manage my tabs, so I started fresh and start a new set of windows. This set obviously went the same way, lots of tabs over a few windows, that restore when I open firefox on my computer. This is set two.

But every so often now I'll turn on my computer and find that I am on a different set. My previous collection of open tabs is back and while I can see in my history what I have searched, there is no option to restore the previous set of windows. It's not often, maybe once every few weeks, but it will switch between the two sets of tabs.

It's annoying because I am working with these tabs so if I am back on a previous set, then I need to reorganize my windows. Anyone had this issue?

I am having this issue where Firefox only keeps "Today's" history. I have thoroughly looked at the community's similar issue fixes.

I do not have Private Browsing on. I have set "Custom Settings History:

 -Remember browsing and download history
 -Remember search and form history

I do not have CC Cleaner or like apps and the one I do is on auto-manual and does not clear FF.

There is no reason for this. I would like to know when answering, what are a couple of likely causes for this. It appears by many queries here and on Google this has been an issue for years and FF seems not to want to fix it or know about it. Your help is appreciated.

Hi... I did a Firefox refresh today. Prior to the refresh, my bookmarks were displayed of the left side of the browser page... now they are not. I can still see and access my bookmarks if I go into manage bookmarks. But, I can not figure out how to get them displayed as before. Would appreciate any help anyone can provide. Thank in advance.

I'm using last release Firefox in a fresh install of Debian 12 with KDE. Trying to personalize colors and get a coherent style, I've installed Firefox Color and it worked fine, except for a few GUI elements.

Is there a similar setting for the menus? I mean in Firefox's menu bar or the ones popping over the page. The dropdown of the burguer menu and the bookmarks toolbar do get styled (I will include images showing the difference).

Since the last couple updates Firefox is NOT allowing my Password Manager to fill in logins, usually after clearing the cache which I do once a week, at least. Why is that?

Second: Your browser is being managed by your organization. That is not true. There is no organization, there never has been, I'm retired and this is home use desktop running Windows 10 and no one but me has EVER managed Firefox and I've used this browser, though no longer as my default, since it first became available. So why does it think anyone but me controls anything about it?

Hi, I updated Firefox to v119.0.1 and on Amazon Music site, the "navigation menu" is missing, see attached file. The "menu" is present on Edge (see bottom frame of Edge screen shot). What should I do to back the frame?

I am new to firefox, and not a developer. I have seen articles showing how to install a Language module (done, GB English), but when I right click in a text box all the advice says I should see a "Dictionary" sub menu, but I don't. Spellchecker works in Chrome and Safari, just not firefox. Any ideas...

Suddenly, now on FF 119.0.0.1, JPEG Images no longer open in new tab when clicked with mid-mouse-button (previous behaviour, wanted), instead they get downloaded, safed to DL-folder, and maybe opened in 3rd-party-app. I tried to change the Open-with settings, but to no avail - there's no option to 'Open in Firefox'/Internally. (Only Open with../Download)

I've tried older guides on the topic, which didn't apply here it seems, also cleaned cache, etc.

Is there a way to enable using both a default pattern as well as a custom image for the background on Firefox Color? I really want to enable both but it is making me choose one or the other. Please help me do this or enable the ability to do so.

I was having trouble with Firefox freezing and needed to close it with Task Manager and reopen it whenever this happened. On one of these restarts, only a few of my windows opened up with the new session. All of the other open windows vanished. They're not in my history or my recently closed windows at all. There are three specific windows of the lost windows that had data I was actively using and don't want to lose. The URLs would be enough. I was also using the other windows, but I can re-find that information easily enough.

This has been an ongoing issue for sometime with Firefox.

Backstory time. I am a regular shopper on eBay and I get email alerts for things I like to look at and for. Unfortunately, on my Outlook/Hotmail account, in these particular messages, the images don't load properly for some reason. And I would like to know the way to resolve this once and for all. Adblock Plus icon does not appear in toolbar or overflow menu. Windows 11 latest update and Firefox latest update. I have uninstalled and reinstalled Adblock with all anti virus and vpn off to no avail.

About a month ago, I had no issues taking a screenshot of what's displayed or entire page. Now, whenever I take a screenshot, it copies only 3/5's of the page (from the left margin to roughly 3/5ths of the page both displayed or entire). My settings in about:config have not been changed (well, they are changed but at the same settings as when 'Take Screenshot' worked and now only copying 3/5ths of the page).

I reinstalled Firefox, now 119.0.1 64bit on our Mac M2 now OS13.6 via download-reinstall in the owner account on our shared Mac. The "Firefox is being updated by another instance" line in About Firefox still has not gone away after closing and restarting Firefox.

Presuming this will disrupt future updates, I seek help.

Background: Last spring, I upgraded from a 2016 Mac on OS10.15 (which still appears on my Mozilla account) to this M2 OS12 now 13.6. I had previously set Firefox to prompt me for updates because they could disrupt my work on the old Mac. It worked fine up to 118 point something. Up to my ears recently in urgent other stuff, I deferred the prompt for 119. Then, frazzled, I just closed several 119 prompts. Today, after helping my wife use her account on the M2, I found in my Dock's active apps area an icon for something like Updater something-or-other. After a while, I swiped it away.

Over the last five hours, I have gotten 27 emails from Firefox Monitor for this data breach, for the same email address. I have already marked the breach as resolved in Monitor but I keep getting emails. Is there anything I can do about it?

Starting today I am finding it extremely hard to login to some websites. All Firefox does is just sit with a spinning circle after entering a user name and it locks up the browser to a point the I have to go to the Task Manager to stop the FireFox process. I have restarted my computer and refreshed FireFox. I have scanned my computer for malware using Norton 360, Malwarebytes, MSERT, and Windows Defender and all negative. I am having no trouble signing in to a site like https://my.account.sony.com using Edge but using FireFox now is impossible. This needs to be fixed.
