I use Firefox on my Mac. Since updating to the OS Ventura, I now see many words on different sites, as well as numbers, show up as things like zzjk{d instead of saying brett. This happens on my ebay site, my american express site which I cannot see any numbers of transactions cost since all the numbers show up as (d9 f for example. Something is not working correctly. I checked and and up to date with all firefox updates. Safari works perfect on all sites so this is a Firefox issue. See attached for how some areas on eBay look. Not all words are like this, some are still english spelling correctly. But some pages like this support page are completely unrecognizable but works correctly on Safari.

For some reason I got a new laptop and install the latest firefox version, however, very often happens that my pointer doesn't change according to the options I am selecting (unless I click on them). To fix it, I have to restart the browser every time. It's annoying because for example, if I select some text to copy it, it will not be highlighted until I finish (unclick), just until then it will highlight the text, but not during the process. Also, the wheel of my mouse won't scroll the page up and down when clicking at it (but I still can scroll without clicking it). All these issues get fixed once I restart the whole browser.

Any ideas? do you think by downgrading firefox this could be fixed?

cannot see eBay "place bid" field using Firefox 111.0.1 with MacOS Monterey 12.6.3. I can see it when I use Safari and Opera. And I can see it using other versions of MacOS on other computers.

How can I fix this? No idea what it is talking about and can load on Safari fine. I could load www.jimmchughphotographs.com fine on Firefox a little while ago. Just noticed the blank screen on my computer tonight. Is it Firefox, my computer, how to fix. Trying to create new "list" in my Twitter account. First click in the Twitter procedure brings up a Firefox box <Continue to Firefox accounts>. How can I get rid of this and continue with the Twitter procedure? Thanks in advance.

This may seem to be a senseless problem, but I don't see well and it's rather important to me. There is the search/address bar at the top of the screen. There is also the somewhat larger one down towards the middle of the screen. This is the one I use a lot. Recently, when I start typing in that lower box, I am immediately jumped to the upper one. This is something new. I cannot find a setting to prevent this from happening. (I have tried switching browsers - someone suggested that might help, but not so.) I would very much appreciate any ideas. Thank you.

Hello dear company, I have been having trouble downloading and opening files from the PTC WindChill console through your browser since a certain update of yours released sometime last year. I download a file that cannot be opened or is corrupted. I am sending the relevant files in the attachment. I would send you the files I downloaded, but your form doesn't allow it. When booting my laptop Firefox appears in Task Manager as 80%+ CPU usage causing my laptops fans to spin at high speed. This is before I have started Firefox. This started happening after the latest Firefox update 111.0.1.

Prior to updating to Firefox 111.0.1, I had NO issues going to chase.com. Now, it no longer works in Firefox. It does work in Chrome browser. When I go to chase.com, I get the below error message. I'm using a FF private window with no extensions. Yes, I cleared cache and cookies.

Why am I NOT able to LOGIN to FIREFOX or PRIVATE BROWSER? I was able to login this morning now it's afternoon & I am trying to LOGIN and nothing is happing. Am using the latest version of FIREFOX.....so what's happening?

I need to follow many hyperlinks. Everything worked fine and the followed hyperlinks changed from blue to purple. In the last 2 days, they stay blue. I have gone to settings and reset it multiple times, but the only way I can get the change is to make the screen high contrast, which I do not want. I have refreshed Firefox. I have the latest update (which might be what changed). What is the problem?

Congratulations your browser is useless thanks to your latest update. I am unable to open numerous sites that EDGE, Chrome and Opera open without issue. Firefox is my default browser. I'm about to switch to something else permanently because you've made it a total pain in the ass to use.

FIX IT!!!!!

Mozilla offered an update, version 111.0 yesterday (March 15, 2023) and I installed it. Now I cannot use a TV app that I pay for. I live in Canada and Bell Canada offers a TV app that I pay for: Bell Fibe Alt TV.

Since the install yesterday, the app keeps freezing on me and I can no longer watch anything. Did your install effect my app? I am using Windows 10 on a Lenovo i3 10th Gen laptop.

I have done a hardboot on the computer several times, with no success.

Is there some way to recommend an extension that's available in the Chrome Web Store but not available for Firefox? It's the only one I've found anywhere that does this, particular job.

Beanote will allow a sticky note to be made *anywhere* on a web page -- not in a sidebar -- and it will stay right where you want it. Or you can move it. Also, if there are tabs within a portion of that webpage, it will bleed through transparently to all of them. If you want to add it to another of these tabs, you just click on it and you can move it anywhere you'd like; again, it will stay there.
