I recently added the primary password (master passwrod) for my firefox browser from the settings.

Normally it locks the browser functionality until the password is correctly entered, but one thing I noticed recently was that the hyperlinks/webpage links from 3rd party app (discord/pdf readers/etc) opens the website regardless of this password input. I can use the page to browse the internet, although the password still works for locking other things like firefox's built-in password manager.

Is this intended mechanism for a "locked" browser?

How can I change the default app opened for mailto links?

There's guidance for Firefox on desktop on this issue, but not on mobile.

Good day On this website kwv.co.za and specifically here: https://kwv.co.za/kwv-brandy/ When I click a product the browser does absolutely nothing but it does show the url link in the bottom of my desktop as per usual link behaviour. I then have to literally refresh the page or browse away and return here before the links work. This is specific to Firefox. I have tried everything I can to solve this to no avail. Can anyone shed light on ths please Regards

I use to have at the top of my page a bottom bar that had my most frequent bookmarks..Now it is forever gone and I cannot find out how to get it back.Your new update is crashing my page constantly... I hate it,can I please have my old page back?

When i try to print a pdf file trough gmail trough the preview window of the pdf, instead of printing it downloads a pdf file with a very long name (example of real filename: ACFrOgAcZiEDMs3JEBQmIpDaAGloJLSCzqQnju2ahdPe2m6v--kxq5xmHsQ3_OiYnd1RVZ5fR46JDQDXONNeSB2VeMNtaXzW3U7wPL1OahSYDRH2GxIrcVbFC68h2sFQPuJpmH_Id0M_oYukAKAjAq4dkn6a4oiPfF9Un5V3Cw==) which looks like javascript to me.

when I open the pdf file (my default viewer is adobe acrobat) it opens the file instantly with the print dialog open.

I have tried about:config booleans regarding opening and downloading pdfs

I have tried checking firefox settings and there is only "always ask", "save file" and "adobe acrobat" options and no "open in firefox" option and when i make it "always ask" and choose "open in firefox" from that option it just repeatedly gives me the "ask" window on new tabs each time i click ok.

I have also checked popups for gmail, they were not blocked so i have disabled and re-unblocked popups from gmail site

it works on every other site but gmail which is the main place i need to print files from.

Bing homepage is no longer showing 'Toggle Feed Area Position'; basically the very bottom of the screen. I am not able to adjust the display area, in case it is just hidden below. How to fix?

lately I am unable to connect to some websites - I am getting a lot of "Hmm we're having trouble finding that site." I have to get to them using Safari or Chrome.

After years of opening Outlook/Hotmail from my bookmarks or by entering the address, suddenly five days ago I can’t. All I get is a blank page with the address in the address bar (image attached). Using the same address, I can open it in MS Edge and Norton Private Browser, which has all of the Firefox bookmarks. I’ve spoken with Norton help, thinking that their program caused this, but they couldn’t solve it. Thank you

Yesterday I thought I had downloaded two CDs from Amazon Music. I received the invoices for them but could not find the downloads on my Windows 11 Desktop.

I just spoke with Amazon who said there has recently been an issue with Firefox and that I should use Chrome to receive downloads. I asked for a refund instead as I value the privacy that Firefox gives me.

I am using the latest version of Firefox and am curious to know:

1) What the issue is? 2 Have others experienced this? 3) Is it likely to be resolved? 4) Why Amazon doesn't test its software for Firefox compatibility before making changes?
