Dear Firefox specialist,

does Firefox plan to implement the functionality to group tabs? such functionality is basic for many other browsers. and it's strange to use add-ons for the most popular browser.

This is really annoying. I've had that feature disabled since I first started using Firefox as I feel it defeats the purpose of incognito tabs to make it obvious when you have them open, and I prefer keeping all my tabs organized in a specific way

I've checked about:config and that feature is still set to false, I've checked about:studies and there's nothing that looks like it would impact private browsing. I've tried restarting both Firefox and my computer, the tabs are still separate

Anyone have any ideas on what to do now?

I have all of my settings appropriately set according to all recommendations and instructions. When my Firefox opened it had a notice that it had updated. However, when it opened ALL of my previously opened tabs were gone. I need them ALL restored since I am a business owner and masters student and rely on them being readily available.

Is there a way to open many pages quickly from history?

Whenever I'm in history and I open a page, the history window closes. In order to open another page from the history I need to go back to menu > history, search through history again, and go from there. I want to open like 5 tabs real quick, as I imagine it 5 quick middle clicks in the history window without the history window closing. Is there any preference for this or extension?

Even when i set it on start from where i left off, after closing my Mozilla desktop application my all tabs get reset which have been quite problematic for me.

In regards for this, please solve this problem as soon as possible as it keeps hindering with my work

It used to be that Firefox had different containers. I kept separate ones for shopping, banking, Facebook, etc. Now I had to erase my MacBook Pro IOS, and after a few days of trying to use Safari, I installed Firefox. But I can no longer see the possibility of using containers. I found them particuarly helpful when I had more than one account for a certain platform - with containers, I didn't need to sign out and sign in to switch users. It also (supposedly) kept Facebook from tracking our interests. Has Firefox done away with containers? Or have I simply forgotten what they are called (buckets, maybe?). I searched and searched the help articles to no avail. If they have done away with them, why?

By the way, Chrome (which I had to use at work) started offering a similar product and it was also very helpful.

I would like to have my tabs I use everyday reopen when I turn the browser back on. In settings I have checked the box for "open previous windows & tabs" However, when I reopen the browser the previous tabs are not there and I have to recreate the line-up of my tabs which takes time etc. How do I fix this? Is there a functionality to view Tabs Side-by-Side, or Vertical yet? Or is there a plan for it; similar to the recent version of Edge Chromium? I have read several questions; and their work-around solutions of using a side bar or sing two windows and arranging them side-by-side. Neither functionality offers synchronized scrolling. I used Tile Tabs or We Tabs add-on in the past which was great.

The pdf gets overwritten by the new text when it is scrolled down or up and the whole pdf becomes messy. I have attached an image showing the same. The terminal gets into the background of the pdf and any other application that is opened on the screen.

I have a problem with opening multiple tabs and displaying graphics on pages. I have to verify about 2000 pages and I open 10-20 each time. unfortunately, graphics are not displayed on them - written content and formatting are loaded, but without graphics. When I open pages one at a time, this problem does not occur. When I open 5 pages at once, at least one of them does not have any graphics loaded, the rest have them. How to make graphics load like in Chrome - on all open tabs en masse?

When I start PiP on Youtube via the keyboard shortcut 'command+option+shift+]', the miniplayer becomes focused, such that pressing 'control+tab' only cycles through options in the miniplayer, rather than switching tabs. It seems to me that the fix would be to force the focus back to the main window either automatically, or if control is held while pressing tab.

hello, running win11, ff128. the tabs are currently located at the top of the window, just above the address bar.

how can the tab bar be relocated to the bottom of the screen / window directly above the taskbar?

a long time ago there was an extension "tabmixplus" that gave the option of locating the tabs anywhere, but firefox updates broke it. i then found a userchrome script that performed the desired action, but ff updates broke it.

advice? solution? userchrome script? extension? thanks
