Downloaded the latest version of FireFox, and have somehow lost the toolbar for my bookmarks. Have tried suggested things mentioned that i can find to no success. How do i get this much neede item back, HELP please?

Hi, Idk if cookies is the right topic, but I think login data is store in cookies somehow. Whatever, everytime I turn my computer off and restart I get logged out of my Google acc in Firefox. Problem occurs since about a week now, I already reinstalled Firefox and cleaned all user data

On my old (Intel based) MacPro Zoho email works fine. On my new M1 chip MacPro when I first open Zoho, or open an email, the page does not render properly at first (buttons/links don't work etc). After a delay it refreshes and shows properly. The delay depends on how fast my internet is - in the evening it can be a minute or so. Even when the internet is good I still get 2 versions of a page with a pause in between.

I tried on Safari and it works fine - which makes me think this is a Firefox issue.

I have some screen shots but when I click the browse button below I can select a file then it just endlessly shows working. I will have to email these to you separately

Firefox wasn't working well on a seldom-used laptop, and the update to 100.0.1 didn't go quite right, so I deleted the old version and (using the odious Edge) tried downloading a fresh copy of the software.

But then I get a message from "7-ZIP" that reads "Can not create temp folder archive"

I'm stuck. Advice?

I was trying to move it and I accidentally deleted it. I would like to reinstall it. I cannot seem to find the right phrase to find it on your sight and do a reinstall. If you would be so kind to point me in the right direction,I would be most grateful. Little updates like this is why I have remained a loyal fan since the Netscape Navigator days.

Firefox starts but when I type into the search box nothing happens. My RoboForm link does not work and neither do the bookmarks. I have had to resort to using Edge to get onto the internet. Jim Klein

I' m having the issue that .jpeg images don't zoom smaller in Firefox (they do in Safari). I'm performing cmd-+/- on a Mac keyboard.

Any ideas?

I'm downloading a lot of images, and every time I do so a popup box appears showing the most recent five downloads and a button to show all downloads, It covers some of the icons I use for downloading images which is frustrating. If I right click on any of the downloads one of the options is to Clear Preview Panel, so I assumed it was called Preview Panel, but help does not know about that and I can't find how to stop it coming up (it used not to until I did something, I don't know what) It's driving me crazy.

I don't mean "saving" login information for later use, that I do not want to do. What I mean by the login not being retained is that when I log-in to a website like say Amazon, while I'm browsing, I end up having to re-enter my login information pretty much every other time that I switch between pages. I've never had an issue like that with any other browser. Is there some setting I need to adjust to stop that from happening? As I said, I'm not looking to save my passwords and usernames within the browser, I just want to effectively browse a website after logging into it without needing to login every time I move between pages. Whenever I open a lesson on duolingo, rectangles start to appear, flickering on the screen. It's completely fine on troubleshoot mode, but when i disable all my extentions on normal mode (i still had account containers on), it still happens.

I added a few sites I frequently visit, such as banks, credit card company Google, to the exceptions list in Cookies And Site Data. When my version of Firefox was recently updated to 102.0.1, a few of those sites began asking for additional authentication because they didn't recognize my computer. So I added the recommended add-on, Cookie Quick Manager. and listed those sites as protected. This worked for a few days but Google and my credit card company again don't recognize my computer. I am not using a VPN.

I've just opened Firefox to discover it has updated whilst I was out, and now all my saved logins are missing.

It's not a disaster, just really annoying as it means having to re-enter a lot of information, and remembering it!

Is there any way of recovering that information or is it a lost cause?

I can play videos and audios on another browser or files stored on my computer, but just now I cannot on Firefox. I saw the FAQ explanation about Windows 7, but I have been using Firefox for years including just hours ago using Windows 7. Why would this happen right now? Did some new version just get installed? If so, can I return to the prior version and turn off the automatic update?
