I've been trying to install an add-on that is in the .zip format. I set xpinstall.signatures.required to false and restarted the browser, yet Firefox keeps telling me the add-on cannot be installed because it's not verified. Is there a way to change this?

hi, i had to reinstall all my windows , after that whit the new fire fox reinstalled , many pages that load well now they dont , problems of autenticitcity, broken page page icon over images.

in my tablet and phone dont the same pages load well and in the computer too before the reinstall.

I'm experiencing an issue with my website's compatibility with Firefox. website My website, which provides online educational resources and tools, is not displaying certain interactive elements correctly when accessed through Firefox. These elements work perfectly in other browsers like Chrome and Safari.

Specifically, I've noticed that some JavaScript-based interactive features, like quizzes and drag-and-drop activities, either don't load or don't function as expected. I've already cleared the cache and ensured that Firefox is updated to the latest version, but the problem persists.

Has anyone else encountered similar issues, or does anyone have suggestions on how to troubleshoot and resolve this compatibility problem? Any insights would be greatly appreciated!

Hi! I don't like the automatically updated extensions -feature, it seems to have been turned on nowadays, it has been maybe a year or two when you had control to update them by hand! I don't like this feature and it seems to now be in every browser that I use, Firefox, Opera, Brave, Vivaldi! Is there a way to turn this function off? Maybe a commandline function or an editable thing in a configuration file! Other browser developers should also think about this! I think Firefox has been a good browser to use, I used to use Opera but changed to Firefox quite accidentally when having to install things again!

Until a few days ago, my Firefox would save all the tabs from the previous session. But now it does not, and I still have all the necessary settings enabled. I noticed that it will save the previous session IF I use the Firefox "EXIT" from the "File" menu. However if I use close the session using the upper right hand corner Windows close box (where the "X"), it does NOT save the tabs from the session. I also notice that when I close the Firefox window using the Windows close box, that Firefox (several) show still running under the Windows Task manager, but not when I use the "File:Exit". Running the current FIrefox version 127.0 (64-bit) under Windows 11.

I have had an issue for months where streaming services like Netflix, Hulu, Max, and Amazon Prime will not work on Firefox. I am updated to the latest version, 127.0 (64-bit), and am able to successfully log in to these streaming services, but without fail get an error message when I attempt to stream a video. Netflix returns a F7531 error, Max returns an error code, and Prime Video says I cannot stream without the latest version of the browser even though I am up to date. I have restarted and updated Firefox multiple times, have toggled and uninstalled extensions and nothing has worked. The extensions I currently use are Auto Tab Discard, Google Analytics Opt-Out, Honey, Return Youtube Dislike, Search by Image, Shinigami Eyes, Sponsorblock for Youtube, UBlock Origin, To Google Translate, and Video DownloadHelper.

The bookmarks disappeard on the toolbar or in the library even though the sites that were previously bookmarked are still marked with the blue star. Comically it still shows my recent additions even though they are nowhere else to be found.

On mobile the bookmarks are still there but resynching, reinstalling, restarting didn't work.

When i want to bookmark the disappeared ones again, they won't be saved and are gone again the next time I start the browser.

It's really annoying, I had a lot of them and I don't want to use desktop shortcuts or use another browser but I might just have to.

I want replace firefox Windows Mozilla MSIX 1- 0 package browser from ms store with regular downloaded version but I do not want to lose all my settings.

How do I go about this?

Firefox is my preferred browser, and I have a very comprehensive list of bookmarks with folders and subfolders. Recently, whenever I add a bookmark through 'Manage Bookmarks' to access this list more easily than 'bookmark this page' > 'edit bookmark' & > 'Choose', it works the first time only; after that if I add another the second will not appear. If I close the 'manage bookmarks' window & reopen it & scroll to where I was before (a time consuming exercise), I can see that it did add the bookmark— for some reason it does not show when I do. This happens if the window is idle more than a few moments. Ideas how to fix?

All of a sudden my web address bar at the top of the screen disappears when I open a web address and I have to push my mouse to the top of the screen to make it appear? Didn't used to do this.

Why can´t my email within Outlook not be shown. "error" Your email cant be shown at the moment. Try again lather or check your Internet connection.

Firefox is my default browser...but when i open it.. MSN Browser opens first and i have to 'click' the+ add button to go straight to firefox...why is that happening? I have checked how to stop MSN browser loading from youtube video...adjusting the reg-edit process..rebooted and redone a few times....but still when i click on my firefox app...this is what happens every time?

i keep getting sent to .ca sites instead of the .com that i had typed in and wanted to go to ie: yahoo.com discovery.com

There was no yahoo.ca or hotmail.ca when i got my email accounts and i only deal with originating networks Discovery.com not ripoffs like ctv.ca/discovery.
