This is on macOS Sonoma 14.1.2.

If I copy/type anything into the address bar, and press enter, it disappears and the browser remains blank. As does: selecting any website from the address bar dropdown, opening any bookmark, or attempting to open any file. There is no error, so I'm at a loss how to debug this.

Firefox was working on Ventura. Repeatable with Firefox versions 120-115, have not gone back further. Neither troubleshoot mode nor deleting/rebooting/reinstalling changes anything.

I need to be able to access banks, specifically USB Direct. I can access my credit union but when I try to get my statement, I get a message that I have been logged out due to inactivity.

I'm not sure what happened because it never broke sites like this before. Sometimes it makes a site impossible to read. I haven't done anything to the browser and this just started happening.

Is this really Mozilla or Google playing dirty? I ask because the site I was trying to access suddenly has stopped working on other browsers, so I thought I would try it on Firefox, and this is what happened. I do not have the security key it is asking for so I cannot even log into the site. The site support told me that they recommend Google Chrome. It seems too coincidental that it suddenly stops working on other browsers and Firefox won't even let me login. Nor has it EVER asked me for a physical security key to access any site before.

No idea if this is happening to anyone else:

When I use Dropbox for web on Firefox on a new Macbook pro, every so often the screen will completely glitch out and you can't really do anything on Dropbox. By glitch out I mean the screen just becomes really shaky, like non stop shaking back and forth and you can't click anything or navigate at all.

I have a website that uses Javascript 'fetch()' to call pages on the server, and no matter what I try, it never works, since around the end of the year. I keep getting the following error:

"Uncaught (in promise) TypeError: NetworkError when attempting to fetch resource."

Can somebody help?

I am trying to use a website (www.gool.co.il) which I use to study and worked for me in Firefox on PC and on IOS a few month ago and now the login is broken in Firefox but works in other browsers is there a way for me to fix it?

I was trying to resolve a graphics issue with Firefox and Webgl2 on a specific website, so I used a recommended solution in advanced settings, which just spread the problem to other websites. I wasn't really sure what to do at this point, so I tried to just reset all the modified settings to attempt to get back to the first download settings. However, I was unable to do this and now Firefox can't load any pages, even when I've deleted the browser and redownloaded it. How can I get a completely fresh download, or even can I? I'm not tech savvy and extremely frustrated at this point.

Hi, I installed the new update yesterday. This morning, I cannot access anything through my usual Firefox browser. I'm making this report from Google - which is working fine on the same computer. When I try to access any websites, the usual tab opens with a greyed-out "X" (or hourglass?) on the left of the tab - then nothing happens. I've tried restarting - no luck. I suspect yesterday's update was flawed/had a glitch. Please help.

When watching a video on youtube using firefox the network speed displayed by youtube is significantly slow that when on a chromium browser in this case edge. I have tried prievous suggestions such as disabling Zero Round Trip Time Resumption (0rtt) and tried in troubleshooting mode, neither have an effect. I have attached screenshots from the same video from each browser.

When I try to log into the site, the system sends a 2FA code. I enter the code an Firefox goes into a loop waiting for the server. When I use Chrome, I get right in. I do not want to be forced over to Chrome. How can I fix this?

i dont know why but when in fullscreen sites have weird borders around them it seems to be a firefox issue i dont know how to fix it.my computer runs windows 11 if that helps.

Hello, I did something stupid. I was trying to set up the dark/light theme via cli, and I asked openai about it.

It suggested this command:

echo 'user_pref("lightweightThemes.selectedThemeID", "firefox-compact-light@mozilla.org");' | jq -s '.[0]' > ~/.mozilla/firefox/*.default-release/prefs.js

Which resulted in the following error:

jq: parse error: Invalid numeric literal at line 1, column 11

When I opened mozilla, my profile was reset, and websites won't load (except this one!). They just hang there loading forever. My internet is fine, chromium works perfectly.

So how do I fix this and is there a way I can recover my profile? (Yes I know I should've made backups)
