Hi Guys,

I have an issue. I noticed now that if i click on one of my 300 tabs of website tabs, it automatically goes to some domain reseller and removes the whole link / information on the link that shows which tag or data i had on that link in the tab. If that makes any sense?

I hadnt yet gone through renaming all the tabs when the website changed domainbs and now i am unable to as the minute the tab wakes up from beind discarded, instead of coming up as can not find website (at which point in the past i could just change the 2 characters to the right domain), it goes to the domain reseller and removes the whole link / data that it used to point to.

Anyone know of a way i can do change the links on a mass scale of all the tabs i have?

I use Firefox on all of my computers and they all have a plus sign next to an open tab to open a new tab, but on this computer I have to right click on the 5tab bar to open a new tab - how can I get the plus sign to show for easy tab opening?

In the pass while on a tab inside a group[1], whenever I 'open link in new tab' it keeps the group closed, but now it forcefully opens the group. Is there setting I can press to stop this.

Firstly, because, It is annoying to manually have set browser.tabs.groups.smart.enabled and browser.tabs.groups.enabled to false every time when installing firefox.

Secondly, because this is not sufficient to restore the normal correct beaviour. Tabs cannot be detached despite browser.tabs.allowTabDetach being true.

FF 141.0 on FreeBSD, only extension is NoScript.

What needs to be done still so that tabs can be detached?

P.S.: Suggested long term solution: Introduce an option "Disable tab groups ENTIRELY, restore behaviour as it was before introduction of tab groups.".

A few updates ago I had an extension or setting somewhere which caused a new window to open with the tab which exceeded a pre-defined tab limit. This capability disappeared a few FF updates ago. Is there a way to do this now? Larry

Ill listen to some music in a tab, then ill pause it, go do something else, then randomly after a long time, an hour or 2 it will resume itself after the tab being in that closed group for so long

What is the latest version of the browser because when I open a new tab from a previous tab's content onto the new one it just doesnt load for some reason

I can't save my tabs & windows anymore, I have the box checked but after I close down the computer I lose all the tabs when I reopen and then I need to put them all back manually. What has gone wrong it always worked before for many years? Please tell me how to fix it

Good evening. I have had to install my FF after a system repair. I have everything set back except when I click on a link and hightlight an item with my mouse and right click it opens a new tab. But before where it would just open it changes to the new tab immediately. Under settings I have the 'when open new tab switch to it immediately' unchecked and I was directed to four settings on about:config including browser.tabs.loadDivertedInBackground to set to true. I did and the behavior did not change. Any suggestions would be helpful. Thank you.

Hello. I have issue with Firefox. I am often opening firefox by command: firefox --no-remote -P <profil> --new-window "<web_site>" Usualy it works. But sometimes it is opening new window and my web_site is located in second tab. First tab (which is completelly unwated) start loading after clicking on it. It is a recently closed tab. I call this tab zombie-tab. It was finished and properly closed, however it rose from the dead. I tried to set in about:config browser.sessionstore lot of parameter to absolutelly forbid to save any information. However, there is still whole history in the list, sites are restorable and sometimes it appears these zombie-tabs. Restore from crash is also deactivated. I tried before to start the firefox without --no-remote parameter, but AI recommend me to add it there. It did not help. Since it is happening occasionally, I consider it as a bug. I'd like to make it so every time I click a link to navigate a certain website, it opens in a new tab. I don't want every link I press across the web to open in new tabs, just this one site. Can't find any settings or extensions for this, but it seems like something someone must have made. Can anyone help?

How can I disable the hidden tabs feature, my tabs are being hidden in the upside down arrow whenever I'm not using them, I don't want that to happen, how can I stop it?

I am using Firefox on a W11 64 desktop. Until recently (the most recent upgrade, I think) all worked well. But since then although the relevant box is ticked in settings (aboutpreferences general), on opening Firefox the tabs from the preceding session are NOT restored. This is extremely inconvenient.

Have any others found this same problem? Any work arounds?

Links keep opening in new windows, and not within new or same tab. Shift key is not stuck and all toggles in the Tabs Opening/Interaction Settings field have been turned off

Starting with Firefox 147.0, new tabs appear at current tab position when clicking on URL. How can I revert back to new tabs appearing at end tab position when clicking on URL?
