when i pull up a log in page firefox always wants to fill in my log in name. i went to the settings page and firefox says that i have no saved log ins. how do i clear my log in name or stop firefox from trying to fill it in for me.

firefox is very slow, crash several times. i need to close and reopen.

it comes on average 2TB of Ram with 4-5 tabs open. version: 99.01 64 bit

This is a moan more than a question. About every six months or so my bookmark sidebar disappears because i have clicked Control and B without meaning to. And that is how to get it back again. Except, I never remember and search all over the page (View, Options etc) without finding how to get it back. So I eventually do a search for how to recover it and find all the archived guides from when other people had the same problem and the same question and ther same frustration. So my moan/quesion is this: why the blankety blank, doesn't Firefox add something into the menu (View or Options or somewhere) that says "Show toolbar permanently". Would save all this frsutration and irritation. The impression I get is that Mozilla thinks we should not want to have the menu on screen all the time. But that is the problem with users! We have our own way of doing things! Please!

I've noticed that some websites will endlessly spam the console (in developer tools) with rubbish, and I would like to be able to block that from happening. I'm ignorant about this sort of stuff in general, and it confuses me how a website can even access my browser's console to begin with.

The latest example I came across which caused me to finally ask about it, was some strange JavaScript spam with some kind of < div > (had to edit this with spaces to show it in the post) structure containing over a thousand characters. My email changed from a .com to a .org and I was forced to reinstall windows before I could change it so I can't recover my account, which has passwords I need attached to it.

In the previous version I could run streaming videos from Paramount Plus, in the latest version I cannot run them. I have no problems running them on Microsoft Edge.

Firefox now needs to be clicked on twice before starting. In addition is not reopening previous windows and tabs on startup although this option selected in settings. Is this related to a new version? Thank you!

Since about a month ago I can't drag a file from a folder to an open email in Firefox. Was always able to, but it stopped a few weeks ago. I read that the new 99.01 version would fix this, I installed it today and the problem persists. What am I missing? Thank you to anyone who reads, cares and replies with solution.

Last week attaching documents using drag and drop suddenly stopped working for Outlook webmail. I've seen the same problem posted here, but no response yet. Already tested, this feature still does work in outlook when using Safari, so there is some new incompatibility between outlook and firefox. I really do NOT want to change browsers as I've been using Firefox forever, but this is a deal breaker. Please please Firefox, show some evidence that this new apparent incompatibility is being fixed. Thanks!

p.s. this doesn't seem like it should be left to volunteers, is there a way for messages to reach someone who actually works for firefox?

Hi Firefox community, whenever I hit "space key" while I type, then it scrolls downwards which I annoys me. This happened at "Otranscribe" website where I was typing and this thing happened. Please tell me how can I stop the scrolling when hitting space key?

A few days ago the Best Buy website started giving me this message:

And yesterday I cannot get into the Walmart website.

This was all working perfectly fine last week. What's up Mozilla??? Oh, and both websites work perfect on Chrome as I had to use them to place my orders because Mozilla decided to all of a sudden make changes...

When I open https://www.washingtonpost.com/ it loads but after a few seconds it goes blank. This started a few days ago and only happens on firefox.

Since the Firefox 99 update loading some pages (for example, the Gmail sign-in page) using Firefox on my Linux Mint machine, that I'm running a VNC remote desktop session on, results in a crash.

I've tried running Firefox in safe-mode and the crash doesn't happen, but turning off hardware acceleration, swapping to default themes, removing all extensions, and completely removing Firefox and the .mozilla folder and then re-installing Firefox have not changed the crash behaviour in the absence of the safe-mode flag.

I would appreciate help in identifying what other paths of investigation I can take.

With the new version (99) I can no longer automatically launch my Revue by Bluebeam application and instead forces me to download the link, which I can then click on to launch the Revue application. There is no choice in settings for the BFX extension to automatically launch my Bluebeam Revue application. The result is my computer is filling up with downloaded links for Bluebeam, which I then have to go in and delete on a continual basis. I do not have that problem in chrome, which someone said is why you guys made the change to switch from automatic launching like chrome did, however I do not have that problem in Chrome. What a shame I have to keep two different browsers
