Why is the website "Biddit-Website not correctly displayed with Firefox in W10 ? The icons are not shown, see screenshot. Example link: example In Chrome it is going fine.

When I push the refresh-button in FF, the icons display correctly during a few milliseconds. Then the screen goes blank and the page is refreshed.

In the settings I have a check mark for "Allow pages to choose their own fonts, instead of your selections above"

I have no ad-blocker or such things. Could this be a bug in FF ?

Inaccurate Firefox application memory crashing Mac

Every couple of days I get the attached "force quit" pop-up, telling me that I need to close applications to avoid "problems." Everything on my screen becomes inoperable. I run the Firefox task manager, and it says that Firefox is using well under 100 MB (screen shot attached), but that pop-up give a conflicting number of well over 100 GB.

I'm concerned that there is some kind of malware running in the background and causing Firefox to gum up my Mac. There are no help articles on this, and I can't find anything on Google.

I do use Logic Pro X, which is known to gobble up resources. But this particular time, while Logic was open, I hadn't opened a project yet.

I was using a Telehealth app through my electronic medical record that I believe uses Facetime for their back end. But after I signed out of that session, the pop-up appeared again, and again everything stopped working. That is when I took the screen shots.

This issue has been closed (https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1283359) but it's still not working in 2022.

Font size in Firefox is not obeying the font size specified in a page, despite "Allow pages to choose their own fonts, instead of your selections above" being set in the settings.

For instance open https://www.w3schools.com/cssref/pr_font_font-size.asp in Chrome and Firefox. You'll see that the font-size of "Example" might be claimed to be 24px in the inspector, but it's clearly smaller than in Chrome.

This is a bug with Firefox.

Firefox on Windows 11 now runs at 100% and a stack of ram. Obviously this slows down my PC and this is only on the home page with nothing to look at. This makes it unuseable. Tried help pages - no use at all. Why am I asking an unknown instead of Mozilla? To big for their boots?

1) where is all of your Firefox backups located? 2) i just had some random places.sqlite file corruption and did i therefore lose all of my bookmarks also somehow after renaming the corrupt 'places' file? 3) does it not even backup all of the bookmarks either if it cant read/write the 'places' file normally for some time? 4) how is this kind of stuff even possible with Firefox when everything else works completely fine and normal? 5) is the .jsonlz4 file compressed to a smaller size than html somehow?

This is a strange bug. I have a Dell Latitude 5490 i5 (8GB Ram). I recently installed Windows 11. Firefox freezes when I create a mobile hotspot to share the internet with my mobile devices. Then I'll have to disable the hotspot even to restart firefox! otherwise, with the mobile hotspot open, firefox doesn't re-start.

Edge works fine, never tested chrome. No other app freezes.

Any suggestion?

P.S I have the latest Firefox 101.0.1 (64-bit)

Have not been able to login to Citizen Bank with Firefox (which I have been using since the 90's) yet I can login using Explorer or Chome. Tried re-installing Firefox, flushed my history and buffers, still same results. Any suggestion would be appreciated. Thanks Walt B

For some reason, whenever I log into websites like Twitter or something like Aritzia, it does not register that I have logged on and instead either stalls once I enter my information and then doesn't actually log me in or it just doesn't log me in in the first place. Below is the image I get when I try to log into twitter - the black box that has the login info remains and the entire page is no longer useable. When I refresh, it is like I never logged in in the first place.

I cleared cookies, my cache, I did the about:serviceworkers thing and unregistered the site. What else can I do? I can log in on chrome, plus whenever I try to log in I get a message on twitter that someone's trying to log in so I know its not an issue with my account

Why are websites that I've open for years, now will not open because Firefox says they are "''''not secure'" I switch to Chrome or Edge, and they all open right up. I have been with Firefox since they first started, but i am tired of this bullshit, and ready to dump Firefox if they don't get this corrected within the next week. I am not interested to having to jump through a bunch of hoops to change thing on my computer, this is a Firefox problem, not a customer issue. CORRECT IT.

Why is it that Firefox has NO TECH SUPPORT?
