Goodd day from UK I run firefox esr 115.9.1 and find the the F5 refresh key does NOT refresh the images. The same applies when using the "reload" icon in the menu.

Reading other posts, nothing seems to apply here.

There are NO add-ons at all and everything is cleared on close. The text DOES seem to change.

As a web developer checking updates this is extremely annoying as only hope is keep closing the browser (to clear everything) and restart - the loads new images etc.

I use several versions of Firefox (2, 20, 56) to ensure compatability with olf browsers and it seems to be only those over 100 with this issue.

Does anyone know if this is a "feature" or a"bug" and is there any simple (!) way around the issue?

My Kaiser website kp.org can't come up...the following error message:

"The page isn’t redirecting properly

Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete.

   This problem can sometimes be caused by disabling or refusing to accept cookies."

I have two end users that are having a different issues but they are of similar nature. First user can not upload anything to Microsoft Share point. She gets a message that says she does not have proper permissions to upload. She does not have the same issue on Chrome or Edge. The second user is trying to download and or save a file from a couple of different websites but regardless on where she tries to save it on her computer it says she does not have proper permissions to save to "x" file location. She also does not have this issue when she is on Chrome or Edge.

For both users I have tried clearing cache and cookies, Rebooting their computers, uninstalling and reinstalling Firefox, deleting registry keys/user data from the computer itself. I have had no luck with resolving this issue and I can not find anything online that remotely resembles this issue.

I am running Edition Windows 11 Home Version 23H2 Installed on ‎10/‎13/‎2022 OS build 22631.3447 Experience Windows Feature Experience Pack 1000.22688.1000.0 Device specifications; Device name MSI Processor 12th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-1280P 2.00 GHz Installed RAM 16.0 GB (15.7 GB usable) System type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor

When I click on install Firefox 124.0.2 the following window pops up stating; Sorry, Firefox can't be installed. This version of Firefox requires Microsoft Windows 10 or newer. Please click the OK button for additional information.

Which opens up a new window giving me the following installation requirements.

Firefox System Requirements Firefox 124.0.2 Windows Operating Systems (32-bit and 64-bit)

   Windows 10 or later

Recommended Hardware

   1 gigahertz (GHz) or faster compatible processor or System on a Chip (SoC)
   1GB of RAM / 2GB of RAM for the 64-bit version
   500MB of hard drive space

As previously noted, my windows operating system and hardware meet the Firefox System Requirements.

Please let me know what needs to be done to install Firefox 124.0.2

I've been using the following in userChrome.css for many years

1. menu_close { display: -moz-box !important; }

to restore "Close Tab" in the File menu, based on cor-el's response regarding restoring menu_bookmarkAllTabs here:

This stopped working some time ago and I am finally getting around to asking why.

I do have toolkit.legacyUserProfileCustomizations.stylesheets set to true, and other items in userChrome.css are working.

I am using 121.0 at home and 115.0 ESR at work and see the same (i.e. no "Close Tab"), in both cases on Debian testing. I do see this menu item when using the keyboard to open the File menu.

Any idea why this no longer works?

I have tried preventing Firefox from autostarting with Windows start up by examining these potential program starting locations:

Firefox-Settings-General: "Open Firefox automatically when your computer starts up": Option not available about:config - toolkit.winRegisterApplicationRestart - set to "false" No listing for Mozilla or Firefox in Windows 10 "Startup Apps" settings page No listing for Mozilla or Firefox in Windows 10 msconfig.exe/System Configuration-Startup No listing for Firefox in Windows 10 Task Scheduler No Firefox program in Windows 10 - %appdata%\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Startup folder All Firefox extensions (2) are disabled

Firefox often display messages at the lower right corners - only from selected sites.

It drives my crazy - because I have to click on each and ervy one.

How can I select the sites which are displayed or can I shut them off all together ?!?

Please advise !

Hello, Every time I try to open a new tab, either for searching or for opening up any of my accounts such as facebook, a security alert pops up and the URL is resultvIt.com. Please help.

I have attached images of what slowly occurs when I don't clear my cookies, websites start to slowly and slowly load less and less until they eventually completely break and wont load and I have to clear my cookies, resign into everything. and rinse and repeat every few days or a week, I also attached an image of what the purchase screen is supposed to look like. Looking at this via Microsoft edge

I am unable to login to the DVLC. I get as far as the enter reg number of a car to check it,s been taxed. Then after I input the reg number the next page tell me it is an insecure page. This also happens on my laptop. On both desktop and laptop I am using firefox with duck duck go as an add on. However. In using my mobile with the stand alone duck duck go browser, I can log in and complete the task. This points to a problem with Firefox. Any advice's. This seems to be recent as I have used the laptop and desktop to use the check for a taxed car system ok in the past.

Something changed very recently, probably that new update. There are passwords and all manner of info I can't find....

I am missing MANY bookmarks I had in Firefox. Where did they go?

Can I somehow restore the previous version if necessary to recover them?

Firefox. LinuxMint 21.3 Cinnamon 6.0.4 , Google Mail Compose, Pressing and holding the arrow key moves the cursor one character at a time. Google Chrome works fine.

how to permanently keep the warning about closing multiple tabs?

Every so often, probably due to an unseen update, when I press the red X at the top of of a page where multiple tabs are open, to see how many tabs are open, they disappear, and the preference option to not close multiple tabs without warning (which says the # of tabs open), has to be turned back on.

Here is a rather long winded explanation of my problem initially prepared for an email to Firefox until I found out that was not a possibility. Hello Agent, I have a problem with Firefox described as follows: I have an account with a company called Eversfield Organic an organic meat company. They have a facility whereby the delivered cold packs and insulating material can be returned to them via DPD free of charge. To achieve this a form has to be completed on Eversfields site to enable a returns label to be printed. When attempting to complete this form one line of this form will not accept an input. This item is called the “Country” which should read “United Kingdom”. I cannot input this manually or by my password manager “RoboForm” which temporary inputs United Kingdom until I release the mouse button when it goes blank again. I have tried the Google Chrome and Opera browsers which work perfectly using this system. So logically it would appear that there is a fault with Firefox which is a shame since it is my preferred browser. It would be appreciated if you can provide a solution to this problem. i recently download firefox for a new computer when i went to search controls i noted that there was no choice for the address bar before i used the bar that had a search engines engine listed in the address bar but no i dont see it did something change at firefox i would still like a choice on watch search bar to use Im paul jensen beadoz@yahoo.co.uk
