Pop up widgets that are caused by virus?
I keep getting these "pop up" widgets on my MacBook Air. I've tried removing them with Malwarebytes, with no success. HELP!! You can call me if necessary.

OK, I'm not a techie, so forgive my lack of accurate vernacular here, but I was a happy-go-lucky Mozilla supporter and user on all my Apple devices up until recently. I have no idea if there's a causal relationship here, but the serendipity seems to be something worth mentioning.
I signed up for the Mozilla VPN offering in October of 2022. I did not work well enough, and again, I'm a novice at such things, but I stopped using it within a week. Around the end of December, the Firefox browser has had serious problems where it would constantly crash on just about every page, sometimes multiple times. After a few days of that, I trashed the version I had and downloaded and installed the newest version just last weekend (01 JAN 2023). That lasted a few days, but now, all of a sudden, it will not open at all. I click the icon, it bobs twice, then nothing happens. The right-click "open" feature did likewise. I trashed that too and I am unwillingly to try again until I hear some feedback on this from subject-matter experts, if possible.
With my phone and iPad things are working just fine, so it must be my 5-year-old iMac that has been updated to version 12.6.2 just yesterday. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. I was using Ghostery and every other security feature I could find with Firefox, but in this age of Surveillance Capitalism, who knows what works anymore.
Thanks in advance, and wishing you all well in every way, sincerely.

Hi! I have the Firefox browser on my MacBook Pro and I also use the Mozilla VPN. I’ve been trying to sign into my Firefox account for several weeks now and keep getting a ‘Cookies and local storage are required’ error message. The problem is that cookies are already enabled. I have tried restarting, updating the browser, doing it with the VPN on and off, listing firefox as an exception, and everything else I can think of. I’m currently entering this on my phone, because the browser also won’t let me sign into my account on my laptop without enabling cookies and local storage.
Any suggestions? I keep getting stuck in a loop.

I want to delete Firefox and reinstall, but first I want to save all of my cookies and other settings. (I've already downloaded my bookmarks.)
How do I save my cookies and other settings?
thanks very much. Sandy

I am having a lot of issues with Firefox 103.0.2. When I open tabs I'm getting connection issues, if I open a new tab to search, I am getting the same message. I also am now having printing issues directly from Firefox only. It isn't printing mailing labels correctly, logos are huge and you can only see a portion of them. This all started with the newest update of Firefox. Everything was working fine before. I have tried printing the same label through Safari and Chrome and it works fine so not a printer issue. I am on a Mac Mini MacOS Catalina 10.15.7. I have tried deleting the app and reinstalling, clearing cache and history, restarting my computer, working offline but nothing helps.

See screenshot. Not exactly a tab, however the last web page viewed when the prior session of Firefox was closed, auto loads next to the first tab upon starting Firefox again. This is the white checkmark on maroon circle in the upper left of the image. I went directly to settings using my opening tab. Have been through all settings multiple times turning things on and off and cannot figure out how to get rid of this feature of loading the last page used as a clickable icon (icon from page, such as the Home Depot icon would appear there instead of the Intuit checkmark if I had last been on the Home Depot site). How do I get rid of this auto-load?

Hard to describe. I sign onto Facebook without problem, scroll down once or twice, and then it goes crazy. The postings in front of your eyes are replaced by others so quickly they can't be read. I'm not having this problem on other browsers. Yeah, I know it's Facebook but I'd like to fix it anyway. I'm running OS 11.6.7. The Firefox version is 103.0 64-bit. Any suggestions?

I recently moved from Chrome to Firefox. When I use Firefox on Ubuntu 22.04, I can access my passwords freely. However, when I use it on macOS Monterey, it does not work. Page about:logins shows no logins and passwords but only a small little warning bar in the upper corner that says that I need to login with my OS password (see Firefox asks for authentication (password, voice, face or fingerprint) when accessing passwords fixed link to kb article. aw). However, when I click the small "Connexion" button in the notification bar, nothing happens. I have no pop-up/prompt, neither on the system nor on the web page, to allow me input my credentials. I tried after reinstalling Firefox on my Mac but nothing changed.
Do you know how this problem can be fixed? Thank you, and sorry if it is a duplicate.

HI FIREFOX! Many websites are not readable. I can see these correctly in Safari. I tried getting the latest Firefox updates. It did not fix the issues. Bizarrely, I can paste into another application and read the gobblity gook. So I think it is just a font issue. I really do not want to go back to Safari. Poshmark and Fedex are the two websites I experienced issues with today. Fedex would not interact properly with Firefox but I could find my tracking information on Safari. I have had the problem previously but did not have time to look into it that day. 16" Macbook Max M1 running Monterey

My Mac: macOS Monterey 12.5.1 Firefox: 105.0.1 Since I updated my system Firefox has trouble loading and closing some pages, especially my BOA and ATT.net email accounts. Any thoughts on why this is happening and what to do about it? It's especially concerning with the sites I go to to pay bills.
ATT.net I can sign in OK but then I get a page that says redirecting and it never loads. When I use Chrome, I'm not having a problem. All my bookmarks are set in Firefox so I'd rather not have to change them all over to Chrome. I can sign into my BOA account with no problem. When I sign out of BOA I get a window with a spinning dial that says signing out please wait but it never stops, leaving me wondering if it's exposed.
Thanks, Marnie McNamara
