Hi.

My former laptop got damaged and I couldn't remember my Firefox password to restore my saved passwords.

So, when I reset password, all the old passwords in the former laptop didn't sync or rather were lost.

Now I have the Hard Disk of my former laptop and when I connected it to my new laptop and searched for Firefox "password" files I found passwords.json in a particular location: E:\***\****\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\4ee3ocax.default\weave\changes.

I am looking for a way I can import this password file and access them in my Firefox account in my new laptop.

Thanks

I'm a long time user of Firefox and have an email acct at AOL. Several days ago, as I was logging into AOL email (from Windows PC) I received a new notice that the login did not match my device and I would need to use a 2nd verify code (via cellphone). That worked and all was well. The next time I tried to log into AOL, the sequence repeated ... so, where does Firefox keep its host PC's ID ... can it be edited ? .... why did this start --- did I get hacked?

How can I switch Firefox browser, for an actual desktop computer, to dark mode. I can't seem to find anything in the browser options, and the only mention of dark mode I'm finding in help articles is about a pdf reader. Thanks in advance.

I suddenly cannot get Bing voice search to open and work/respond.. only images and regular search works!? Was fine until last week and even prior to an update from Firefox it stopped working on either pc's (one old windows 7 and new windows 10) It works on Edge browser and Fire Tablets, so I assume it is a Firefox issue ;( Has anyone else had this and how do I get it fixed?

I generally clear my history when I leave Firefox. Several times, my history, even more extensive than the present I eliminated, plus recent has been restored when I sign in the next time. How could this happen when I have manually gone in and cleared all my history? I had the computer on the 2nd most private setting, ith all the boxes checked and the warning that all the history would be removed. I checked the delete or remove box confirming that I wanted the history removed. What on earth would make it return when I am offline and computer is sleeping?

Hi all, my firefox on windows 7 just updated to v84 and I am having some trouble playing videos in full screen. When I play videos on youtube AND other platforms in full screen, firefox just freezes(while still playing audio) and then crashes. I tried restarting without add-ons and reinstalling firefox, no luck. However, under windows' safe mode everything is just fine. Any solutions please? Thanks in advance :D
