If you google the problem you get 5 years of answers, most of which no longer work.

Changing layout.css.devPixelsPerPx doesn't work, it changes the entire browser.

My question: Is Mozilla going to add the fix to "Settings" so I can click on it and select a number and go on with my life?

PS I tried asking this question on the Reddit forum for Firefox and you can't.

I was a former IT person for decades and used Firefox because I love it. But lately, it isn't usable for me. Seemingly happened out of nowhere within the past few weeks.

I tried all the troubleshooting steps in the guides on your support forum, but nothing worked. So I tried the following:

1. Uninstalled Firefox using Windows Uninstaller 2. Deleted every single Mozilla folder from within the user profile to the program files folders, local roaming folders, etc. - EVERYTHING. 3. Went into the Windows Registry and also deleted Mozilla folders within the local machine and current user folders. 4. Rebooted computer 5. Went to Getfirefox.com and reinstalled Firefox. 6. Logged into a brand spanking new Firefox installation

Still SLOW as molasses. Frustrating. I can't work. It is literally 4x slower than any other browser now. I use Firefox for 90% of my web stuff, the other browsers 10% of the time for testing. But as it goes now, I cannot use Firefox anymore after decades of using it.

Anything else I can try? Maybe I missed something when I scrubbed it and reinstalled? Why suddenly is it this slow? Any ideas?

I will try next to log into a different Windows profile I guess and see if that improves it. Maybe my Windows profile is jacked up, although, I thought removing all Mozilla folders from within my Windows profile would be enough, so I am not so sure that will fix it. I will try though.

Any help you can provide would be much appreciated.

I followed your suggestion to increase security and installed a primary password. My Samsung computer has apassword storage as well. the first time I used the properly verified primary password, it worked fine to get into my gmail. Now, when I want to open my gmail, a window asking for my primary password pops up, but repeatedly asks for the password and does not let me in. It blocks the Google pop up that also wants to verify it is me. I have removed the primary password in order to be able to use my computer!

After resetting my Firefox account password, all my saved passwords disappeared. Firefox for iOS has all the passwords but it doesn't sync with the desktop version. firefox [edited] @gmail.com account. How can I roll back to 15.08?

No matter what website I browse such as bing image, Github, CSDN Blog, etc., firefox always crashes randomly. I uninstalled and reinstalled it and the crash happened again. The crash report IDs are bp-b911c096-525b-4e37-b755-2c5630230818 and bp-937c99d3-7c33-47b3-aac1-c71980230818. I sincerely hope that someone can help me with it, I‘m more than appreciated.

I have had to install a new hard disk. I have installed Firefox and logged into my Firefox account. What I'm missing is the migration of my toolbar, menubar, & bookmarks. What do I need to do.

My Firefox was completely not working so according to the Firefox Support page, I uninstall and then re-installed Firefox. It is working fine now except I have none of my bookmarks anymore. I have tried every suggestion that is on the support page and there is NOTHING coming back. The instructions stated that my bookmarks would not be erased if I followed the instructions, which I did. I NEED HELP FINDING ALL OF MY BOOKMARKS!!

Hi, Many websites are updating their security protocols, for example United (screenshot below), no pins, usernames or emails to sign in. After updating passwords yesterday I made the changes in Firefox Password Manager. Now it seems these new passwords don't work. Has anyone else report this? Thank you very much.

I accidentally blocked the DrJava website due to not paying strict attention to what I was doing on the screen when using Firefox to go to this site - www.drjava.org. I don't know how to reset my access to this site and this site only. Is there a method I can accomplish that will reset this ONLY blocked site on my Firefox and Dell PC. Thanks in advance.

Since a week or two my Firefox tabs are crashing more and more often. At work on MacBook and at home on PC.

Deleting the cache and cookies and even starting in Safe Mode are not helping - in fact while writing this very message had 5 crashes meanwhile!

There appears to be an echo for recipient of calls when I use Google Voice through Firefox. When I call people, they hear an echo of their own voice. I hear them fine. This just recently happened which I'm wondering if it has anything to do with the last update installed. I tried a different browser and it works fine. Please help.
