When the little yellow man is placed on to the map, and a direction arrow is clicked, the view just continues to spin round. Clicking on the 'X' in the top right hand corner terminates street view. This does not happen with other browsers.

My OS is Debian 12, Firefox is the latest version 115.9.1esr (64bit).

Firefox just stops responding when trying to load a web page. The only way to get it back working is to reboot the computer. I have tried quitting the application but when I try to restart it it doesn't respond and I end up having to force quit and reboot the computer and then it will work fine. Recently I noticed that whenever I try to save a bookmark (and I save a lot of bookmarks) there are duplicates of my folders. I don't know why, but somehow at some point all my bookmarks got copied into other folders - Bookmarks Menu, Bookmarks Toolbar, and maybe something else. What's frustrating is that one of the folders is the one I use for convenience to access sites I regularly use, while saving to the other puts it somewhere I can't easily get to (I think it's the copies from Bookmarks Menu), so I have to make sure I'm putting it in the right folder - which is hard to do when they have the exact same name. Something I've found that works is to just find out which folder is the one that is in my toolbar and save it to those which pushes the ones in the Bookmarks Menu out of the quick access list, but that's not always convenient given how many bookmarks are in some folders. Using the bookmarks dupes extension, you can see just how many duplicates there are. I've also attached what I see when I save a bookmark, so you can see the duplicate folders.

I'm running a UI deployment with a web-app and Firefox on an Ubuntu system.

I'm running Firefox with the flag "--kiosk" to place it into kiosk mode (booted from the command line upon system boot). This works fine, and boots up Firefox to the page I want (my web-app) in kiosk mode (full-screen, etc.)

However, I get very annoying popups that are not acceptable for deployments in front of customers. I have tried, but CANNOT suppress all of them, or, when I thought I did, they came back a month later.

Popups:

1. "Keep pesky trackers off your tail. Open my links with Firefox" 2. "Welcome back" 3. Others like this...

These are Firefox browser popups, not related to popups that other websites can put up, and block the entire screen with an overlay until they are dismissed. My deployments are only going to a single web-page that I control (which has no popups) and there is no keyboard on the deployed system, so people cannot navigate elsewhere.

Things I've tried:

1. Firefox is installed via snap, which provides "snapshotting" configuration for the Firefox snap. I loaded Firefox, cleared the annoying dialogs, and then took a snapshot (theorying that I set Firefox configuration when doing this, and I capture that in the snapshot) and re-installed it onto a new system. Still go popups 2. Looked into user.js preferences. I can install this file onto the system, so I looked through https://searchfox.org/mozilla-release/source/remote/shared/RecommendedPreferences.sys.mjs and this is how I initially got all the popups to disable themselves. I looked through that list and tested most of the recommended settings until the popups disappeared. However, after a month or so, I'm beginning to see the popups again.

Any suggestions from Mozilla or others that run into this issue?

I have logged out of one Gmail account and want Firefox to use another, but Firefox ignores the one I want to use. How do I get Firefox to recognize a certain Gmail account so I can receive mail?

Firefox Setup 125.0.2.exe popped a flag on Jotti's malware scan: ClamAV: Win.Trojan.Spora-7724442-0 I know this is going to turn out a false positive because VirusTotal came up with no flags but can someone at Mozilla get this flag cleared at Jotti's/ClamAV ? thanks

I don't like getting recommendations in Pocket that you need a subscription to read. Why waste my time giving me the initial information on something, but then when I try to read it, I can't because I already have too many subscriptions. Seems like there used to be an option besides "Dismiss" to not show content from particular sites?

My Firefox browser is up to date but I cannot log on to my Bank website. As soon I enter my Logon info I get logged out, however I can access the site using MS EDGE. This is a recurring problem. The website recognizes Firefox as an valid browser. Occasionally I have been able fix problem by clearing the browser Cookies/History but at present none of that works. Do you have any suggestions? My preferred browser is Firefox so this problem is frustrating.

Good morning, I have a problem with disappearing bookmarks, but I can organise the backup of the places.sqlite, but I assume that won´t be enough to recover, therefore my question is, which files would be needed or is the one mentioned sufficient?

I want to acess fundednext.com on my phone and laptop using firefox It says not secure I want to access it anyway.

I'm trying to watch videos on Disney plus and Amazon prime. I can't get them to work. I tried various tutorials but many were irrelevant because they referred to google chrome which I don't even have. I tried checking and unchecking the enable DRM checkbox. Widevine never seems to update. I do not know how to install in manually.

I've been trying to delete cookies and site data multiple times and it will not delete, even after multiple attempts to fix it. Such as deleting Mozilla folder in file explorer and downloading an extension to delete cookies and cache. Everything else gets deleted fine except for 2 sites.

I do not get my emails on my desktop. My email address ends with ---@ comcast.net. I can be reach via text on my Iphone. Thanks, Al Mizrahi

I am using theme called WhiteSur to imitate Safari, as that is the browser layout I prefer. However, this doesn't change the position of the close tab button and leaves it on the right hand side. I found a way to change it, using the code .tabbrowser-tab .tab-close-button {

 margin-right: 2.5px !important;

} Unfortunately, this doesn't change based on the size of the tab, so if I set it to a size that is good for only having 1 tab, it will look bad or be off the screen for the other amounts of tabs. Is there a way to detect the width of the tab or the amount of tabs open and dynamically set the margins based off of this? So I could set it as (width-of-tab)-x and that would always keep the close tab button in the same spot, regardless of tab size. Thanks!
