The title pretty much sums it up. I even tried drastic measures such as logging out then completely uninstalling Firefox and removing any leftover data on both platforms. After reinstalling and connecting to the Firefox account they will sync with previous data but any new data I add on Windows won't show up on Android and vice versa. I also obviously tried forcing a sync manually... I really wish I didn't have to switch to another password manager any help would be greatly appreciated! :)

Hi, I use Zoro.com for buying industrial parts. I get access denied on all my computers (something got synced). I tried clearing cache and clearing something else to no avail. Recently I did a clean reload of Linux and was able to get on to zoro. But when replaced the mozella directory with my copy (with all data) zoro again became unavailable. I have been doing workaround for months but it is a pain to switch browsers every time. Any Suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Ps I have been on the internet since it was called compuserve at 300 baud. I used to program machine code, dos, cpm, c+, Unfortunately at this time in my life a am not able to learn new tricks. Youtube video starts but after 0.5...1s stops, returns to intro splash screen of the video with 'Play' button on it. The play button should be pressed to start the video. The video may be selected on the main page of Youtube or started by entering link to the video - it stops in any case. The same problem when Autoplay is selected: the 2nd video starts then stops after 0.5...1s.

No such problem in MS Edge browser on this PC.

I want to allow websites access to my exact location. Where in about:config preferences do I set this up? I have read many confusing threads about this all over the web. And I may have messed up a few of those preferences. So please tell me about related preferences and what their settings should be too.

I also want to block all other location info such as from my IP, Google, wifi, cell towers, etc.. So that the websites only get the exact latitude and longitude. It is easy for me to get my exact latitude and longitude by searching for my address on Google Maps. The latitude and longitude is in the resulting URL.

I am on a desktop PC using Windows 10 Pro.

Hi, Thank you for your help, this my question: I'm using the dark theme. I would like to change the Menu bar color and only the menu bar color. I don't want to change for another theme or any other color etc. Just change the Menu bar color. This is the same question than here under, but this question was not answered:

This is just a complaint . . . Settings>Cookies and Site Data>Manage Data does not show the server that set a cookie, it only shows the domain -- e.g. domain.com, not https://www.domain.com or even www.domain.com However, Settings>Cookies and Site Data>Manage Exceptions requires the complete server name. If I don't include "https://" or "http://" it adds them. This makes it difficult or impossible to actually manage exceptions; I can't specify which cookie(s) I want to allow, block, or save if I can't see the data that's stored.

Why can't I choose a domain in Manage Data and get a Manage Exceptions pop-up?

Since upgrading to OS Ventura, my iMac can't stream Prime videos on Firefox. My Mac Book has no problem on the same Amazon Prime account. If I use Safari on the iMac, it works fine. Anyone else had this problem?

I don't know if this is a firefox or outlook problem, but I can no longer access outlook live (https://outlook.live.com/mail/0/) from my main screen. Blank page. Oddly enough though, I can access it by going to "private browsing." So I'm guessing there's a setting that's keeping outlook from loading, but I don't remember changing any settings recently, so I'm stumped. This has been happening for only the past 3 days.

I have been trying to remove "Your browser is being managed by your organisation" simply because the browser is on my home PC and not being managed by any organisation. However, I have an issue with registry editor as it does not have Mozilla or Firefox keys in "Policies" "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies" or "HKEY_CURRENT_USER". I would be grateful for any advice to overcome this issue as it annoyingly restricts access to web pages.

Youtube autoplay stopped to work properly.

After previous video next video really starts automatically then, may be after half a second or second, the video stops and returns to intro splash screen of the video. One must press Play to start this next video again. I tried next steps: 1. In Firefox Privacy and security settings / Autoplay: I allowed audio and video autoplay for all sites 2. On the left side of URL string for Youtube site I pressed the button and also allowed audio and video autoplay for the site. The image on this button changed. I reloaded Youtube - no effect, reloaded Firefox and Youtube - all the same.

3. I checked Youtube autoplay in Microsoft Edge browser - it works correctly.

What should be done in Firefox to restore autoplay? I don't remember when this problem appeared.

Was online at Facebook.com and playing a game when suddenly I got the error (SSL_ERROR_RX_RECORD_TOO_LONG) that came up,and have not been able to return to that page since. Please help I am no computer wiz!!! Thank you, Leslie Holt

I come back to use Firefox and discovered my personal email was associated with an account I created 5 years ago with my professional email that has been destroyed since then.

In the Firefox account settings it says: "Access your account if you can’t log in to your primary email."

But if I try to "Make primary" my secondary email it asks for a confirmation code from the primary email which I don't have access.

If I want to remove my secondary email in order to use it to create another account, it asks for a confirmation code.

If I want to delete the account, it asks for a confirmation code.

It's hard to understand what the use of a secondary email if it can't be used when needed.

What are my option to be able to use my personal email (secondary email of an existing account). Doesn't matter if I have to recreate an account but my personal email is locked to that account.

PS: I have access to the Firefox account but can't access the primary email.

I have developed some training with html canvas. The target classroom PCs have no internet connection. I loaded the standard Firefox file on a portable hard drive, but when I go to load it on the classroom PCs it attempts to connect to the internet. Is there an offline version?

Hi, Ive looked for a reason for this but i can find nothing. I've freshly installed ubuntu, pop_os and Manjaro. All 3 crash within minutes of starting up firefox. mind you these are fresh installs and there is no cache to clear and no extensions or addons. And what is stranger is the fact that only on Manjaro, firefox is excruciatingly slow. to the point of almost unusable. Is there any thing i can do, or, can anyone help me with this? its been going on for several months. thank you for your help and time Alchamech

12/23/22 After trying for a week to install your mozilla software (thinking this would help to install google play store apps) on my Dell windows pc - it never worked so I requested a refund. I still need assistance in using the firefox browser to install a google play store app specifically the LaView app. Would appreciate your assistance. Henry Mazik

I had Norton password manager in Firefox. I have now installed a new norton 360 and the password manager does not work. It shows as being installed but it will not operate, only on Chrome browser. How do I activate this?

Often, when I try to search on Google using the search bar, Firefox will load and load and load... and then fail to actually load up Google and search my query.

It doesn't matter if I do this on a new tab or an existing one, it will load and load for probably about 15-20 seconds, and then acts as if I didn't try to do anything at all.

Once it's had it's moment, and successfully fails to load Google, I can try again and it will instantly load Google when I try again, and will continue to do so for a while.

While this issue is happening, I can load any other website just fine. It only affects Google searches using the address bar.

Any idea on a solution or anything I can try to stop this issue occuring?

Is there a way to set firefox to save only history that is a certain time old? If I don't do anything after six months my history from six months ago will still be saved. Is there a way to set it for example to stop storing history that is over 3 months old?
