Can someone please answer how to reset firefox size after you've been using a bigger screen and go back to the laptop the top bar is lost way up and I cant catch it to move it to resize the firefox window. Using Fn and F11 to go into maximize mode doesnt help me at all cuz I end up in full screen on the FHD screen but cant grab and drag the window to resize it again - and please NO comments about using FN and F11 again. This is an issue thats been since years - cant figure out why ppl who are tryin to help think others dont know the difference between maximization and the window being bigger than the laptop screen and being lost. So FIREFOX key-shortcut for window size reset URGENT PLEASEEEE - Im having this issue couple times a week. To fix it I gotta go again to the bigger screen reduce the size of the window and then disconnect - which is soooo horrible.

I am trying to use OBS Virtual camera, I am resetting permissions of camera access, removing cache and data to be sure, and selecting it but it still doesn't let me use OBS Virtual Cam and selects Built in cam automatically does anyone has any solutions ?

when I enter for first time I can select and i select OBS Virtual Cam and I click on Allow and then next window pops up and it doesnt let me select anything else...

Hi, I've just switched to Firefox and I've been customising settings to make it work the way I like.

I prefer having my browser open a blank page whenever I open a new tab or a new window. I've noticed that Firefox opens my homepage when I open a new window, and unfortunately I'm not able to set that to a blank page on my work computer because my employer controls what I have set as my homepage.

Is there any way I can configure Firefox to open my new tab page, or a blank page, when I open a new window, instead of opening my homepage?

I'm running firefox 124.0.2 on Linux Mint and am having the most bizarre issue. I've got a logitech M560 mouse, and when I press the mouse button for Forward it functions normally. However when I press the mouse button for Back, Firefox ignores it.

I've already confirmed that the OS is registering the button click as 'Back' using Input-Remapper, and the extra mouse buttons are enabled in the Firefox configuration. I've also used the mouse on another PC with no issues so this one is kind of boggling the mind.

I have a dark themed website with light colored lable that is positioned inside the input field and having the autofill to autocolor the input's background yellow makes things look horrendous. I've tried the following CSS:

   background: rgba(0, 98, 155, 0.35) !important;

} ```

On top of that, I tried changing that for myself in about:config changing ui.-moz-autofill-background to false, but after clearing browser cache and doing a hard-refresh, the yellow autofill background color persists.

That would be a personal fix, but I would rather firefox not murder the theme of my site for others and let me have control of what color the autofill background color should be (if I even want there to be a difference in colors). Am I missing something? I don't simply want to turn that off for myself (although I still want to, but it didn't work). I want to change it for everyone visiting my site. (Like I'm able to change the colors of link or border colors or background colors of other elements).

I went to open a new tab today and suddenly the font or scaling on my menu bar got way bigger. It's extremely annoying, and I can't find any way to re-scale it, as all the zoom or font settings seem to affect only web pages, or the scaling of the entire browser window, including content. All the content in a browser window is fine, its ONLY the menu bar. I wonder if I hit a hotkey by accident when trying to open my tab (I used CTRL+T, but it's possible I accidentally hit another key instead or in addition to) but it's driving me up the wall.

Hi We want to use tablets with our own site as screens for clients. I need to set fullscreen option for when i open mozilla by default (with auto open option this would secure that no one undesireble would do anything unwanted). Is there any option like that within browser?

On my new Samsung Galaxy (win11), streamed programmes deliver no sound via the built-in speakers in Firefox, only via plugged-in headphones. In Edge the sound comes via either channel. How do I fix this?

I am attempting to copy values from one google sheet to another and am unable to do so effectively as whenever I press crtl +shift + c I open the the developer tools. All my efforts on looking for a solution have lead me to unsupported extensions so I'm stuck wondering what to do.

I'm a new user to Firefox on my Mac. I don't see a Share button that would allow me to email the current web site to a friend. Looking for help on the web, I see:

To access the feature, simply click on the Share button on the toolbar. The Share button looks like a paper airplane and is located to the right of the address bar.

but I just don't see any button or icon that looks like that.

I went into View > Toolbars > Customize Toolbars and didn't see a way to add a Share button. I clicked 'Restore to Defaults' and that didn't help.

I know I can choose File > Share from the menu but I'd rather have a toolbar item.

I am just wondering can you help me with my problem. I am currently doing a ICDL Essentials course with E-College and I am having a problem with ICDL connect as part of the course. It's something about a PSI In-application plugin if you know what I mean by that ??? it won't accept this plugin for some reason, can you help me with this problem please thanks.
