I'm working on a website for a client and all of a sudden I can't load any single page on that site only. I was just logged into to the dashboard and making changes. Now I can't even load a page.

The error is a cgi-sys/suspendedpage.cgi for any page I attempt to load. This is also happening on chrome on the same desktop computer.

I can load and login to the dashboard on both my phone and my laptop on the same wireless network without issue. I tried everything I know how. Cleared the cache and history, flushed the dns, reinstalled firefox, etc and this error will simply not go away.

At one point it was saying the security certificate was expired (it's not) and tried to add an exception but that didn't work either. Back to the cgi-sys/suspendedpage.cgi

I'm out of ideas and totally frustrated. Please help!!! lol

I have an embedded system with a HTTP server on it. It doesn't provide HTTPS. When I restart it, the host gets offline from the network for 10 or 20 seconds. When I try to reload the webpage too early (the host isn't quite ready yet), Firefox automatically redirects me to HTTPS. How can I disable HTTPS redirection on timeout?

Hello,

Firefox is blocking some website because it says it's not secure (see picture). I don't give a .... So I want to access the website anyways. However, there is NO way to do that, NONE. I've searched everywhere. So I can only rely on you guys. How can I force the connection or bypass the F security, or get rid of it, or something... anything.

Here is a historic of my tests : My issue is simple. 2 days ago I could surf on some website completely fine. Then all of a sudden half my website get SO CALLED "The connection has timed out".

- Test server : So I go on the usual website-server-is-down to test if the server is down. The website itself is perfectly fine according to 5 testing website. - Test server 2 : Then I go through a "browser inside browser" website to test it again (dunno how it's called). I can access the main page then navigate fine on all test-browser. The website is therefore fine. - "Not secure" : Despite the viciously misleading message saying "connection timed out" that makes you believe the website is down and gone, it is actually fine, as proven above. It's just for some god unknown reason Firefox decided to block it, without telling you it's actually blocking it (nice move!). - No button : I searched but could not find a way to either force the connection or create security exception. I tried disabling all security in "privacy" tab in the option, no deal. - Certificate : I also went to try and add the website as an exception in the certificate list, but Firefox pretends it cannot connect to the website, therefore you cannot add the certificate. - Security.enterprise : I have removed the access from Avast to Firefox allowing me to unlock security.enterprise_roots.enabled. Once I had it unlocked, I tried either True or False, but no deal (including reboots comp & browser) - I spent 4 hours searching solutions on the web, but couldn't fin any. Is Firefox actively preventing me for surfing the web as I like... ?

In the end, I still cannot access this website. And I wanna say to Mozilla : It's my own liberty if I want to go and shoot myself in the foot by visiting a so-called "unsecured website". I should be able to do so if I want to...

Anyway, if any gosu out there has the skill, please help ? ^^; Thanks

Some time a go I've configured access to the smart card in the Spanish id card in Firefox, and it work. But I'm recently trying to use again and it doesn't.

I'm in a Debian 10 with the libpkcs11-dnie installed (with its dependencies) and I've set it up in a firefox-beta. Is where I've added months a go the module (/usr/lib/libpkcs11-dnie.so), then I had logged in and saw the certificate in "Your Certificates".

Since then many updates came but I didn't need again to use this card. I'm trying it now that firefox-beta is 82.0 and the "log in" button is never enabled.

When I've tried with another firefox, for example the esr (78.3.0esr) coming with debian, I have to add this module as it wasn't there. I've clicked "Load" and fill the form with "module name" and "module filename" (the same file that I've mention before) and when I click 'ok', I receive an alert "Unable to add module". Same experience with firefox-stable (81.0.2) and with firefox-devel (82.0b9).

I don't even know if the issue comes from firefox. Is there a way to debug further the origin of this alert message or why this is not being recognized by the application?

Thanks

Infinite Security Alert loop on Firefox browser for https site using SSL Certificate

Hi There,

I'm hoping someone can help me on this I have exhausted several options so far.

I am trying to access a https site using an SSL Certificate (Specifically Chain of Trust with a root, intermediate and server certificate) on Firefox, however whenever I attempt to visit the site a recurring Security Alert pop up continues to appear with the message: "A secure connection with site cannot be verified. Would you still like to proceed?" . The certificate isn't signed which is the reason for the popup.

I use the website frequently on other browsers and subsequently press yes and continue to the site, but on Firefox the same Security Alert pop continues to appear regardless of the number of times I accept it.The issue is specifically related to Firefox as I can accept the certificate on Chrome, IE and Edge and not face the same issue.

I have tried multiple options to circumvent the issue, including adding the CA's into my Trusted Root Certification Authorities on my Windows (and setting security.enterprise_roots.enabled to true), and manually importing the certificates into Firefox under the Authorities section of the Options menu, clearing cache and cookies and restarting browser/machine. I have added the hostname of the site to the hosts file, and even as a test temporarily disabled SCL validation to see if this would prevent it. However in all cases the security popup continues to reappear, in an infinite loop.

Does anyone know of any alternative ways that will allow me to proceed to the website, or circumvent the Security Alert loop problem? Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Dear Mozilla Support, I am contacting you because I would like to have clarifications regarding the following notification (that I found at the link: https://monitor.firefox.com/user/dashboard):

1 Email address being monitored

Maybe I misunderstand the sentence, so I don't know whether to interpret it positively or negatively.

In other words: is Firefox monitoring my Email account, to protect it, or else has it been detected that my Email account is being monitored by third parties? If the second hypothesis is correct: how do I know who is checking my email account?

I thank you in advance.

With best regards

I want to stop hackers from making changes to my browser settings that shuts off my firewall and anit-virus. i want to know what they are changing to accomplish this. A simple refresh of Firefox (it would be a reset of any other browser) alleviates the problem, so I know it is in here. I don't think sharing my data will offer anything as the browser has been 'refreshed' but will if someone thinks it will help.

It's a simple question: Why Firefox enforces by default extensions like Amazon, Bing, eBay, Google ? What really these extensions do?

Paradox#1: Firefox enforces to use those totally insecurity and unreliable companies! Paradox #2: Firefox don't even show those extensions mentioned above! Paradox #3: Even when I remove them from "Options->Search Engines" these ones keep being enabled and hidden! Paradox #4: Third party program needed to manage those Firefox hidden extensions! I Disable all above extensions by "CCleaner" and: Paradox #5: they comes back by default in every Firefox damn update!

I wish I'm wrong I would pleased if someone explain in an article, or even in few words, why all those. I think Mozilla should detailed explain.

Thanks in advance and Sorry for my English.
