Everytime I go to my bank, it's a crapshoot as to whether it thinks I'm a tablet / phone or a PC. And, I'm using a PC. I can't do things in tablet mode that I can do when I get it to see if I'm a PC. I know I'm screwed when it suggests that I download the app because I can do more there.  :(

And, I am still trying to figure out why, and how I'm able to get it to change it's mind! And, there's no "desktop mode" on the menu anymore, so I can't force it that way. It's really frustrating when I'm trying to reconcile my bank. I can't click on the Cleared button in "tablet" mode. I used to see it on my 360 convertible, and figured it was hardware based. But, now it's a straight laptop, no tablet mode.

Hi, I am designing a website for viewing photos like pay per view system. When an user push the shortcut CTRL+S, is there a fonctionnality to disable the media storage by permissions for example? I have tried to disable indirectly with keypress event listener but it seems there is a browser privilege for his shortcuts. More, what are the fonctionnalities you provide to help webdesigners to secure their websites? I understand and I agree about the work you make for users against tracking and for confidentiallity on the web. Regards, Thierry Lacouloumere

I know that the autofill for credit cards is only available in the US and Canada (https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/credit-card-autofill#w_edit-your-saved-credit-cards). I live in the US. The feature was working just fine... until I traveled overseas and used my laptop there and changed time zones to where I was visiting. Now that I'm back in the US, the feature is missing. In the settings, I don't see a "Forms and Autofill" section in the settings. I checked system locale and it's properly set to us-en. All the settings are properly set in about:config. I've tried everything I found by searching online and nothing helped. I even tried creating a separate profile in Firefox to see if the section shows up under setting with no luck.

Any help/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I'm getting the below message on certain websites (www.planetf1.com for example), when trying to view comments. I've got uBlock Origin and Dark Reader installed, but disabling uBlock doesn't seem to fix the issue.

Anyone know how I can allow this? Also is it a massive security issue if I do allow it?

It seems that you have rejected Vuukle from accessing your browser storage through Consent Management Platform. Please enable Vuukle from your Consent Management Platform partner list for smooth functioning of the platform.

am seeing an issue in firefox on unix with accessing a web page which uses basic http authentication mechanism. It pops up for user id and password for basic authentication. When I enter the credentials and click submit the response received is 401 Unauthorized. Same webpage and authentication works in chrome browser on same system (so assuming no firewall issues). The Firefox and chrome is configured in a console where we test it. And both are requesting for the same host. I believe there is some configurations issue in Mozilla firefox that might be affecting it. Attaching the request and response for both.

Firefox version that has a problem : Mozila Firefox 78.4.0esr

Some websites have this text box under their articles to write a comment and post it on Facebook (see the screenshot). But for that to happen, first you must login to your Facebook account. The problem is that when I click the button "login to post", nothing happens - as if I didn't click it at all. I suspect the reason for that are the integrated anti-tracking options in Firefox 89. So the question is: how do I get this plugin to work in Firefox 89?

P.S. Until a month ago I was temporarily using Chromium as default browser and there the FB plugin had no issues. Chromium has no anti-tracking options which is why I think this function in Firefox is the reason for the FB plugin not to work.

Hello, Recently I tried using my email to create an account for a website. Firefox prompted me to save the password, to wich I accepted but it didn't save my ID. The next day I couldn't login into the same website, I've checked my credentials and they were correct. So what I'm asking is, Is there any way I could see wich ID's I've used to try and login into a specific website?

PS: I know this could be a website side error, but I'm trying to check everything. PPS: I apologize if my writing is confusing, english is not my native language.

Client certificates don't stay deleted. cert9.db is restored on Firefox Nightly re-launch.

Steps to reproduce: - I delete a client certificate "Your certificates" - I close Certificate Manager - I open Certificate Manager and the certificate is back

- I delete the same client certificate - I locate the profile in about:profiles (Profile: default-nightly, is in use)

I do "show in Finder" and delete cert9.db

I do "show in Finder" and delete cert9.db

- I close Firefox Nightly - I open Firefox Nightly and cert9.db is restored, the certificate is back.

The client cert is not in the Keychain. It was before but I thought maybe it is restored from the keychain.

My bank (cibc.com) has recently started randomly sending a code which hs to be entered to login. The problem is it happens to me every single logon, even if I logon, enter the sent code, logoff then immediately logon on again. I have disabled tracking protection for the site ( the shield icon) but no change. I only use ublock origin and have disabled it for my banking site. But there is no change. Every logon the bank insists on sending a code to allow a logon.

I am at my wits end and about to start using Chrome to see if that works.
