So for my main gmail I have 2 step for obvious security reasons, but I want it to trust my PC so that I don't have to pull out my phone every time I try to access it. No matter how many times I click the option to trust this PC it always ask' for the 2 step, and I don't see the PC on the trusted list in my gmail settings. I have already added "mail.google.com" to the exceptions part of the cookie and site data settings, even "account.google.com" but it just doesn't seem to work. What is the obvious thing that I am missing?

I'm not anywhere close to understanding how to change anything (not technology-suave) so need BIG help on getting rid of ad popups when I'm on email account!

I love Firefox and until lately (before I had to replace my old STOLEN laptop with a new one) and using Yahoo... I have been plagued with hundreds of popup ads! Don't like GOOGLE... think they may be BIG BROTHER!

Every time I would try to log in it would always redirect me to a website that contain only the words "Expected redirect cookie to exist"

It's really annoying because it only happens on Firefox. For some context I just re-installed Windows 11 and I heard from another post that re-installing Windows 11 will help but I do not want to go through the whole process again.

I have already tried:

• Turning off DNS over HTTPS
• Turning Off Proxy
• Clearing Cache and Cookies
• Reinstalling Firefox

About every month or so Firefox decides to delete my login info and i have to relog everywhere again.

While this is not a critical issue, its a very annoying one.

My cookie settings are on standard, and the "Delete cookies and site data when Firefox is closed" square is unticked. I use Dashlane for my passwords but ive used it for a long time before on mozilla and other browsers and i've never had issues with it.

When i clear cache of my all history then i will search for https://chrisownbey.com its appear you Privacy protection and page don't open

Why am I locked out. I play every day and today I can't get through and Google said it might be a Cookies issue. Need help please. Not very savy re. Cookies. I am a Senior.

I have attached images of what slowly occurs when I don't clear my cookies, websites start to slowly and slowly load less and less until they eventually completely break and wont load and I have to clear my cookies, resign into everything. and rinse and repeat every few days or a week, I also attached an image of what the purchase screen is supposed to look like. I have a constant problem with Chase.com - they are telling me it's Firefox, then it's because of the cookie blockers on FireFox. I have heard every excuse under the sun. I try to login, I get chase doesn't recognize device, then they send a one time code, which doesn't work, so I have to call them, they tell me it's Firefox causing the problem. I know that's a myth because the same thing happens on MS Edge. Is anyone else having this problem? Do you have any suggestions?

Hello Is it Is it possible to have two separate installations of Firefox on the same PC. I would like one normal installation and one that would delete all cookies at shutdown. Thanks

Despite having logged into Which? via FireFox, and accepted all cookies I am asked again and again on every Which? page about cookies.

How can I stop this?

I use CCleaner>Options>Cookies to save cookies in certain containers. I see that Firefox uses userContextId to specify a container. Where can I find which userContextId NUMBER is assigned to which container NAME?

I have twice come across a glitch on the Firefox version of tumblr. The notifications will remain entirely static, regardless of how many items are in my dash or how many people have interacted with my posts. I am sure this is a Firefox issue as logging onto Google Chrome removes this issue entirely. I have temporarily removed cookies and passwords for tumblr, but the issue has not improved.

With my previous browsers--such as Chrome and Brave--I could automatically get into key sites without signing in every time. I thought this was due to cookies that my login passcodes. In the case of Google, it is by far the most challenging. Despite having a gmail account since early 2003, and using Google regularly since the '90s, it persists in asking me lots of questions and texting codes, etc.

My situation with Firefox is not working smoothly as it was when I used it for many years about a decade ago. I've already imported such browser data from these sites.

Can you help? Otherwise, I'll move on to Safari again.

Hello, Firefox keeps signing me out of Google websites like google.com and youtube.com when I close out the browser. I recently switched from Google Chrome and was wondering if this was a Google issue or if it was Firefox. It only keeps me signed out of Google accounts, and keeps me signed in for every other website. I have the "Delete cookies and site data when Firefox is closed" box unchecked and it still keeps me logged out, and I have "cookied" unboxed in my Clear History settings as well. I'd like to have this issue fixed as soon as possible for school-related reasons.

So I updated today as requested and now all the sites I had previously checked to allow pop ups etc on are no longer functioning.

Why dod you not include copying these settings in your update,

What a massive waste of my time
