I am unable to download images from Google Drive using FireFox. I've looked through several discussion boards and tried various solutions: managing exceptions in cookies, clearing cookies and site data, signing out of all other google accounts, signing out and signing back in; thus far nothing has worked.

It also seems as though I am perfectly able to download regular text documents.

Other people have received an error message when encountering this problem, I haven't even gotten that far. I click download, a couple loading messages appear in the bottom left, and then nothing happens.

I know that this is solely a problem with my FireFox, as I've just installed Google Chrome and was able to download the image; however, I'm not a fan of Google Chrome and would like to resolve this issue I'm running into with FireFox so that I can continue using it.

Attached is an image of the only message that appears when I attempt to download an image.

I know that flag emojis are basically not rendered on Windows platforms. A two-letter-combination is shown instead (e.g. DE for Germany), which is a known issue. Since a few months however, Firefox started to show flag emojis. I assumed that Firefox itself did show the flag emoji independently from Windows (as opposed to Chrome, which never did show flag emojis on Windows). Since a few days however, Firefox stopped showing flag emojis and shows the two-letter-combination again.

Why does Firefox not show flag emojis anymore?

I would ask in that thread but it's closed (pretty ridiculous) so here's a new thread to add to the clutter.

I have a portable installation of Firefox. Might that be the problem?

I have used FIREFOX from version 1.0 but now I am stumped. I got hacked or got a virus and FIREFOX went CRAZY popping little windows up, wanting me to "manually update Firefox" but instead, I uninstalled it and now trying to get it back up with a new version 86.0 [64 bit]. Am almost there but hung up on a message where the BOOKMARK BAR is suppose to be that says:

"For quick access, place your bookmarks here on the bookmark bar. "MANAGE BOOKMARKS..."

I can not get my BOOKMARK BAR BACK to display "bookmarks". Just the above message.

I have no idea what it wants as if I press "MANAGE BOOKMARKS"[in the message"], the LIBRARY windows pops up and nothing I can do to get "a bookmark on the "bar" that says "

'For quick access, place your bookmarks here on the bookmark bar". MANAGE BOOKMARKS..'

I assume this is a NEW feature?

Soooo idk why this is happening to my firefox whenever i search things this always happen. I dont know how to fix it. If anyone can help me that would be great. Thank you

The very helpful scissors tool has gone from the three-dot menu and I can't find it anywhere. Is it a bug or has this feature been removed?

This is what I see now in the menu.

Just after the most recent FF update I noticed , from time-to-time, that when I print FF is using the FF printer mode instead of the default Adobe Acrobat printer mode. It doesn't happen all the time, but it happens. My options screen still shows Adobe as the default printer mode. So, I don't understand why this is happening. I look forward to anyone's comments. I had to refresh my firefox browser. After that on the firefox new tabs page there is no possibility to show recommended articles by pocket any more.

I can not fix it. There is no possibility to switch it on in the options -> home settings.

There is not any checkbox for "recommended articles by pocket" any more.

How can I fix this?

Dear All, I tried to upload a free ssl certificate to make my site sicure. With other browser I don't have any problems, but with Firefox I received this message: MOZILLA_PKIX_ERROR_REQUIRED_TLS_FEATURE_MISSING Someone have any solution about? Thanks to all.

I’ve been having quite strange problem with Firefox for a few months since version 80.X on clean Windows 10 (reinstalled from scratch after secure erase; the latest 20H2 version with all updates installed). It’s worth to mention that I’ve been using Firefox like 15 years and never had an issue like this before.

Firefox just fills up system drive completely (50+GB to 0 bytes remaining) few times a day under active usage. It happens randomly and I can’t identify the reason. I also can’t find any actual files saved on disk because it seems to be related to NTFS cache. I’ve tried disabling the following settings with no success:

browser.cache.disk.enable cached-web-content_cached-web-content browser.cache.memory.enable browser.cache.disk.smart_size.enabled

And couldn’t find any solution unfortunately. I usually have 2 windows opened ("common" and private) with 10 to 30 tabs each which is not much at all for i7/16GB I believe. This problem is extremely annoying and seriously affects SSD life so I'd really appreciate if someone would help me to resolve it. Thanks in advance!

I have suddenly got thick black lines round all text boxes, and the toolbar at the top. I can hardly see facebook for them. Would this be an update causing this? And how can I get rid?

GM Last Saturday morning Firefox crashed and my troubles started. Firefox works fine 2 other computers in the house just mine seems to affected. I have done everything that I could find on line to no avail. I would like some help PLEASE Greg

I was syncing all my data with mozilla firefox sync, few days back i reinstalled my windows before that i checked account was synced and it had all my bookmarks and logins, after re-installation i logged in my firefox sync account but didnt got any bookmarks or any other data back. Really worried what to do to get that data back.

I am writing an extension based on NewTab Override. I would like to know if there is a way to set the browser address bar to have no text when focused, and if so how to do that. So far I am using the code from NewTab Override that does: ``` browser.tabs.update(tabId, { url : url, loadReplace : true }, () => {}); ``` But I don't know any function or property to set for the address bar. I looked in the developer page for Mozilla Firefox but couldn't find anything.

Firefox has an option where you can see and copy saved passwords. is there any chance that i can block this or hide it. just a way that i can prevent people from seeing my saved passwords. thank you.

I can't log in to my nytimes.com account on firefox anymore. Desperately seeking help - nytimes log in on chrome works with no probs.
