I do my Firefox updates manually. I am currently using version 108.0.2. When I click on "about", it says I should "Update to Partner Removal". It usually tells me to update to the next version that is available. What is Partner Removal? Is it a legitimate update? I can't find anything on the website regarding this. Why does it not tell me to update to version 109?

Thank you for your help.

Using Firefox 108.0.2 on Win11. Need to change Secondary Email on my Firefox account. There is no apparent facility for changing much less adding an email on my Settings | Profile page. Both of the following:

  https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/change-primary-email-address-firefox-accounts
  https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/add-secondary-email-address-firefox-accounts

Say to "Click the 'ADD...' button next to the email address. There IS NO 'ADD...' button next to either email address. I need to change my secondary email address.

Macbook Air M2. Updated firefox, updated OS.

So, I have a firefox tab open. When I set "Full Screen" in "View" setting, I still have the tabs and url bar shown. I want to be able to remove the tabs, url bar, and mac toolbar from the screen while on a firefox tab. How do I do this? "Full Screen" in "View" only removes the mac toolbar. If I remember correctly, my windows 10 computer just has to press F11 to go fullscreen and remove the tabs and url bar as well (or is that google chrome?).

I keep a lot of tabs open, and it's not that unusual to lose my session altogether and have to restore it. This time, though, it's not letting me.

A "Restore Session" tab came up that said the following:

"Sorry. We’re having trouble getting your pages back.

We are having trouble restoring your last browsing session. Select Restore Session to try again.

Still not able to restore your session? Sometimes a tab is causing the issue. View previous tabs, remove the checkmark from the tabs you don’t need to recover, and then restore."

I usually attempt to restore from the "History" dropdown menu at the top of the screen, and it usually works on the first try. But even when it doesn't, this screen appears and gives me the option of clicking on the bright blue "Restore Session" button, and that typically does it. This time, though, the blue "Restore Session" button is much more muted in color and not responsive to clicks.

Do you have any ideas? Like I say, I keep a LOT of tabs open, and most of them serve as reminders to take care of something or other, so I really need to reopen all tabs from that previous session so I don't lose those reminders. Thanks!

Hello, I was using my headphones for watching YouTube on Firefox but then I unplugged them and the audio has stopped playing. I thought the issue was with the volume of my speakers, but the audio worked on any other app. So I plugged my headphones again and I could hear the audio from them. Anything I can do for fixing this (I even restarted the PC but the audio only plays with headphones)?

Regards, Tommaso

this message is constantly preventing me from entering my g-mail site

Did Not Connect: Potential Security Issue Firefox detected a potential security threat and did not continue to myaccount.google.com because this website requires a secure connection. What can you do about it? myaccount.google.com has a security policy called HTTP Strict Transport Security (HSTS), which means that Firefox can only connect to it securely. You can’t add an exception to visit this site. The issue is most likely with the website, and there is nothing you can do to resolve it. You can notify the website’s administrator about the problem.

lease list a step by step process to deal with this issue, thanks

When I tap the middle mouse wheel to enable auto-scrolling (with no additional inputs like clicking, scrolling, or keyboard inputs), on release of the middle mouse wheel, auto-scroll disappears. I can only use auto-scroll while holding down the middle mouse wheel.

I've reached out to other's and this seems to not be the intended/default behavior. I've confirmed middle-mouse wheel scroll (where it's a tap / toggle) works on Chrome as well as other applications like Spotify.

I would like to have it as a toggle. What can I do?

The problem is that when I search in the address bar, it does not give full search suggestions from bookmarks; it shortens the url.

Example: I have a bookmark for https://mail.proton.me/u/0/inbox When searching from the address bar, it always suggests mail.proton.me/

I tried completely deleting history to see if that was affecting it, which it was not. I have also tried changing many other settings to no avail. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

I just installed Firefox on a new Windows 11 desktop computer. I ported my profiles over and it appears everything came over EXCEPT: - Themes aren't working. I've tried switching them and they still don't display. The menu bar is black w/white letters; the toolbar is gray with white icons/letters. - My extension icons are there...sort of. If I hover over them I can see the tool tip but the icon doesn't appear on the toolbar which is light gray in color. I can live without the themes if I have to. Not so much the invisible extension icons. Any suggestions as to how I can get them to appear as they do on my Windows 10 desktop? Screen cap below. Cursor is hovered over the Undo Close Tab extension icon but where's the icon? Any suggestions as to how to troubleshoot this will be appreciated!!
