Mozilla Firefox for linux Mint 99.0.1 (64 bit) - mint-001

Using Outlook web, when viewing pdf documents, it displays strange symbols (incorrect font sets are probably used).

I point out that using Chrome the problem does not arise.

I also installed the microsoft fonts thinking it might solve the problem I attach illustrative image.

Best Regards. Salvatore

Scrolling in Firefox is causing any webpage to scroll many lines at once with a single click, and it seems to be exclusively happening to Firefox, as every other application scrolls normally. I have tried searching here and elsewhere for a solution, and I have tried to change about:config settings based on the recommendations I could find to no avail. I have also tried to refresh Firefox and have used Troubleshoot Mode, but those too have not worked. I have no clue as to what could have caused this, as I have not been messing with any settings prior to this.

Hi everybody, I never cleared my browsing history so far, because I often need to know which websites I already visited when I perform a research on Google. Having the previously visited URLs shown in a different colour is useful for my work.

However, I am wondering whether this huge amount of data could affect the browser speed and memory usage. More specifically, I have a few questions:

1) Out of curiosity, in which file of Firefox installation folder the history is saved, and where can I find it? 2) Do you think it is possible to clear ALL the browsing history, except for one specific URL? 3) Could a cluttered browsing history file affect negatively my browser performance?

Many thanks in advance for your help, Elisa

I'm doing some housekeeping and I noticed it's been literally more than 4 years since I've been locked out of the Firefox account associated with my real email address, yet the account still exists. After 4 years. I have to assume my personal information is still there as well. I'd rather not file legal complaints to draw attention to this issue. Who can I contact to have that account permanently deleted?

I can't use pdf to printout my credit card statements. This has happened on different banks. Finally, I gave up & went over to Chrome & had no problems. Please fix it. Another issue about pdf, it used to pop up on another page so I can view it right away when I clicked on open or whatever it was . But now, it disappears in a file. I miss the old way. Please fix it. Thank you. Sincerely, Melody

In Firefox, the comments section on articles at 9to5Mac have not loaded for me for some time. Today I was trying to figure out why.

Troubleshoot Mode did not fix it. (In Troubleshoot Mode, if I carefully watch the webpage loading, for a moment I see a flicker of the comments section loading for a fraction of second, but then it disappears.)

Example screenshots of this:

https://imgur.com/a/fQ18i2G

But creating a new profile in Firefox does fix it.

A few examples of the many webpages where this occurs:

The comments section also loads properly when looking at these same webpages in Chrome and Microsoft Edge.

I think(?) this behavior also happens with some other websites' comment sections, although I don't usually pay much attention to comment sections.

Any thoughts on how to fix it without needing rebuild my entire profile brick by brick?

Basic information: Firefox 107.0.1 (64-bit) (latest update available), Windows 10, i7 11th generation, 16 GB RAM

Thank you!

IS FIREFOX NOW POLITICALLY DOMINATED? I AM SHOCKED AFTER BELIEVING THAT FIREFOX WAS NOT BLOCKING INFORMATION ON THE WEB THAT THEY DIDN'T POLITICALLY AGREE WITH! NOW I FIND OUT THERE IS NO WAY TO CONTACT FIREFOX AND ALL THEY HAVE IS THE STANDARD ASK A QUESTION FROM THE COMMUNITY! THERE ARE TOO MANY GLITCHES WITH DOWNLOADING THEIR UPDATES AND COMPLETELY LOSING MY SAVED PASSWORDS AND NOW THIS BROWSER HAS BLOCKED INFORMATION POSTED ON A NEWS ARTICLE THAT SHOWS TWITTER FEEDS BY THE PRIOR TWITTER ADMIN THAT HAS BEEN FIRED. I HAVE THE STANDARD SECURITY AND DO TRUST THE SITE THAT I AM ON BUT WITHOUT EXPLANATION FIREFOX HAS BLOCKED THOSE FEEDS IN THE ARTICLE. CERTAINLY NOT INTENDED TO PROTECT MY BROWSING BUT TO BLOCK AN INTENTIONAL POLITICAL PERSPECTIVE! I NO LONGER WANT TO TRUST FIREFOX/MOZILLA WITH MY BROWSING CAPABILITIES ESPECIALLY KNOWING IT IS ONLY VOLUNTEERS AND NOT SUPERVISED OR ANY CUSTOMER SERVICE TO GIVE ANSWERS!
